Hello guys,
I wanted to create a thread about what controls work with the keyboard while playing GTA San Andreas currently I figured out how to walk(lol) those controls are WASD but I just can't figure out how to enter a vehicle is there a button mapping for that? or do I have to touch the screen for that?
thanks,
noahvt
Tincore keymapper allow you to do so but is not perfect.

So I have an asus transformer with revolver rom and bladez kernel. 3rd party xbox 360 gamestop controller.
I mapped all the buttons and joysticks with usb/bt joystick center. Everything works perfectly with shadow gun and other apps.
In N64oid I map the keys perfectly with no issues. When i start any game the controller does not work. Wierd thing is if I map letters to the buttons then when i use those buttons nothing happens until i quit a game. Then on the game select/folder browser screen i can see all the keys that where pressed by the buttons typed at the bottom like a search.
I have tried many different button combinations for the controller and several different N64oid versions with different kernels as well. The controller works fine without usb/bt joystick center but then the triggers and right joystick do not work, I would like to map the c buttons to the rigt joystick.
Please someone has had to had this issue before me and how do you fix it? Or is there another way for my to get my right analog stick to work?
Thanks alot guys
same happens to me, without the center i can play good with controller and wire, but with the center app nothing happens in the emulator.
has anyone figured out how to solve that problem?
Bump
Since the 4.2 update this app no longer works with bt.
Is there any app where I can map keys on keyboard act like gamepad, I mean I press for example T and my phone will act like I press circle on gamepad, I would like to play Virtua tennis, and it work with ps3 gamepad, and I want to use my pc keyboard to play Virtua tennis, sorry for my bad english
Is it possible to map the minecraft touch controls to the ps3 controller maybe use experia play mappings since its the same layout idk? Thanks
I generally prefer a Keyboard and mouse as the controls for any kind of game I play.. So i decided to test out all the games I had installed on my phone with the keyboard and trackpad of my Atrix Lapdock
All tests were done in HDMI mirroring mode and on 2.3.5 hybid rom by peetr..
Here are the games which I found to be playable..
1. AirAttack HD. - Doesnt support keyboard input but you can drag around the plane with the trackpad
2. Amazing Alex - Can play with mouse just like you would a desktop version
3. Another world - all movements have keyboard bindings, tap with mouse click to shoot
4. Dragon,fly! - <enter> simulates screen press
5. GTA III - Almost everything works perfectly. Movement with arrow keys and actions with number keys. The aiming is a bit of a problem, you have to hold down the mouse button and drag the mouse. Very simple with an external mouse but problematic with a stiff trackpad button
6. Shine Runner - Ingame controls work perfectly with arrow keys. Menu has to be navigated with mouse.
7. Ski Safari - You can use clickpad as screen touch
8. Sleepy jack - everything works perfectly.. menu,game all of it. This prompted me to test this dev's other games, cordy and cordy sky and they too worked flawlessly with keyboard input
9. Sonic Ep2 - arrow keys for movement, 1 for jump. Have to navigate menu with mouse
10. Tetris by EA - arrow keys work just fine
11. Zen pinball - ctrl and shift for paddles. enter for ball launch.
These are the games i found completely playable of the ones I have installed. Some others worked but only partially, one of the essential functions didnt work, for eg, in sprinkle, arrow keys controls the water nozzle perfectly but there's no key to spray the water and it doesnt recongise mouse click as touch either so you cant press the onscreen button
If any of you test any other games and find them playable do post here, esp some nice racing or space sim.. I'm looking for a nice one..
I also had a question whil testing these games, If anyone could answer it, that'd be great. Don't any games support proper hdmi out. As in the phone screen should go blank(or just how controls) and the game is output on full res of the display out. All the games I tested just mirror the game screen and upscale the resolution on lapdock screen. Don't any of them work like the video players, ie phone screen goes blank and video showed on lapdock screen at full res instead of upscaling..
Hello everyone. I was able to connect my PS3 controller to my tablet without the use of any apps or rooting. I use the Mupen64 emulator and wanted to have the right joystick act as the C Stick but it seems it isn't reading the right analog stick. I've also tried it with N64oid and that too doesn't work. So what is the deal?

I was was having the same prob and searched everywhere. Then I finally realized that the best thing to do was use a combination of the sixaxis app's touch emulation and mapping most of the buttons with N64oid (works better than Mupen64). So here is my configuration:
*Note - I took a screenshot of Mario Kart 64 right before the spinning Nintendo logo with the virtual buttons on since the screen is black, and is easier to map onscreen virtual buttons*
N64oid (ps3 buttons on the left, n64 buttons on the right):
Square = B
Cross = A
L1 = L
R1 = R
L2= Z Trigger
Start = Start
D-pad on ps3 is mapped to match n64 D-pad
Sixaxis app touch emulation I used to map N64oid's onscreen analog stick to the PS3's left analog stick (you MUST edit this button and check Relative Touch, or the analog stick will not work!), and I also mapped N64oid's onscreen C-Stick to the PS3's right analog stick. In N64oid, there is a section to hide the controls in the Virtual Keypad settings (after I did all the button mappings), and I checked all the boxes, so I would not see any virtual buttons during gameplay
I hope this helps. I did save my sixaxis profile, so if you need it, let me know
