This is a self compiled and working driver of KY-RD9700 USB Ethernet for Galaxy Tab 3 10.1
Info
I made this because i have bought this ethernet micro usb adapter (DX Link) and Galaxy Tab don't have native support for this.
This is compiled with 3.4.34 Kernel and x86 (i386) (May not work on other kernels but if you need i can compile for you)
Network speed is limited to 6 Mbps (Because USB 1.0???)
Thanks to
sylentprofet: For Builduntu.
Curious!: For source code of drivers
I spent some time in make this possible, if you can give me a coffee, i really appreciate you.
How Use:
Download and put on you SD Card.
*** You Need ROOT *** copy .ko module to /lib/modules
On Terminal exec: insmod qf9700.ko
Ready!! Now you can use dhcp or use other market apps to get ip
Download:
Here or on bottom of post.
Gonna test this !
Btw, do I need Ubuntu and the USB stick ?

Now, can you compile this for me http://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=r8187 ?
Also, what steps did you take with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2585828 to get the proper modules?

okay, i am going to suggest you re-read the thread. this module needs to be built into your kernel, more likely
built from the source along with the kernel. the OP clearly states to contact him for help with adding to/building into
your kernel. the OP also say this is for stock JB for gt-p5210. the OP also responds with a should be/maybe in reponse to your question as to whether this will work with YOUR device. taz posted links in his post that you should follow and read
to learn about the process of how things work. put this on hold [re-read thread of course] and start your learning
process on kernel building. as long as you're patient you will learn.

I would appreciate you to send information from your tablet (screenshot) where there is the version of Kernel, compilation, etc..

Many thanks for this!

Yeah, that's what I thought... I tried to fix this problem, but I still can't get it working there... I googled it, and found that the error is in the wpa_supplicant file, I changed the file with some I found on the internet, but I think that for it works, it must be the original file changed. Do you have any idea of how to do that? It's really bad not to connect in university's wifi, since I am there all day...

Hey Guys,
I've been working on a project that requires me to connect an arduino to my prime. I've been searching around and have had no luck finding a kernel thats been compiled with the FTDI drivers. I'm not quite savvy enough to do it on my own, so I'm reaching out to you guys to find out if you know of any kernel's for our prime with this driver enabled? Or maybe some enterprising dev on here would like to help me make one.
Thanks for reading.

Possibly I'm trying to find the doc I found a few days ago. http://www.ftdichip.com/Android.htm has some info.
I did find a pdf that described how to add to an android kernel. Most of the info I've found revolves around just creating an application. I'm looking to have access to the device in a chroot environment, which means I really need kernel support.

I have a dev environment on my laptop(eclipse, adb, github, etc), but I'm not sure its going to be very good for compiling a kernel. late 2011 Macbook air. Last time I tried to compile cm10 I think it tied up a machine for several days (It was for my old nexus S). I really can't afford to do that with this laptop.
I am a dev of sorts, just not an android one. I'm not afraid of command line. Just need some help getting pushed in the right direction. Thnks for the help Josh.

Well this is definitely where I get stuck. Maybe I need to switch to a different rom. He mentions the kernel source in his thread here
He says:
It is the same as the TF700 source but with some changes in ramdisk for TF201.
https://github.com/Hundsbuah/tf700t_10_6_1_14_4
But I have no idea what the changes are and whether they are included within this kernel source that he has linked too.
Am I just looking in the wrong place?

FTDI Kernel Installed
Just a quick update to this thread if anyone has been watching. The Crombi-KK Team put together a kernel for me with the FTDI drivers installed. I've since managed to get communication going over serial with and arduino.
I would highly recommend reaching out to Josh and the Crombi-kk team if you have a similar request. As they already have a kernel compiled and ready to go.

bluetooth is not yet functioning.
My main interest in this excercise was to assemble working/workable sources to get development moving
for this device.
As of getting the recovery functioning correctly, all required is assembled to help any actual owner of this
device to begin taking it foward.
I will limit my effort in this to getting the bluetooth issue resolved,
and possibly getting dtv functions working.
Thank you @Erus Tyrannus for inquiring about recovery initially and testing this build and provding feedback to date.

That's snapdragon, right? I'm pretty sure the Verizon build should work, but no guarantees.
Testing would be helpful, though. You have a backup of your boot.img?

Hmm... noblelte is Note 5, not Note 4. Are you running a Note 5 ROM by any chance?

Actually Note 7 port, edited build.prop to make it look like Note 5 to Samsung so that it won't get disabled over the air by them.
So shall I edit build.prop to make it support my device and test it?
What should I change it into?

Do you know the original device code for your device? Should start with "trlte".
If you don't know it, put "trltevzw" (that's the one for SM-N910V).

Let's see if anyone make port it to G variant, Samsung should have only one like others. Well, if nobody will be able to, I'll definitely start to port it from 23rd of March.

Please install the attached debug version, and try again. If it still fails, send me a logcat.

So far, so good.
Which company had built your wireless card (Intel, Qualcomm Atheros, Broadcom, Realtek, Ralink, etc.)?

Can you please check with AIDA64, CPU-Z, or an equivelant app?
I have a suspicion that the drivers in the official version aren't functinal, and that the drivers in the unofficial version are subpar, which is to be expected with Realtek.

This is probably due to missing drivers.
My recommendation is trying out Phoenix OS, or trying to find drivers for the MT7630E which are built for version 4.4.x of the Linux kernel (if you decide to go this route, you may need to compile the drivers yourself).

English please.
I'd love to help you out, however this is an english speaking forum, and it is required according to the rules to post here in english.
Additionally, I do not understand what you wrote, nor in what language, merely due to the fact that I do not understand any latin-based languages other than english (a few words in esperanto do not count).
