I have had spigen neo hybrid on my note 3 since I got it and yesterday I decided to take it off and it's like holding a new phone all over again... I have the tempered glass still on it and I'm loving the slimness of the device here's to hoping I don't have any accidents

Used to, but I recently had a miniature heart attack when my oldest cat saw my phone as a lovely new toy and tossed it off the table..... Now it doesn't leave my new Otterbox Commuter.

It fell on the thick carpet, but the table is almost 1.30m high, so I rather panicked.
I was case-less for the first week when I first bought my phone. Three days in, the darned thing slipped out of my hand and hit my stone floor from about three feet high. All I can say is that the metallic side lip of the phone crumples like paper mache upon impact.
Haven't gone case-less for more than a few minutes at a time since then.
I like case free feel of phones but i dont want to hurt them.
I have always used a gel silicone case and all my phones felt pretty much the same.
I got the note 3 and use just just a bumper. It stops the sides from getting messed up and takes a small impact.
MY girl has a bumper and silicone case. She was switching between them and just ended up going a few days without the case. She likes it but was scared the side would get all messed up so put the bumper back on.
I had just got my note 3 and I was on a lookout for cases. Within a day i spilled drops of water and cold drink (thank goodness i had got screen protector earlier). Plus the big size of phone makes it easy to be slipped, so ordered the Samsung S-View case for it's quality and functionality.

That's not a quality case, just an expensive one. The similar one from spigen is much better.

Can't get spigen in India. Checked Ebay and Amazon and only quality product was OEM Samsung.
Also checked international shipping for spigen case, the cost was almost doubled and if chip goes bust, I'm skeptical they'll send a replacement chip internationally.
With Samsung I'll have peace in my mind:angel:
I go case free - I have most of the life of all my phones. I just can't stand how much thicker the Note 3 gets with a case - like holding a brick. It feels much better in my hands without a case. Yeah, I might regret it someday, but I get much more enjoyment out of a caseless Note 3. I tried, trust me I tried - I have sitting next to me a Spigen Neo Hybrid case. Yeah, it's a really good case and I didn't return it because I use it when I go out to places (like the LA Zoo, etc...). But the phone is just too thick with it on. Dangit, now I'm thinking about putting it on again after reading this thread.
I have been since I got my Demo Slick Wrap for the phone. I have never gone case free with any of my phones since the OG evo 4g, I usually buy a case the same day I get the phone.
I have had the wrap on for about two weeks now with no case and as mentioned its like having a brand new phone. The wrap is full body and (knock on wood) I have not had a drop as of yet but I keep in mind that I don't have a case on and try to take extra care when holding the phone.
I switch between case less and my spigen neo hybrid case

I've been case free since 2010 but I just couldn't do it for this device. Maybe the size, but also for resale because I might buy the Note 4 retail and sell this. But to be fair it's actually just a cover because the back replaces the backplate (s-view samsung faux leather case) so it's very minimal.
I couldn't do a big plastic/silicone case though.
These Slick Wraps and Cruzerlite wraps are great no case alternatives.

I have the Neo Hybrid, its nice but it does add a lot of bulk, and its not very comfy to hold in the hand. If you want slimness, the best best is to get a standard TPU case, like Diztronic or Spigen Slim Armor. Maybe even check to see if Casemate has a "Barely There" snap on hard cover.
I hope this helps.
Way tooo risky lol, I just stick with a bumper case
i am case free but looking at doing a case as I just dropped my phone for the 3rd time.. it is getting very battered up.. i have a chunk out of the case in the upper right (near front camera??), lower left and right... ughhhh...
looking at my phone now I think i see a crack about 1" to the left of the power button that goes from front to back...
I want a lifeproof but they dont make one and on ebay someone has "waterproof" but not submerge-able cases.. doing research now
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Waterpr...Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&var=&hash=item1c3eb86eea
side note is I do not want to have something that screws together as I now use a 64gb micro sd in my dslr, take pic, put into phone and go to facebook quickly now...
I run caseless with a zagg invisible shield. I use a Seideo holster to clip it to me
I keep my in a bumper case. I like it becuase it stays slim, but i don't want to drop this phone naked...

