Hi guys,
I'm currently using a Korean branded LTE-A phone - Pantec Secret Note A890s
To get 4g reception with Australia's Virgin Mobile, I must have access to APN > MVNO settings and change it to IMSI. However there is no MVNO setting on this device (it's running Android 4.2.2

I Have just bought unlocked Samsung i9100, it does work on wifi, but when am not at home, it doesn't connect to the internet.
Are you using ATT? If you are you have to change the apn settings. The apn has to be set to wap.Cingular
You can find this in settings, wireless, mobile networks, access point names.
Sent from my Galaxy SII running Dlev Rom2 version 1.1

I have Samsung SII HD LTE SHV-E120L. 3G and 4G recently launched in Pakistan and not available in whole country. When I connect to network only GPRS service is detected and No EDGE service at all. I try with default Android OS I.e 4.1.2 after I flashed with Hellkat 4.4.2, but EDGE problem is still there.
In Network APN settings I only found three options
I. LTE
ii. eHRPD
III. unspecified
GPRS is very slow. I wanted to use EDGE till the 3G coverage.
Please Help!

Hey everyone
I have the Canadian variant of the LG G5 (the H831) and I have no LTE option in network mode.
I bought this phone from WIND Mobile (now Freedom Mobile) and it seems like they Disabled the LTE functionality for some reason.
I was wondering if there is a way to enabled it?
I inserted my SIM in my friends phone (same model but with Rogers Wireless) and the phone downloaded the APN settings from Freedom Mobile.
That did not work at all and the phone was stuck on 3G just like my phone.
I heard if I install the firmware from another provider, it might work. However it seems the APN settings from my provider are causing the LTE option to disappear from network mode.
Lastly, I accessed the service menu by dialing a code in the dialer and I was able to enable LTE.
However, I was not able to make and receive phone calls.
Did anyone here have success enabling LTE with this model or similar?
suggestions are greatly appreciated!
I have been having difficulty with data roaming on stock Android 7.0 (RS98821d) on the LG G5 RS988 USA Unlocked device.
Using a T-Mobile USA SIM, I am able to use the the local T-Mobile USA network in the country of United States, but when roaming to another country and a foreign network, data no longer works correctly. Data often does not work at all until I go to the APN settings (Settings ->More -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names) and use the "Restore default settings" option. After a period I have to repeat the APN reset to get data roaming working.
Have others experienced this or similar issues?
Back in June I had similar issues in France. I have T-Mobile and the RS988. When I first got there I was using the fast.t-mobile.com APN and couldn't connect. I switched over to the epc.t-mobile.com APN and everything started working just fine. For the network mode I was using the LTE/GSM/UMTS setting. Hope this helps.
It seems that "epc.t-mobile.com" is supposed to be the T-Mobile USA non-LTE access point. I shall try to remember to try the "epc.t-mobile.com" APN next time while roaming internationally. However, after testing the "epc.t-mobile.com" access point, LTE can be used with it and it works well.
