[Q] Keyboard backlight problem - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi:
I bought a Zopo Zp990+ last week.
Today, I have found a problem with keyboard backlight, it's always on, when the screen is on, when the phone is in repose mode and when the phone is shut down!!. Only the light is off when I unplugged the battery. I have just restored the mobile to official firm and it's the same.
I have calibrated the proximity sensor yesterday, Is possible that I have calibrated it wrong?
Could you help me?

This might be a hardware problem, so I can suggest that you go to where you bought it from and tell them the problem

[Q] Screen flashing in standby mode

I've recently acquired a S2, with Stock 2.3.3 Rom.
I've encountered a strange problem: when the phone goes in standby mode (the lock screen appears), the screen turns off but immediately turns on again. Then it goes off, on again etc. So, basically, the phone cannot go to deep sleep and my battery drains very fast (and, the screen just keeps on flashing).
When the phone is plugged in mains power, the screen stays lit, it looks like it is just in standby mode.
It looks like there is some sensor stuck which re-awakens the phone constantly. There are no apps runnning, just a factory-clean phone. I've tried looking at sensor data to identify the problem, but have no idea what they should look like.
Does anyone have any idea how to proceed? Is there any way to force the phone in standby (or, force the screen to off)? Or can I identify what event is responsible for waking my phone all the time?
I have a similar problem with my HTC HD2 (both with normal and Android hack)
Anyone have a solution?
if you are not rooted maybe try going into recovery wipe everything and get the phone back to factory settings..before you do that of course back up your rom..see what happens..or maybe can you try and upgrade firmware either through kies or try an official stock rom based on your region through Intratechs thread and update using odin and see if that helps solve the problem?
or just call your local samsung customer care explain what the problem is and send it either for repairs or for an exchange
Had the same problem, Flashed intratech's stock Based on my region solved the problem.
I have a friend of mine having this issue, maybe he should try the same. Thanks msac =)

Zopo C2 Battery Problem

I bought a Zopo C2 today and then rooted it. Everything was perfect and nothing seemed wrong. But then when I put it on the charger, it said charging but battery percentage stayed the same. So I decided to reboot my phone. When I rebooted it, it stopped turning on. Whenever I hold the on button, a screen flashes that has a battery picture, some chinese and says Low Battery ---> Power Off and the phone doesn't turn on. I have tried charging heaps but when I charge it, the red light doesn't turn on either and the same thing happens whenever I try to turn phone on. I don't know if this is a battery problem and I should just get new battery or phone issue. I am really worried.. :crying: I just bought this today and it looked like a really good phone.
Somebody... any help pleaseee? :/

Not heard of this before. I'm guessing the backlights on the three silver menu buttons at the bottom of the screen don't light up either.
As a first step I'd just charge the battery for approx 12 hours/over night as after any storage the phone probably needs a good charge.
Given you have had the phone operational now for a while and probably a few charges, has the back-lighting now restored it's self??

Have you contacted a Sony rep? Now I'm a little bit weary about mine since I've never let it die, but I did come pretty close to 1-2% left before full cycling it. Still the best android tablet for me to date, although it's pretty hard to find it online again for a replacement if ever needed be.

Ah, that's what it seems from Sony cables. Don't know why they go bad so easily...