I am going to get a s4 soon, and I am wondering if I will need to get a case. Currently on the charge, and when I bought it I got the thicker case vzw offered. Within two weeks it was off, and I have used the phone naked ever since. I have dropped it countless times onto tile and concrete, and the only damage is a few scratches on the back cover and dents in the part of the bezel that extends past the screen (raised edge).
I have read that the s4 is quite fragile. Based on the above, should I get a case? If so, can I get the smallest one available, or should I opt for something bigger?

It's all going to be up to your personal preference. Based on what you said, I would highly recommend a case. The S4 is pretty damn fragile and it's just not worth the risk if you have a history of dropping your phone. As for the size of the case, that is going to be up to you. Obviously the smaller/minimal cases will offer less protection. I like as little bulk as possible so that's fine with me and I have the Spigen Neo Hybrid on my S4 right now. Also consider a screen protector (plastic, tempered glass, etc.). Costly purchases but worth the $250+ investment into your new phone imo. :good:
Dropped mine one time on flat tile from hip height and screen cracked and would not display an image.... Get a case.

I use a speck Candyshell and it doesn't add much bulk or weight to the phone at all, thats my recommendation. The smaller and light silicone cases just don't offer the kind of protection a hard case does. The Candyshells are on the more expensive side, but you can get them on Amazon cheaper than you can on Speck's website

How do you like that case? I have the white on order (as well as the glass screen protector) and was wondering if it looks as good as it does on Spigen's website.
If you're ever going to drop your phone than a case is a good idea.
If it doesn't offer protection to the four corners it's not worth it.
I saw a brand new GS4 dropped from waist height onto asphalt and it bent the metal rim around the screen and messed up the front facing camera.
The guy had a case on it, but it was a plastic sleeve with a stand that didn't cover the corners.
As far as screen protectors go I think they're a waste of money. The phone has gorilla glass. Unless you find yourself regularly working with materials that are actually hard enough to scratch the screen, it's just going to be another layer for glare and bubbling imperfections.
I had a Droid Charge for 2 years and only scratched it once, when I had some marble dust under my finger nail.
JIHAD MY BOI.
I currently have an Incipio DualPro Shine on my S4. Offers pretty decent protection without being stupid thick, like the otterbox.

Yeah I don't have any scratch problems and don't care about cosmetic damage. The main thing I'm worried about is functionality breaking, like screen shatter or sensor damage.

