Hello guys. I have a huge problem with my internal and external memory on my tablet. I cant install nothing because my tablet cant mount my memory. All commants from AdB doesn't work. Recovery boot or restore to factory settings doesn't work too because my tablet stuck. And my tablet doesn't have volume butons. I have tried anything from vold.fstab without solution. Please guys help me and sorry for my bad english.
My tablet is MID model but i dont know more.

Hi Folks,
I've a problem and I hope some of you guys can help me. I tried to install the latest nightly build of CyanogenMod on my SGS2 and unfortunally, my phone won't boot anymore.
I've got several backups from my phone I made using CWM Backup on my Harddrive but I am just able to copy them to my external SD card. However, CWM only finds backups on the internal SD card.
My question now is: How can I make CWM to look for backups on the external card or else: Is it possible to move to backups to the internal card (Keep in mind: I'm unable to boot).
I didn't find related issues on the board, so any help is appreciated!
Regards,
Manuel
i dont have the answer to your question but i'll share my similar experience of trying to flash cm rom. After unsuccesfully flashing cm rom (device wont boot anymore) i've downloaded a stock rom on my pc and flash it thru odin (entering downloading mode HOME + VOL- + POWER ).Once the device came back to life i just go on and continued experiencing
Hi Guys,
I'm sorry, I really did not want to bother you. However, I solved the problem by myself. The hint that helped me out can be found on androidforums.com.
I did not know that you are able to connect your pc to your phone (as a mass storage device) from CWM Recovery itself (see linked post). After copying the backup to my internal storage via USB, I was able to restore it using CWM Recovery.
Nevertheless, thanks for all the other useful tipps on this forum, I'm so glad to have my phone back! Amazing...
Greets,
Manuel
PS: I'm not yet allowed to post links here, but the post mentioned can be found on androidforums.com under "> Android Phones > Samsung Galaxy S2 > Galaxy S2 - All Things Root > Semi Bricked Help!" Post #9: "Boot into recovery, connect to the PC via USB, go to "mounts and storage" and select "mount USB storage"." After that your device is recognized by your os as a mass storage device.
Boot into CWM, Mount & Storage, Mount USBStorage, plug phone into PC, copy files to internal SD, unplug, flash, voila.
edit: seems im too late x)
Late or not, thanks a lot, mate! ;-)
You see, I'm happy...
BTW: Can I edit the title to prepend a [SOLVED´]?
now that you are back on the road i can reccomand you a CyMode rom tested by me and is the fastest and simplest rom ,worth trying without warrying :

Hi,
I have a similar problem but mine isn't solved - not realising the SGS2 has internal SD storage I've stupidly managed to do a nandroid backup and then format the internal SD. Have tried to mount the storage as mentioned above but the PC doesn't see the internal SD.
Help!!

Hi all,
I bought a Proscan PTL7035-PL (preloaded with Android ICS 4.04) last Christmas. I rooted with a great success and have it running a full-fledged Google Play store. The only drawback is that all apps go to the internal sd which has only 2gb of storage space. I tried a couple of ways swapping the internal and external sds. None of them has worked. Then I followed one from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1991583. Basically by modifying the mount point of the internal flash and external sd as described in the file vold.fstab , the hope was to make the system use the big sd storage for apps and data storage etc.
Here is where my nightmare began. After reboot, my tablet stuck at the android logo and the booting never finished. I kind of know that my mounting points messed things up. The fix can be as easy as just restore the backup copy of vold.fstab which I have on the tablet. The problems are that:
1) There is no way to access the system folder of the android device now as the device itself cannot finish booting; and it can't communicate with a PC via USB.
2) Even if I can force it boot into the Android System Recovery 3e, it is not much a help as it needs a certified ROM or backup copy to recover. The official ROM is not out yet and I don't have a backup copy.
It looks like my device has been soft bricked. So how to pull it out?
Anyone ever solve this?

Long story short, similar issue. Has Rooted my 9 year olds Tablet, (Same as Op), and actually had it running great. Well, I was installing Gapps, via root explorer, and my Son was talking, and I forgot to Mount the System Folder that I was Replacing with the gapps one, R/W - it stayed R/O and never got replaced.
Thus the other 2 folders I changed to R/W are stuck that way. I think it was the entire Root Folder, and One more. I can elaborate.
Is there a way to fix this, as the tablet will not boot properly. (Hangs on Splash Screen), then if I attempt recovery, it gets stuck at the Android with the Red Triangle coming out of his belly, but no Menu Choices.
Anyone?
So, My little cousin is bummed out because his tablet doesnt have enough internal storage
to download a game he really wants.... I felt bad for him and decided to see if there was a way
to swap internal and external storage. well ... I found one, basically I rooted it and swapped out
the internal and external by txt editor in system files. Of course it wasnt that easy and now it
wont boot past the hisense smart screen. I tried to recover and reset to no avail. Does anyone
have any advice on reversing it ive been looking for hours .

Hi, this is probably a noob question but anyway. So i installed a custom rom in my phone when i noticed that the storage space was low, i searched through many forums and couldn't find anithyng related, only an app that shows the complete space of all of the partitions called DiskInfo, it shows an unmounted partition called fat and the only way to access to it is connecting the device to a pc in usb mass storage mode in TWRP. is there any way to mount it or make it usable for the phone?.
When i access to settings and storage only shows the internal storage and nothing else. Can't attach images because new user sorry.
Thanks in advance and sorry for the bad english.

INCREASE YOUR ANDROID INTERNAL MEMORY || BY MOUNTS2SD (BEST WAY) in androcustomroms. Google it. It worked for my ZTE Blade L3 4.4.2 stock rom. Try it. Link2sd did't work for me.
EDIT: if you still can't, use Apps2sd. It works better for me.
