[Q] can anyone please help me to recover my GTi9100 - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm having Samsung galaxy S2 and it was installed with Slimkat.
I have seen there was a latest version released in slimkat so that i download and went to recovery. i usually backup before upgrading i tried to backup with default TWRP recovery but it doesn't backup my ROM it went to finish in quick time.
I found there is a APP call TWRP with that we can able to backup and restore i just click backup in that and my phone went to recovery and stucks in to "Running OpenRecoveryScript".
Even i tried to install twrp kernel using ODIN but it doesn't work it "Stuck at NAND Write Start"
So i don;t know what to do it is about 9 hours and still my phone is up and showing the same msg "Running OpenRecoveryScript".
I have restarted several times it went automatically to Recovery and shoe the same screen "Running OpenRecoveryScript"
Could anyone please help me on this/:crying:

Hey man. Did you tried another USB Port with Odin? Have you tried to use an older Version of Odin? (Try it with version 1.3 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1713739 ) with that what this guy is saying : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44035647&postcount=63 Hope I could help you .

[Q] TWRP bootloop

While I did find a similar posts, they were for different devices. I also tryed to search o different sites for similar problems to no avial.
What Happened: After backing up system data and app data then removing Foxhound ROM with factory reset, and installing UltimaROM i came to find that the modem did not install correctly result in no connection to my cell network. I booted into TWRP recovery to try and do a re-install of the ROM only to find that TWRP was restarting itself every 3 seconds or so. I attempted to restart the device which i found to result in a TWRP bootloop that i cannot get out of, it constantly is booting into recovery mode and i cannot get it restart the OS.
What I've tried: Since i can get into download mode i decided to attempt to re-install TWRP using Samsung Galaxy S3 Toolkit but since i do not have USB debugging on i cannot do that. I'm mainly looking for a fix before i go and claim it on the warranty saying update went bad or something. If people need more information I will try to provide it as best i can.
Summery if i confused people is that TWRP is in a bootloop, i am unable to get to the OS, but i still have download mode available.
I fixed it but not how I would have liked to. I ended up losing all data due to flashing stock ROM using ODIN. I would still much appreciate a alternative method that does not involve loss of data though just for future reference, that is if anyone knows a alternative method.

could've tried reflashing TWRP or any other recovery through odin
I have an LG Optimus Q (LGL55c) with twrp loop. I was trying to go back to stock rom, instead I deleted all the system files in twrp when it was working...Then I rebooted back into recovery and get the loop. Does this mean I completely bricked my phone? I tried using adb, adb shell doesn't work. It does find the device. Even tried the LG update with no sucess Any ideas or suggestions?
I just read the forum title, I thought this was for the Optimus Q not the Samsung S3. Sorry mods
Temasek unofficial cm12 5.02
I was running this rom when my power button shorted and I got it replaced but then I tried to do a complete wipe and clean flash but since then it has been twrp bootlooping, tried to flash the latest recovery through Odin but still doesn't work also tried stock firmware flash but says binary not available.
This is my secondary device and I've not been in touch with Odin for a while. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Download latest firnware from sammobile.com and flash it with Odin, as described on sammobile: does Odin finish with '1 succeeded'?
I'm in a very similar situation, but with my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (N7105). It's rooted, and I am, or was using TWRP 2.7.0.2. ROM is CyanogenMod 12, 5.0.2 Lollipop.
I did a factory reset from INSIDE Android, and chose to wipe internal memory. Phone did the reset and wipe, rebooted into TWRP instead of Android, and now I have TWRP boot loop.
I posted more about it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60247503&postcount=3671
I have the Problem toooo!
What must i do Now!
with my S3 is the same!!!
For posterity:
With an old (2014?) version of TWRP and a custom ROM, I tried reverting to factory settings. That caused the phone to reboot TWRP, and the screen would flash every couple of seconds. I flashed a stock recovery image I found on Google, and when it restarted again, the wipe was completed successfully. My intention was to wipe all user data anyways so I can't say if this method might save it.

[Q] Screwed my phone - only have "download custom rom" screen

I'm new here and im only here because i destroyd my S3 software.
i was using cmd 10.1 on my rooted phone but i thought i would try to downgrade it to cmd 9.1
without further thinking (stupid me) i downloaded the 9.1 update from the setting - about phone - etc.
when i then restarted my phone was stuck at bootlogo screen. when i then tried restart to clockworkmod i came right to "dowload custom rom" screen.
i have tried to install a stock rom with odin without any luck and also, by using odin, installed a pit. file. when i now have installed a stock rom i get the normal stock rom boot loader screen but are stuck at that point.
i have also tried to install clockworkmod with odin. just came to the "download custom rom" screen.
Can anyone help me or is my phone totaly broken? :'(

[Q] System Crash

Hello Guys...
I was trying to install BotBrew on my samsung Galaxy S3 and it didn't work. While i was unistalling the app the phone crashed and now the system looks dead.
I entered recovery mode (TWRP) and i can access about everything, but there aren't no more files under directory like "system" and "data".
I tried connect odin by the recovery with the option "mount usb drive" but odin doesn't find the phone.
What can i do now?
My phone settings:
JellyBean 4.2 Stock, ROOTED
Stock Kernel
TWRP v2.4.4.0
Do you have I9300 ??
Restore your Nandriod backup as first option .

The problem is that i don't have a nandroid backup, i lost it with the PC formatting and forgot to make another one :crying:
Can you enter in Download Mode using 3 buttons combo?
If yes, connect to odin and flash a stock firmware
Yes i could.
But anyway i installed Cyanogenmod with the recovery and it works...
I don't know why i didn't remember that odin need the "Download Mode" and not the Recovery, well I'm a noob!
Thank you anyway guys!
EDIT:
It's gone again...
I set it in Donwload Mode and flash the official rom to get it back. ANd now it doesn't boot, keep on screen "Samsung".
yes, you need to do a factory reset from recovery for it to boot

Galaxy Tab S3 stuck in Bootloop, gues I need Android 9 Backup File :(

Hi all,
I sadly followed an outdated Flash Manual on my S3 running Android 9 (used a Manual for 8). I succesfully installed TWRP and still have a working ODIN connection. Installing a clean Original Rom does not work though. Always aborts with an error message. My TWRP Backup Image seems to be corrupt also. It installs it back then my Tablet even starts but says it has to be restarted with default settings and when i do so it gets stuck in the bootloop again.
So my big hope is someone here can help me out with an Android 9 stock or maybe any other backup from TWRP to maybe get it back to the old state. Thanks in advance.
I do have a stock 9 for T825 in several parts directly from sammobile.
Would you mind writing which device you've got?
Which TWRP do you use.
Which Odin Version did you try it with?
Which original ROM did you try it with (where from, version aso) and why do you think another one would do the trick?
A backup from another device would'nt help afaik.