I have a screen protector and a casemate toughcase on mine. A week or so ago I dropped the phone onto concrete from thigh level. I was scared as all could be that it would be cracked cause it sound like it hit hard, and it hit bottom first. Nothing happened luckily. I was wondering about the protection quality of that case, so far so good. It's a two piece case, and can be had for around 20 something bucks on amazon. I recommend getting a case.
I use a combination of a screen protector with the Spigen Slim Armor series case. Phone fits in it like a glove and adds very little bulk. I've dropped it a few times and it's survived with no issues. The case is a double layered rubberized with a plastic cover for looks, and it looks very sleek. It's worth checking out for sure. They're also on sale on Amazon for $14.99 at the moment, add a screen protector (also on sale for 6.99 and comes with 2) and some other random item and you can get the free shipping on orders over $25. Leaving you a link for the case and protector.
NOTE: When I added the protector to my cart and went to check out I noticed it added a iPhone 5 protector even though I was on the GS4 page, I had to remove and add a few times before it correctly showed the GS4 protector. Just a FYI.
EDIT: Well I can't post links because I'm under 10 posts. Sorry, they're just a quick Google search away though!
Get a case. I love having my phone naked, especially with my S4 because of how slim and lightweight it is - but therein lies the problem. I use an Otterbox Commuter case at work. Previously - while the Otterbox cases are good quality - I have refused to use them due to the bulk they add. However the S4's Commuter Otterbox case is fairly slim for a rugged protection case, so I decided to give it a go. It's really not bulky. The Defender on the other hand it way too much bulk for my taste.
I work in a transportation hub - around extra hard concrete floors, moving belts and machinery, metal grating docks, etc. - basically a rough environment. The first day I got the phone I went without a case, but with how slim and lightweight it is all I kept thinking was "I'm gonna drop it, it's gonna break, I'm gonna drop it, it's gonna break". So after work, I went and grabbed the Otterbox from my local Verizon store. I use it at work, and when I get home to my nice, soft, carpeted environment - I immediately take the case off.
A little over 2 weeks after I got it, I woke up and rolled over to check the time on my phone. It slipped out of my hands, fell about a foot and a half, and as it fell it hit against the metal rail on my bed (the frame that your mattress sits on) and landed on my carpeted floor. Grabbed it thinking it would be perfectly fine - it was a very short fall, it landed on carpet, and just grazed the rail. Took a look at it and the frame around the front of the phone, the faux metal one, had a huge gouge in it. I was very disappointed by this, but figured it was a freak accident. About a week ago, I got the Samsung Wireless charging pad for my phone. Set it up next to my bed, and as I was testing it out, I lifted one end of the charging pad while the phone was still on it, creating a slope. The Samsung Wireless Charging Pad doesn't have much of a grip to it, so it slipped off and made that same 1 1/2 foot fall from my bed to my floor, again grazing the metal rail on the way down. Again, I have another gouge in it. While this is a metal rail, it does not have any "sharp" edges to it. The edge itself is rounded, so it's gentler on objects that it comes in contact with, and it is covered by a bedskirt, again, helping to soften the blow should anything hit it.
Having learning my lesson (kind of) with the same freak accident happening with my phone hitting my bed in just to right way during a foot and a half drop (I have never dropped any of my previous phones...from my bed), I am looking into lightweight Carbon Fiber Skins to hopefully add a small layer of protection and sadly, I am resorting to also wrapping the bed frame in foam because I am stubborn and still refuse to use a case when I am not at work.
The point of this long drawn out story is that in my experience - as beautiful as this phone is, and as much of a shame as it is - I highly recommend a case of some sort. Unless you want to be like me and start padding the environment around you. The phone does not seem to handle falls well, even over short distances.

As an additional note, you don't need to go all out with a massively bulky case. I recommend something with dual layers though, the internal rubberized layer that helps absorb the shock from a fall and the outer plastic shell that protects against the dents/damage/etc.. While I have the Otterbox, I plan on making the jump to the Spigen Slim Armor Case, it looks much more beautiful than my Otterbox and slimmer too. I currently use their Glas.tR Screen Protector, having found that the glass gives it the naked feel that I love while still provided amazing protection for the screen. Their products really are top notch, high quality, slim, and don't take away from the aesthetic of the phone.
I'm using a blue android clone army case from cruzerlite

I really like the case so far. It adds a bit of bulk though on an already big phone so it can be a bit cumbersome at times to reach stuff on the screen with one hand (I have pretty small hands lol) but I think it looks great and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
I had mine naked for a week and was scared, it slid out of my pocket at the gym a couple times but onto a rubber floor, so no damage...got tired of being careful and threw on an otterbox commuter..loving it, feels more sturdy and i dont have to worry about it.
had a commuter on my s3 and that thing hit the pavement a good 3-5 times from about 5-6 feet up, no damage at all
Don't Hesitate
After about a week and a half of fretting about dropping it, scratching it, or otherwise, I was very relieved when I finally broke down and got a case. I'm using a semi-thick plastic/silicon case from CruzerLite.com. It's well worth it, looks cool (I actually get a lot of questions and compliments on it's design), and it's quite functional. It also doesn't add a lot of bulk! CruzerLite.com, check it out!
I have not used a case yet don't like the extra thickness. I've dropped it pretty good a few times but only dented the metal. Guess I been lucky

