Hello everyone!
This is just a friendly suggestion to the Moderators.
Is there a reason why there is just this Forum for all Sony Tablets? This Forum is getting way too confusing with the Sony Tablet S, Xperia S (often just called "Tablet S") and now even the new Tablet Z! I think it would make the life of everyone easier if you could separate these different Tablets in new forums.

Dont forget the Tablet P! It also has its place here But i guess only the Xperia Tablets need their sub forums here, at least.

I think just one more forum..... a separate one for XTZ as it is a far more superior device than ours (supported by PC Companion for one). Where as the STS STP and XTS are more or less the same thing (software wise).

I'll be in Singapore for couple of days. Heard that LTE version of Sony Xperia Z Ultra is going to launch tomorrow. It could be a good change to have a look. Anyone getting one or pre-order?

Im sure the launch event was a week or two back but the pre-orders start shipping tomorrow.

Xperia Z Ultra launch, early morning went to get 1 from M1, no crowd, not even need to Q. as i been to 3 m1 shop, Courts tam mega store having stock ard 5pm, tam mall no stock for white, have to go all the way to parkway to get it! M1 pre release system s**ks.

Still waiting my Xperia Z Ultra to come. How's the performance? The camera quality still in expectation since it's only 8MP compared to my Xperia Z 13MP.

honestly i bought this devices mainly for gaming + multimedia, the + for this devices : 6.44 large screen (1080p), fastest processor at the moment (S800), Slim design & water resistant, i dun bother abt the camera at all, as i will use my S4 camera with so much function. color of this devices still a let down...dunno y compare with all my Sam S4 AOLED, Mega 6.3 LCD, Galaxy Camera LCD even Huawei Ascend P1 devices XZU UI just look so colorless except viewing photo on sony album, even so it feel over saturated with some color... as i just finish charging devices i need to use more to see if the triluminos really standout.
added Post: now bring to bathroom with me to test how the screen & speaker works.

Will be testing my Xperia Z Ultra the same way as you did. But, it should gives me pretty great time with video watching on 6.4 inch display. LOL!:good:

Camera eq is acceptable. For cam whores, they are better off getting a Honami instead. Overall experience is great with this phone. Many people in my country is complaining of yellowish screen though.

update! screen were sharp, display color were great only with adapt lighting off, except white color wash out unless set to 100% brightness.
speaker sound goes soft after dip in water but sound not so low as XZ & S4 Active.
processor was so powerful, not sure cos of no root but every things was Damn fast. (every android i got 1st day rooted unless root not available)
gaming was super, playing Nova 3 was a shock with it vibration feedback i thought i was holding a X-box controller!
down point : XZU MHL is only 1.0, i just bought 1 MHL 2.0 adapter which can connect HDMI + USB card at the same time but XZU & XTZ not respond to it.
I can only said your eye got problem. You need 100% brightness!!! Oh my god!
How can you see the screen more than a minute with 100% brightness!
They is no washout issue in white as you mention.
I use default around 50% with adapt with lighting conditions and off optimize backlight. Vividness and pure black.

another eye problem sony fan boy saying others who dun side any manufacturer...if u compare TZ & ZU ofcos ZU look great, for ur info i comparing with all the devices (AMOLED + LCD) which i had! & hello who the hell told u i set brightness to 100% more den 1min, i was saying i tested 100% brightness the white color still wash out comparing to Mega 6.3 LCD display. or maybe ur life is so colorless thats y 50% + adapt light on is enough for u.
BTW theres alot of complain of ZU yellowish display ard.

If you are used Update Service to update you Z Ultra C6833,
you can go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony Mobile\Update Service\db\XXXXXXXX\blob_fs,
there have 4-5 files named FILE_XXXXXXXXX.
I need that files to flash on my C6802 to test the LTE can it enable. :crying:

sony introduced the new stylus ES22 for Xperia Z Ultra and now the question for me is wether this stylus will work with other devices, like our tablet z or z1 - last one had the sketch app preinstalled.
What do you think about this stylus?
Is there an app like sketch from z ultra on our tablet z? found nothing yet...

According to the Sony website the Z Ultra will work with a pencil which is certainly not the case with the Tablet Z so I would assume that the touch interface must be different somehow and I doubt that the stylus would work looking at how thin the tip is.
Just my opinion though and happy to be proved wrong.

I would think so yes.
- USB OTG = Wireless bluetooth mouse and keyboard
- MHL (5 pin) = Monitor

To all of you first of all very thanks for yours one and all hardwork and effort for our NOVATHOR devices.I want one help from you guys to choose which one in these two phones? NEXUS 5 or XPERIA Z1 COMPACT?
After long research i found these two are good in one and all but still stuck with choosing best in these two.currently using XPERIA U and i really want to upgrade. I use to play lot of HigH EnD 3d gAMES and heavy apps and low use CAMERA. if i buy z1 compact for how many months sony will give updates? whether they will give android 5.0 version official update for z1 compact? i'm sure about n5 will get and comparing with my usage mode i prefer z1 compact but have little bit of confuse to choose one. on these two which is stellar performance and are these two officialy supported by gameloft and some other oem game firm? kindly advice me to choose devs pls
