Hey, am in dire need of help. Was rooting and flashing new recovery and boot.
I accidentily flashed recovery.img to boot.
I quickly reflashed the boot to correct img, and recovery image to recovery, but I am now stuck in a boot loop.
using this link: https://docs.google.com/folderview?id=0B6WBFlAKqe30LXJ1UGZUM1p5aHM&tid=0B6WBFlAKqe30YnFxVHVHMFo1X0k
I got a stock boot.img and recovery.img and reflashed, but am still stuck in a boot loop.
Can someone please help me out, or at least post new boot.img and recovery.img?
I never did a backup as this is far from my first time installing custom roms. I used fastboot.

Hi all,
So I have an AT&T Atrix, was previously running 4.5.91 and I successfully unlocked the phone and had it booting. Like a total moron, I forgot to do a backup, and after attempting to flash CM7 onto it, the phone now stays at the boot logo and won't go any further. If anyone has anything they can do to help me, I would so appreciate it!
Thank you!!!
Edit: I know I need an SBF with pudding to go back to, but I'm having issues finding the proper one. If that's all I need to fix it, a link to the proper one would be appreciated.
Have you used one click recovery for unlocking, if yes then most probably the tenfar recovery that came with the one click root program is the culprit. Just flash rom racer recovery through fastboot http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1204500
If you want an easier option, run the one click root program and select the option which says install cwm recovery. After that boot back into recovery and flash twrp recovery from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1961707, after that reboot and flash the CM7 rom. You can also flash CWM touch recovery the same way as TWRP link to it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1475444
Thank you! This is exactly what I needed to know. It worked perfectly!
So I went to flash the Blackout Rom on my One X+ and forgot to flash the boot.img first. so my phone will not boot up. and when i boot into to flash the boot.img it says Battery too low for Flash. Can anyone help?
I can't even boot into recovery. Can someone please help?
I had this problem yesterday when i got my new phone. Flashed the rom but not the boot.img file. It bootlooped but as it turned off i pressed vol down and power and luckily it booted into the bootloader. If you can get into fastboot, flash the boot.img and then your phone should boot. Worked for me!
Good luck

You need to flash the boot.img from that Rom.
Boot the phone straight into bootloader then go to fastboot mode and flash the new boot.img from your computer.
Sent from my HTC One X+ using xda premium
Hi,
today I wanted to flash this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2249760 , but by mistake I flashed boot.img by clicking "flash system" on WinDroid HTC Desire X toolkit I think this is the reason why I can't install any rom on my device because it stuck on the black screen after white HTC. I wanted to flash stock system.img but I can't find it anywhere :crying: Can anybody help me?
Just flash that Rom through recovery then reboot to bootloader and type "fastboot flash boot boot.img" and flash the boot.img inside.

Recovery? If you have JB version you must have hboot 1.25, too; if you have 1.24 hboot install an ICS recovery.
And don't forget to wipe all.

I know this. I have 1.25 hboot, TWRP recovery 2.6, I wiped, flashed this rom, and then boot.img throught fastboot. And I still can't launch my phone. I also tried other roms but it's still the same. I don't have any backups. I don't know what to do:crying:

If first you try SuperWipe script and then reflash Rom and boot.img? If it's something releated to partitions..

Here is what you need.
Hi all
I am in big trouble. Please help me out.
I have HTC One X+ since last 1.5 years. It came with everything locked.
In order to install CyanogenMod i tried to root my HTC OneX+ and successfully did. The phone went back to factory settings.
After this, the real problem started. I downloaded a recovery.img and boot.img from somewhere over the net (I was careful but not sure if i downloaded the right one) and flashed it into my device. Afterwards, boom!!!!. My phone went into recovery loop and everything has been wiped out.
I am still able to fastboot it through my pc but nothing else.
Can anybody suggest what to do??
This is the right twrp recovery for the hox+:
http://dl.twrp.me/enrc2b/twrp-2.8.6.0-enrc2b.img
Download the rom you want to install and extract the boot.img from the zip.
In fastboot flash new recovery.Reboot into recovery and adb push rom's zip into your sd card.
Reboot in fastboot and flash boot.img.Reboot into recovery and flash rom.
Will try this and let you know. Thanks for the advise
If it doesn't work try to flash a working kernel first and then twrp recovery.

Because doing that will change the outcome.................Right?
It will make zero difference. The issue is the user.
As directed, i downloaded the twrp file and flashed it. Now the phone is getting into Recovery mode. Thanks!!
However, after that, i copied many compatible ROMs (Venom, Evagelincia, etc...), extracted their boot.img on my computer and flashed them one by one on my phone. Every time, the the process gets stuck. Each time i waited for 15-20 min for the boot to be flashed but nothing.
Did i miss something in between or i am not using the right boot.img?

cmd needs to have ADMINISTRATOR access for fastboot on windows or you need to use SUDO on linux
OF course i used CMD as ADMINISTRATOR