I too had a Charge before my Galaxy 4. I had a silicon case and I still dropped it all the time. It once hit the pavement with such force that it opened and the battery fell out....it still worked. I cannot imagine this kind of resilience on the s4.
However, I found what I think is a great case - it is made by Speck - a very thin harder plastic with a rim to protect the screen AND some kind of rubber ribs all over the back and the sides so you have plenty of grip. I've not dropped the phone yet and I know this case is a good part of the reason. I have the crummy plastic screen cover from Verizon and will be putting a better one on in the next day or two. I got the Speck case at Best Buy but have also seen it at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Speck-Product...8-3&keywords=speck+case+for+samsung+galaxy+s4
http://www.amazon.com/Speck-Products-CandyShell-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B00C27R8MM/ref=sr_1_3?
ie=UTF8&qid=1373786228&sr=8-3&keywords=speck+case+for+samsung+galaxy+s4
Then I was still left without a clip for the occasional times when I don't have a purse or pockets. I found a Nitze black foldover case with a clip in the back. It is made with elastic in the middle so you can carry your phone and credit cards. I cut out the elastic and am now able to fit the S4 WITH the Speck case still on it. (Sorry but I can't find a link for that case now).
Hope this helps. As you can tell, I really love the Speck and it comes in several colors.
Hey guys,
Been using my DNA for the past year without a case and finally cracked the screen. Needless to say, after I repair it I'll be getting a case.
My issue is, most of the cases I see for the DNA are either downright ugly, or add a lot of bulk to the phone. I love how slim it is without a case, but obviously, with my clumsy hands should get one for protection purposes.
So, what cases are you guys using?
I currently have a generic wannabe case. It's got a plastic snap on cover, then a rubber casing around that. It's similar to what I'm getting. I had a Seidio case for my Thunderbolt, and was pleased to find they make the same thing for the DNA. They call it "Dilex" now. But you can get it on Ebay for 10 bucks less than Amazon as the "Active" case. It has a two-piece plastic cover, then a rubber cover, then an exoskeleton. AND it has a kickstand. I loved my Tbolt kickstand. I had my Tbolt for 3 years and it stayed in outstanding condition using the Seidio. I'm definitely a repeat customer.
Here's Seidio's page about the case:
http://www.seidioonline.com/seidio-htc-droid-dna-dilex-s/8532.htm
On Amazon, the price varies from like 28 bucks to 35 depending on color.
http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-CSK3HTDDAK-GR-DILEX-Metal-Kickstand/dp/B00B1N08MA
Here it is on Ebay:

If you find a difference between the "Dilex", and "Active", feel free to educate me. I haven't found a difference yet. I just figured Active was the old name.

I have a red Seidio Active (silver kickstand) that I've had since the 3rd day after I got my DNA and it's great. My only complaint is it does feel a little thick and I only use the kickstand as a novelty. It can't reach the wireless charger when propped up and I don't need to charge it other than overnight when I'm sleeping. I had a UAG on my Galaxy S3 and I desperately wish they had a version for the DNA as it offered the same protection but wasn't quite as bulky. The Seidio is top quality though.
Otterbox commuter series, I've been using them for 4 years now and no broken phones or no cracked anythings
Hard thin shell on the outside with a nice durable silicon/rubber on the inside (better IMO that the defender series cases) cost is around 35-40$ however if it breaks (which is extremely unlikely) just take a pic of the broken case and they send you a new one no charge AFAIK
Never needed to get a replacement as these are solid quality cases can't go wrong with otterbox

I have been using the diztronic case for over a year and it doesn't add a lot of bulk its basically a tpu case but has a matte finish. I like it and I tried the otter box defender case but it was so bulky I went back. I think its one of the better cases if you want something without bulk but I would think the screen would crack if the phone took a direct hit on the screen. Though I haven't had any cracks with it after a year and I drop my phone every now and then.

This is not much help, but hopefully you can go another year "naked". I have no case on my phone and love it. My wife has an S4 with a case (I forget the brand, but it has the rubber and then the hard plastic over it), and I think her phone is bulky.
Coming from a Droid 2, 3, and 4, most anything smaller that a 2x4 is small but the DNA has spoiled me.
I have cracked screens with and without a case. Currently naked and love it!
I use an Incipio Dual Pro. I love it.
I use the seido surface. Its raised a little bit above the screen which makes me a little less worried if I drop it, although it's still not as protected as it would be with something like an otterbox. It doesn't add any bulk to the phone, and doesn't ruin the shape of the phone so it looks almost the same as it does with the case off. I would just use the phone naked but it just feels like it's going to slip right out of my hand when I do that.

