Only rom-specific at the moment, but hopefully a standalone will be on the grid.

That is correct. With having the hotspot mod you will loose prl and profile update. For me this isn't a big deal.
Different user to user, personal opinions. I HAVE to have Hotspot regardless if it breaks my prl and profile.
But isn't there apps on the play store that just as good as the native hotspot?

A dumb question is a question not asked. We all started somewhere, soak up as much information as you possibly can
PRL: Basically depending on where you are (location wise) a prl lists radio frequencies a phone can use. Each area has a different prl and your phone trys to pick the best one suitable for you at any given time.
Profile: Updating your profile validates your account tied to your phone. Generally you'll want to update profile once updating prl.

You can download every single possible scenario of a Hotspot mod application from Google playstore and still find that it doesn't work.
It might broadcast a signal and you'll be able to connect to it but you won't get any actual internet connectivity.

So tell me (if you know) once I flash Comadose over Rom then download Wifi tether router, will it still work?
I've heard of people going in and deleting some things in comadose to make wifi tether work since comadose breaks tether.

Ive been using wifi tether router since shortly after I purchased my note 3. And it has always worked perfectly! Mj4, NAB, NC5 and several AOSP roms i used. Great app!
But I also did try comadose while on Sacs custom note 3 rom. And it did break wifi tether router. Never really bothered with comadose again.
Guys you need to read the forum, all the questions are already answered you just need to search and look not just ask.

The T-Mobile g2 comes with wcdma preffered as default in the *#*#4636#*#* menu so if you don't change it to lte/gsm/wcdma you will most likely not make use of LTE. At least I didn't for the few days before I changed it. Also it will revert when rebooted.

Thx it's just silly they advertise it as an LTE device and it has full capability of course. Even in the network settings it is set to LTE/wcdma/gsm but then basically disable it in the hidden menu.

Why do you even need to use that code? You can change it from the settings and they stick regardless of whether you reboot or not. I'll be reporting this thread. Sorry OP, but you've done nothing more than add a thread that is neither helpful nor factual.

As for it not working with 4.3, I can't help there. I have used 4.1.2 with other carriers, and messaging worked fine.

With T-Mo you get 500mb 4g free. With the 2.5, you get 3 gigs 4g, and slowed to edge after that. No charge. Just awesome lol. Saddest part is edge is better then sprints 3g-wimax. Lmfao

I still have my HTC One from last year, and I have noticed a big change in the audio output ever since HTC's contract with Beats was over. At any rate, is there a way to flash Beats Audio to the Max?

I'm on Freeza's KK tar which I then rooted. I have Xposed with Wanam module but don't have the call recording option clicked because there was already a call record button activated in the stock phone app.
Since KK has dropped I have been using the call recording periodically but haven't played the files back. Yesterday I went to play back one of the files and it was a garbled mess.
Is there anyway to fix this?

The only thing I know is the static. I'm unclear if it's been resolved. I tried a half a dozen attempts, all static. But that was a few days ago, which is months on xda dev time.

KK broke it.
Had the same problem. Several have been working on problem. As far as I know, still broke.
The following works great though. Call Recorder : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skvalex.callrecorder
Try it before you buy it. Excellent interface. Can record everything. Options to save to cloud. Options for just about anything under the sun.
Didn't think I'd like automatic recording of everything, but I'd miss it now if I had to think about it. Total Recorder works well too, but was erratic for my setup. The pay versions are both about the same price.
I would have donated more for a successful solution. $10 is a steal for what they have implemented.
