Hello everyone,
Can anyone recommend to me a best quality screen protector against drop cracks for the Front Screen only ?
is Extreme Guard very reliable ?
Note: Im also using an armor case with bumper but I need a triple protection because the front screen is very fragile that even a single tiny hairline cracks can cause the touch screen digitizer to be unresponsive.

Do anyone use a plastic camera protector?
The screen it is made of gorilla glass, difficult to scratch, and even with that a lot of people uses film protectors, but the camera? It is a plastic and easily scratchable, so, anyone have tried to use a protector?
And do that add some kind of blurryness to the photos?
Im not completely sure about this but wouldnt putting a protector over the lens cover distort the image?

You can buy MartinFields screen protector...they all come with little bits for camera and flash also...and they are way better than any other screen protectors on the market...I have been using them for years on all my phones and tablet.

I thought the camera was the same glass used on the front. It certainly doesn't feel like plastic comparing my SGS2 with my Desire.
Hi guys, just want to ask you all here.. Has anybody managed to scratch the stock antishatter sheet with finger/pencil which causes some fine lines on the screen? I haven't because i used additional matte screen guard on top of it for now.. So wondering how easy it was to be scratched. Not talking about the back side, only the front one.
I've heard some local reviews which applies Liquid Crystal protector above it and the end result was quite good.. But due to my previous experience with RAZR Maxx, i still have some doubts over it.. So does anybody have same experience?
(Sorry in Indonesian language bahasa, but he was using a Liquid Crystal screen guard and the end result was quite good)

The protector itself is quite good. But it has this anti-fingerprint coating on the protector that scratches off easily. Thats probably what you've seen. Using a screen protector on top of the sony stock one is very highly recommended !!
Yes, the shatter proof film is veryvery easy to scratch. Mine had hairline scratches by just wiping with microfiber cloth.

hello everyone,
I notice that the touch screen of Optimus G is super sensitive that even a single hairline cracks can cause its touch screen glass digitizer to be unresponsive.
Does placing a " tempered glass on top of touch screen a 100 % effective prevention against hair line cracks of the touch screen ?
Note: Tempered glass is like a generic Gorilla glass that serves as a first line of defence against crack glass incidents such as accidental drops. it is not the same as a commercial thin screen protector strip.

Do we have that kind of screen protector for our phone? I've seen one for other popular phones like iPhone or Galaxy, but not for us.
Just my 2 cents,
Nexus 4 is a variant of LG optimus g e970 and they have premium tempered glass (maybe it will fit in our device) otherwise we could only settle for generic brands.

I've just bought a nilkin tempered glass screen cover for my z2. I'm currently using the standard screen protector which came with the phone. Which has in its own right held out well and been the best screen protector I've had on a phone.
Opinions?.. Leave the standard one on until it gets a major scratch etc on it, or put the tempered nilkin glass on?

Ive left my phone in my poket with my keys quite alot and its fine
Front isnt bad nor too hard to protect, the screen protector that comes with Z2 is there to stop the surface from being damaged , its not super amazing but it does its job
The back glass scratches super easy so you may want to find a screen protector for the back
Simple words:
Front is fine, light screen protector will do
Back is super easy to scratch, recomend any protector
I have standard protector on front and one on back too. I also have it in the Sony scr10 flip case.
Gives good protection for front and back whilst in pocket, especially at work!
I've thought about getting a different case (non flip) hence extra protection for front with tempered glass?

Hi Guys,
Any one has idea about where can I buy Front AND Back Tempered Glass Protector
I am egarly waiting for it.
Thanks & Regards.:good:
i bought it from an accessories store in my country. you can buy one from amazon, ebay, etc
if it's not high quality i don't recommend it as it will cause some weird feedback from the touch panel because of the dirt, fingerprints, fluids .. etc "result from my experience with my current bad screen protector"
so i do recommend getting a high quality Tempered glass screen protector with oleophobic coating
You don't need for back only buy for front side
You can get them for like 8 to 10$
Or on aliexpress.com for 2 to 5 $
sent from either my xperia Z2 or teclast x98 air 3g using TAPALK!!!
I ordered this from aliexpress

Has anyone experience with broken tempered glass instead of the screen? I broke my screen 2 weeks after i got my z2. (It fell from about 30cm to a carpet xD) Touch didn't work anymore, cause of a little crack.
Now i am using tempered glass, and i hope it would prevent the screen from a damage
I have tried 2 different brands of glass screen protectors. Both of them interfered with my proximity sensor. So now I don't use one at all.

I had tempered glass on both back and front cause I never use any cases. I dropped my phone from about 9 Feet (From the first floor), the top right edge hit the ground and the then the it spun and landed face down. To my surprise only the tempered glass broke, So glad I invested in one.
The only damage is that the top right corner is scratched like crazy and because of the sheer force of impact the metal frame has deformed a little near the micro SD card.
Is there any such thing as a tempered screen with oleophobic coating and also covering the camera? My camera's outer glass is so damaged (there are bubbly deformations on it) that it can not focus properly sometimes.
Google Rhinoshield by evolution labs. They have tempered glass protectors for both front and back.

I need for the back cause it scratches easily because when I put down my phone then I put it on the back side of the phone. Now I use a screen protector just on the back side