I'm using the Seidio Surface too, I love the case, slim, doesn't add bulk, I have drop it a few times and screen still intact, plus the case has a polycarbonate feel, feel great on hand.
I use a otterbox defender and it is kind of bulky; but I am a metal roof salesman and use my phone extensively for work; pictures, pitch guage, ect... If my phone gets dropped on, or off, a roof it's chances of breaking are very high. I like the belt clip as well.
I use the Sedio Dilex with the built in kickstand. I miss my Thunderbolt, hahaha. Seriously solid case. :good:
FYI, you might find better/more info in the Accessories Forum..
Personally I am using the BodyGlove Dropsuit. It is inexpensive, thin, and seems to protect pretty well. I have dropped my DNA a few times, even once right on the corner on hard tile, and I don't have a scratch..

I use a Otterbox commuter, but now I switched to nothing since I really hate the feel of the bulkiness
So gumdrop and poetic have come out with silicone cases for the 12.2
I just broke down and got my 12.2 900 from amazon since they dropped the price by $50 (starting Saturday this started just on the black version down a few $ then to $25 and finally to $50 off today and then they applied it to the white so both are $50 off - glad I was waffling). I thought about the VZW one since they had $200 off this month with the contract, and I like the fast charging and slightly quicker processor, but the likely lack of updates and likely fewer mods and no 64gb model made it a no go (that $35 activation fee blows too - so, sorry VZW you could have made some money...).
So I really wanted Gumdrop to come out with a bounce skin for it, but they said lets make a more expensive hideaway model with the terrible slippery/spongy silicone. This will be out on April 15th. I might consider it then, but this company is not making me happy not having replied to a single request for information I have sent since early February.
Poetic has two skin for the 12.2, the GraphGrip and the Turtle. The GraphGrip is out now and is a thinner skin for the 12.2, pretty cheap too. I got this for immediate use. They also have the Turtle which is similar to the BounceSkin in that it is a substantial silicone skin with lots of cushioning. This will be out April 15th too. What makes me hesitate with the Turtle is the weight, 12 oz.!!! This adds 3/4 of a pound to the device. For comparison my wife's bounce skin weighs about 4 oz. My thinking is that 12 oz. is too much weight to add to the tablet. Also both are only available in black.
So just wanted to update everyone on the silicone skins for the 12.2
I have the graph grip. It is HEAVY. Adds a lot of weight. Collects dust and dog fur. Otherwise it is nice. Certainly feels like some decent protection, but i went back to the cheapo case I got off amazon.

I wish they could understand gumdrop which hollows out the silicone creating "air pockets" which seem to provide a bit more protection while dropping the weight significantly. I'm glad it feels like good protection, I was worried it would feel cheap.

The GumDrop cases always looked bulky to me, so Im glad to hear they don't weigh much. However, I like the Poetic case's design better.

I like the gumdrop bounce skin case the best, but they only have it for the ipad. I really like the bulk to it, it feels right to me. They hollow out the silicone on the inside to make it cushion more and really drop the weight.
The poetic skin, graphgrip (thin one) is OK. The silicone gets a little tacky after use, and I like that. The weight is not bad.
Cons:
They scent it, I don't like this
It only just curves around the edge and does not extend over the buttons or sides of the glass. I would prefer they go to the edge, cover the home button and entirely cover the capacitive buttons but have thinned out the place where you could cut them out if you want them, I will disable mine this weekend when I root.
I don't think it will cushion the device were it to fall, it just give a bit of a grip.
The big skin I don't have, but it seems like it would be heavy (12 oz. is almost half what the device wieghs, too much for a skin), I bet it is because they don't hollow it out like gumdrop.
I bought the Poetic Turtle Case and sure it does protect the tablet but it is heavily scented and it is just noxious! I am soaking it in hot soapy water and drying it outside in the hopes that the stench dissapates. Too bad for the case! I will be buying a Gum drop just for this reason. Also, the Poetic case is tacky....very sticky, unlike a Gumdrop.
**** So, it's been overnight and the scent is still there after bleaching and soaking the thing and putting it out all night to air out. Why did they scent the thing? Why don't they put that in the description???? It is just such a nasty smell!

