I'm looking for a scrollable notes widget in which you can change the widget's colors (change color/transparency), that is compatible with android 2.3+ if using a 3rd party launcher that supports scrollable widgets.
I've literally tried dozens of them and finally settled for a widget I create using Zoom, but I don't plan on using it forever because there are many things Zoom/Tasker can't do (when it comes to widgets, at least).
The only scrollable notes widget I've found is Whiteboard, and I didn't like its scrolling system (you need to click on buttons to scroll, you can't scroll line by line, only by X characters or bullets [which may take several lines]).
I also found scrollable to do lists, but they're not made to be used as notes.
Is there such an app anywhere?
The Information Ticker on the TouchWiz lockscreen has News, Stock and Facebook tickers available for access on the lockscreen. I was wondering if its possible to have a Twitter ticker along the same lines. Twitter is a more natural ticker-friendly service than Facebook and I personally would love to use it.
I searched the forums for it but did not found such a feature as of now. Has anyone found something similar that I might have missed?
I realize I can use other lockscreen replacement apps like Widgetlocker etc. for my twitter needs but I find the way that the information ticker is designed to be both good looking and nice to use.
I'd also love this! Stock lockscreen is pretty, but limited, no default lockscreen media controls and no calendar option.

There is an app on the market called RSS Ticker (Free) which gets information from multiple sources (6 i believe) and provides a blank screen. Does not support twitter, yet could be developed one day :good:
What are the best music apps that allow for users to create custom widget themes? I make a lot of homescreen setups for mycolorscreen and I'd like to implement music widgets into my screens.
I'm using themer with my Nexus 5 and, when making thing within the "zooper themer" no problem.
When I try to add anything with Zooper Pro and save it, once i recall from the Themer browser the widget made with Zooper Pro are gone. I mean, they are there but blank.
May be I'm doing something wrong.
Any suggestons? Thx

Hi,
It's better to stick to using Themer Zooper widget when you want to reload a saved theme, as it's designed to reload correctly.
Is this what you mean?

So I have to assume that, if I want to design something in Themer, save it and later reload it, I have to use exclusively the Themer Zooper widget?
Indeed I tried with Zooper widget Pro as well as UCCW and the result is the same: once I reload my theme previously saved these widgets are reloaded blanks.
If so, this is a limit since there are a lot of nice widgets for ZW Pro and cannot be used with Themer (that is more simple and flexible vs other launchers IMHO).

Hi,
You saving the themes correctly right? As in going into the advanced settings - Export Theme. Sometimes a Zooper Widget Pro template will work, but essentially only Themer's built-in widgets will remain and function correctly (Themer RSS, Themer Dialer, Everything Widget, Themer Zooper Widget, etc.).
The good part is the Themer Zooper Widget and Zooper Widget Pro share the same template directory. This means if you save a theme in ZW Pro, even if you save a theme that comes from from the Play Store, it will show up in Themer Zooper's saved templates

Thx for the reply. You are right. It seems working perfeclty w built-in widgets only. The themes are saved correctly.
As far as the good part concerns: yes, they share the same directory but, you cant load a ZWP in Themer. Despite the composition of the widget has the same structure(text, bitmaps and so on) for same reason they dont load correctly. The same behaviour applies to UCCW.
I'll wait for a Themer w a ZWPro extension...
good

good work
Guys, this is really doing my head in. I downloaded Playlist Shortcuts for Spotify and I can create a shortcut to a Spotify Playlist on my regular homescreen (HTC Mate M9). However this phone is installed in my car and I run Automate Car Launcher.
Ive downloaded a bunch of different floating side bars and apps like Assistive Android/Touch Pro etc but there seems no way to add this kind of shortcut to them.
On my S7 Edge, using Edge TaskBar, you can add a homescreen short cut. But for the life I've me I can find nothing in the playstore that enables you to add a homescreen shortcut to it.
Is there any sneaky way to add a homescreen shortcut into the standard shortcut list in Android?
Or can I use Tasker to somehow make this shortcut look like an App?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks Kindly
