Hi all,
I am using custom Kitkat Nightly CM11 rom in my SG3.
I am using it for a month now and keep updating as its gives OTA update daily.
Initially it ran really well ..but since the last few OTA updates i am facing issues like laggy inteface.
Contact crashing, Cam app crashing. evry after todays update in only get to hear Sheep ringtones.
Its really frustrating now . I like the CM11 rom but Nightly is really anoying me now.
Kindly let me know if i can get a bug free custom rom with minimal phuss of daily updates.
Kindly help people:crying::crying:
Also let me know a kernel which suits the custom rom for overclocking my SG3.

"Best" or "Recommend" ROM/kernel threads are not allowed on XDA.
Please test these things for yourself.
This is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion,and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.
Don't forget to make a nandroid before you start.

I have installed latest rom v2.4 and its good But whenever i miss calls on my mobile and my phone has 2 missed calls then my phone just keeps rebooting i have tried using different kernels , megawipe but still didnt got any solution and battery backup is also not going very well for me on this rom its lasts for 7-8 hours

2. As the previous poster said, 'best rom' threads aren't really permitted on XDA, it's just a matter of doing your research and finding a suitable rom which contains the features you require. Take a look in the android development sections and look through all the changelogs and features

i just wanted to ask as the title said "stable custom ROM" can anyone provide me a link, i am finding a rom for daily usage that battery will last a day or two..

There are many stable custom ROMS. Pretty much all custom ROMS except CyanogenMod are stable here. Head over to development section to find them

SGS3 awesome rom
Seems like a sneaky way to create a "best ROM thread", which aren't really liked here on XDA.
Search is your friend, just take a look in the android development sections of your device forum, (don't post this there...) and find a ROM which has your desired features, read a few recent posts and make your decision then.

This one. Threads like this are forbidden here (Try a bunch of roms out until you find one that suits your needs like the rest of us).
i didn't ask who is the best i want just some suggestion ... it's a difference

Check out the development forum and have a read through all the 4.2.2 roms that are available or even the 4.3 roms. Have a read of each thread and you'll get an idea of what the users of that particular rom think about it.
Trial and error is the best way until you find the one that suits you.

I want the best LIGHTWEIGHT rom and kernel combination that will make my battery last LONG!

No best roms or kernels thread allowed in this forum. Try them out urself. Will be pm-ing a mod to close this thread.