Is there any chance you can weigh the turtle case?
The graph grip had the Jasmine scent too but it is fading now to next to nothing after about a month of use. I don't know why they scent it pure silicone rubber has no scent. It might be a mold lubricating agent they use.
I would suggest not using bleach. Try dish soap like palmolive first (high SDS content) then if that does not work or if you want to skip it use febreeze. I prefer fragrance free, but any will work. Why febreeze? Because they use cyclodextrans to De odorize. These molecules trap scent or smelly molecules inside them and actually remove them. Try spraying it on your hand when they smell fishy or worse and you can't get rid of the smell with soap. Febreeze will work like a charm. I suspect in this case it will help significantly but it won't totally work since the scent will be dissolved in the silicone rubber. It will just take a bit of time to totally diffuse out and be gone. Febreeze will be your best bet. Just rinse it off when you are done, the cyclodextrans will just wash away and carry the scent molecules with them.

Very curious how easy it is to remove it from the case. I would like to still use my zagg keyboard dock, which would require removing the tab from the gumdrop case. Please let us know!
Surething as soon as I get it in I will report back!

Gumdrop case is here... fairly heavy however. Woll post pics later. Fits very very well on the device.

Do you mean this one: http://www.gumdropcases.com/device/...away-case-for-samsung-galaxy-tab-note-12.html
I am also considering to buy it. It looks like the Ottobox case I bought for the Note 2. I dropped a few times by accident. No problem. This gumdropcase seems to be the best to protect our very expensive device against damage from drop. Any comment on it? With the case, how difficult it is to handle the device in both landscape and portrait mode? Can you do thumb-typing easily as if the case were not there?
Hello, could users please post their experience on the Gumdrop case? The company told me that it includes a screen protector built into the case. I don't need to buy a separate protector. Wonder how good the screen protector and the case are. Is the screen protector a fingerprint maganet? I am using a screen protector from Samsung. It is a finger print magnet. Thanks
Does the raised area on top and surrounding the LCD screen interfere with handwriting, use of S-pen and typing?
I need a case for my G3 and I am considering the Spigen Slim armor case. Any reviews on the Spigen Slim Armor Case?

I left my review on Amazon. In short, it's great.
The only problem:
Two different models with or without gap for antenna.
Had to send mine back to amazon because they send me the Korean model with the ugly gap.
Apart from that the case looks great.
There are some reviews on Youtube. I ordered mine today, but paid a higher price since it's not available in my country. Seems like one of the best quality cases out there.
I dropped my G3 from a height of about 2 feet onto a tile floor (fell out of my shirt pocket) with the Spigen Slim Armor case on. It landed on the "Air Cushion Corner" and cracked the screen rendering it mostly useless. Aside from that, the finish on the back showed wear from day one and looks pretty bad after a few weeks.
Spigen offered to refund the cost of the case so their customer service is fine, but I'm not trusting the Slim Armor for my G3 when I get it back from repair.
Could just be a crazy incident and maybe a rare occurrence, but I wanted to share anyway. Moral of the story, don't drop your phone.

I've dropped mine more times than I'm proud of and it hasn't broken my phone. Also it does show wear, but I think it was a fluke for your phone to break. It even fell down the stairs when I was going to my engineering class and my phone is perfect. The case has done scratches, but it could be because of my tempered glass screen protector which is also fine. I've never had any phone break in these cases but that's just me. I think it'd a good case in fact I have 2 of them and its my favorite case. Individual results may vary.
I've had about 6 Spigen cases over the years and they have all been fantastic except Slim Armor for the G3. Mine was defective and had to send it back. Mine did not fit tight around the phone and it would come off every time I would take it out of my pocket. I'm sure mine was a isolated problem because their cases have always been great. I'm hoping they make a tough armor.

