new rom?

Hy!
So, i have this phone Allview h2 qubo, and i changed the launcher, with the Solo Launcher, witch worked great so and i decided to disable the old one. I entered in the total commander and deleted the GN_Launcher.apk from system/apk folder.... Yes, my phone is rooted.
Also, I changed the scheduled airplane on/off from yes to no in the build.prop After that, i rebooted the phone, it's stuck at the android logo.
What can i do?

Do not touch your build.prop if you do not have a backup. A factory reset or flashing the stock firmware should solve your issue.

i did a factory reset, and nothing . . .... and i don't have a backup.
as for the stock firmware, none. i think my phone is a gionee ctr4

It's going to be complicated... Without the original file I doubt you can do something.
If by any chance you have a custom recovery with a built in file manager you may edit your build.prop.

Hi,
I also have allview h2 qubo and i also got a bootloop. So i searched the whole internet and i found the answer.
The allview h2 qubo is the same as: walton primo g3, gionee v4, qmobile noir a500.
On the website of Walton you go to the primo g3 and go to support.
They have the offical android rom you can download and put it
Via mtktools to your phone. They have a document how you do it.
So i hope i helped you.
If you have question just mail me at: [email protected]
Bye.
Ps: if you installed the stock rom of the primo g3 make a backup!!
Ask me if you need help then i will make a video for you

Hi! I have an Allview H2 Qubo and like you got a bootloop. Thanks to your tip I managed to install primo g3's official rom, but now I can't install any custom rom. Every ROM I try gives me a bootloop. I tried multiple roms, several boot.img files and reflashed the official rom many times but with the same result. Do you know what could be the problem?
P.S.: I'd just like to flash Color OS for Noir A500, which is the same as our phone. I used that rom before flashing Primo G3, and it worked, but now it won't boot anymore.

solve
Just change de bootlogo from the rom with the bootlogo of primo g3

Hi,
my 7 days old lenovo vibe x s960 just got auto-upgraded to android version 4.4.2 (vibeui_v1.5_1416_3_st_s960).

so now i'm stuck with no contacts, emails, calendar and what not, but i do have a very stupid smartphone.
as i see it, i have 2 options:
1) find a way to change the recovery to english, and head on from there, or
2) find a way to install google apps & services back to my current version, and carry on with my life

[Q] Allview AX4 nano tablet bricked. ROM, anyone?

Hello!
Yet another idiot that bricked his phone by trying to replace fonts: me.
I did my research, i managed to open recovery mode, wiped data/factory reset etc. But in vain did I try. The tablet is stuck in a bootloop...
I tried searching the web for a ROM and found none. I searched for tablets with similar specs and found a clone: Verykool T742.
But i couldn't find the original device (the one made in China). I only know that it was probably manufactured by ALPS.
The question is: does anyone know/have a custom ROM for me? Or does anyone know what is the original device's name?
If not, then I know I tried...
Thank you :cyclops:

Q&A for [ROM][18-12-2013] ZTE V987 (MT6589) custom ROMs (JB)

Blocked in stock recovery mod
Hi everyone,
I'm writing this post because I'm hopeless in this moment. I have my ZTE v987 blocked in stock recovery mod ("android system recovery 3e") with no chance to flash or install any ROM or Firmware.
It happens to me when I tried to reflash CWM Recovery 6.0.3.7 with flash tool to reinstall Bruno Rom instead of MIUI ROM. I needeed to reflash because since when I installed MIUI ROM, the CWM rebooted by itself after few seconds, preventing from install any zip file.
Unfortunately, I flashed preloader and after that, my zte dead (it do not even power on).
However, reading some tread and many, many posts and guides about to unbrick mtk65xx, I find a solution (thanks to Bruno) to raise from the death my smartphone. Basically, I was able to flash my zte using flash tool and "ZTE V987 stock partitions" (posted by Bruno to another member of this comunity) but from that I'm blocked in android system recovery 3e.
Can everyone help me, please?
Thanks a lot
You just need to flash CWM recovery, that's all.

Thanks for the answer.
I found a solution and now my zte v987 works fine, but I have still some huge problems:
SIM not detected, pttycmd1 not found, NVRAM empty
Unfortunately, the only way to resolve these problems is to get another functioning zte v987 and make a backup with Mtk droid tools. So, I can make a radio and NVRAM restore.
There is nobody in my town with this model of zte smartphone and I can't do nothing to bring back my phone.
If anybody can help me posting this backup, I will appreciate a lot
can i install this rom on my zte v967s

I don't have V987 anymore, but fortunatelly I kept some old files on the computer. You can find in attachment my old V987 NVRAM backup. After flashing it you should change IMEI numbers.

Hi Bruno :
The camera make me some problems. Could you make a zip to revert stock app?
I wouldn't like to reinstall again and choose it from aroma installer menu.
Thanks in advance!
ZTE V987 locked network
I flashed a different rom this afternoon but I didn't like so I came back to Bruno's . When I restored my backup my phone asks for my pincode and "INSERT BLOCK ME SIM"
I got my unlocked phone so I sent an email to the webpage where I bought it, but I have no idea if they will be able to help me, because I have been flashing my phone.
There is any solution? Any way to get the code or using my simcard without it?
Thanks you for your attention

I had a clone s4 some time ago called No1 S6, after some time its internal sd card got broken... i do not recommend it to root and flash custom rom to that phones.
it had an mtk6582 which was a midrange SoC while that now its one of the crappiest chipsets..
however, clone mediatek phones do not have a "download mode", so odin does not work as well
You need to get the real name of the phone, i think there was a youtuber who reviewed a clone galaxy a9 his youtubechannel name was "mayiandjay" you could contact him via email for the devices name.
Then search on needrom.com for a rom for that phone and flash it via SP flashtool. When flashing a rom to a mtk phone with spflashtool the phone just needs to be turned off, no need to get into any mode ;

Lava Iris88s

Hi Guys,
I have been going through a android mobile with out camera, and I have found this Indian brand Lava. Its because of my job.
I brought this mobile Lava Iris88s, and they are using an OS named "Star OS". It's soo buggy and I am facing random problems. The mobile was not cheap also. I searched the threads I could not find any help and this device is not added in XDA.
Is there any developer who can help with rooting this mobile with any stock based rom.

i already tried all those Rom's, its not working with the device. the exact build should be lava_iris88s_2_16_S207_WOC_18F08
actually i tried to root my device but somehow it ended in bootloop, so i downloaded stock rom from similar Android Rom Sites fro this device and flashed it with sp flash tool. that flashing rendered my phone screen into static noisy screen.
then i found a way to revive the phone by flashing IK.img & boot.img from lava iris 88s as instructed in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/help-pls-lava-iris-88s-t3847396
but still there are some issues like slow charging, phone keep crashing, battery showing -1% even if it is fully charged.....
i believe an original stock rom could fix all this issue, unfortunately coudn't find one.