Ya I think mine was a fluke, but it still blew my mind that the phone broke on the first drop like that. Freak accident I guess. I dropped my last LG phone countless times over 2 1/2 years and it never broke. Just one of those things I guess.

I've always read great things about Spigen so that's why I chose it for my G3. The intial impression of fit and finish was great, but the excessive wear on the painted plastic back is what turned me off. I'm just used to a full TPU case is all.

The back on mine isn't painted it's the color of the plastic. The scratches match the cases color which makes then less noticeable, however, or still sucks that it does scratch much easier than a TPU case.

Maybe it is color specific then. I got the metal slate and it was a painted on color that showed white under every scratch.

Ok so I decided to get a more heavy duty case because I will be needing it for a couple of weeks.
Decided to grab the Supcase off amazon because it was the highest rated heavy duty case on there.
The case itself feels like it stands to the title "heavy duty." I say that because it does add a bit of weight to the phone, which i personally like.
The cut outs are spot on so there is no obstruction to anything and it have a dust cover for the headphone and usb ports.
The power and volume button is slightly raise which makes it easy to reach and press.
It also feels like it would be able to withstand a fall or 20 without there being any damage to the phone...
other than that there is nothing else that you can say about this case.
Now for the bad.
The rear camera cut out is lazy...by which i mean they expose the Motorola logo. and instead of creating a bright between the camera and logo. they just left a long cut out between them....bad design, because that doesn't really help protect against duty.
The back is a lot slippery which is a disappointment for a heavy duty case.
The included "screen protector" is just a flimsy piece of, well film...although it would be able to protect the screen from scratches it would not do anything if you phone fell at an angle which cause it to hit the screen directly.
Well on that note, because the SP is just a film...it does not lay flat against the screen which creates a giant haloing effect all across the screen....that is a MAJOR deal breaker for me.
**Edit**
Not really a pro or con just preference
Almost forgot...the include belt clip although sturdy, meaning it will stay in place, clips to the face of the phone, so you will not be able to check notification while using the clip...I find this annoying some might like the added protection in case you bang the screen against the edge of a table/desk or whatever else.
Conclusion...
This case its a 2.5/5
Chances are I'll only use this case for the next few weeks, then store it in a box somewhere until I need it again...You are better off with a good TPU case and Temper glass protector for everyday usage.
**Edit**
Turns out that not working out for a few people so I Heavy duty case without a built-in SP with a TGSP, maybe

I bought the supcase unicorn beetle and it's definitely a 4 out of 5.I admit the back is slippery and the camera cutout is lazy but I don't have a haloeffect on my front screen.maybe you got a bad one.I love this case a lot more than the ballitistic. This one alteast has style and fits the phone tight

Umm I wish i could take a pic to show you... but if you say that your front face is flat against the screen so that you don't have that glaring effect where it looks like you have water trap underneath the screen, then maybe I will try to contact them to get a replacement.
I love the ballistic case on my lg optimus g pro. Figured it would make the n6 to big for my liking. I got the supcase and like it.
i do have the haloing and so does my wifes moto x2013 with her trident case. I can only see it with the screen off and at an angle so no real problem, plus dont have to deal with bubbles. I do agree its slippery and should be more tacky for a hd case but even the ballistic case on my old phone was slick on the back, only the corners were really grippy. I personally like the camera logo cutout. I would of liked it to include the nexus logo as well like the ringke max case I also bought. overall im happy with it, it is a bit big but i feel it is protected. I had the phone for a week and didnt use it until i got the cases for it. I have 2 kids and accidents happen.

lol, I wish I hadn't used my phone the first week I had it without a case..and I would have like the cut a lot better if it was like the Ringke Max. Overall like I said the phone feels and is protected in the case, for instances I drop the phone in the gym last night (due to the slippy back actually, it really just slipped out my hand) and nothing happened happened to the phone. :victory:
The haloing i get with the screen both off and on, and from all viewing angles
