Pie controls are awesome and i recommend to use them because
You can use your phone in full screen
You can play games and use apps in full screen
You will avoid press home button accidentally while playing a game (happen to me many times)
You will love it (i did) :good:
Must install if you are a hardcore - pro gamer like me
On the following guide i will explain requirements, how to use, how to install required apps and how to disable stock navigation bar and enable pie controlls!
Requirements
1. Root
2. It works on both stock and CM based roms.
How to use
Touch the edge of the screen and swipe to inside of screen (not very fast)
You need 1-2 days to get familiar using it..
Xposed framework and GravityBox installation
1. Download Xposed installer apk from here and install it Xposed framework
2. Launch Xposed installer from your app drawer
3. Go to "Framework" section and press install/update
4. Reboot your phone
5. Do step 2 again
6. Go to "Download" section and search for GravityBox > download it > install it and press done
7. Go back (step 2)
8. Go to "Modules" section and tick GravityBox
9. Reboot your phone
Pie controlls installation
1. Launch GravityBox from your app drawer
2. Go to "Navigation bar tweaks" Set "Master switch" to ON and untick enable navigaton bar (disable it)
3. Go back and tap "Pie controls" then "Enable pie controls=Always"
4. Tick "Always show menu button"
5. "Trigger positions" is from which sides you want pie controlls to work (i use bottom and right because when phone is in landscape bottom of the phone is right (landscape games,camera etc))
6. "Trigger size" if you set it to high then pie controls will be enabled easier (i use and i recommend to use 6-7 px)
7. "Disable system info" (I recommend ticked)
8. "Disable navigation keys" is not working in some custom roms thats why i recommend step 2 to disable stock navigation bar
9. "Long press is what action" (better leave the default)
10. "Pie colors" if you want to change colors of pie controls
11. Reboot your phone after you done with you settings
Other things you can do with Gravity box
1. Use volume keys to skip track while screen is off
2. Change time - battery - wi fi - signal icons and colors
3. Change transparency for statusbar
4. Allow all rotations of screen
5. Add button to close all recent apps
6. Much more
NOTES
Playing with some options is dangerous in some roms..
Maybe you end up with bootloop
Always take backup of your phone rom/data
Some of the options work only on CyanogenMod based roms (like vibrate on call)
Most settings needs reboot but not all
This is my first guide so feel free to tell me if i forgos something
Im not responsible for anything
I never faced any problem or bootloop playing with GravityBox with installed rom on my phone (Xperia Pureness)
If you end with bootloop you can still try this FIX before you restore your backup
Good luck!
Here are some photos of my lovely SP with pie controlls and status bar changes <3

How to use pie control it hidden always
i cannot push back or home button on screen
i config following you method
GravityBox has awesome feature set, but it has many things incompatible with Xperia ROMs, eventually, if you tweak some options, you will start to have random crashes n reboots. So just be careful and dont enable options not really needed.
Just my opinion, some will endorse it as well

I have a powerful computer but limited Internet connection... it says downloading the kernel will take about an hour!
Here's what has to be done, I think:
First, you need Linux (Windows users: switch now before it's too late!)
Start by getting repo as explained here:
http://source.android.com/source/downloading.html
When it comes to downloading the source itself, run this instead:
repo init -u https://github.com/AOKP-MEDIAPAD/platform_manifest.git -b ics
then run:
repo sync
Then, to build, you have to follow the instructions here:
http://s.android.com/source/initializing.html
And then should be able to build using:
mka
or:
mka otapackage
(makes a flashable zip)
as explained here:
https://github.com/AOKP-MEDIAPAD/vendor_aokp_ics
I haven't done this myself, just what I gather from the instructions on those pages - I tried downloading the source until I realized how big it is.
Hopefully someone who knows can clarify these instructions, post a howto, or much better, make a zip archive for us to flash ))
Can I use a live linux version?
because I use windows
use virtualbox

Q&A for [APP][ROOT] LMT Launcher v2.1 for various devices
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer. Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy! :smile:

Some days ago another guy mentioned that problem with a MIUI ROM. So it seems to be ROM related. In the old log I saw that not only LMT's activities but also services are killed when you leave the app.
Without TouchService, no LMT joy... I don't know what those MIUI guys are doing and how to fix it on LMT-side...

Go to Settings>Applications and select the app, then you will see an option to enable pop ups, along with the options to uninstall, clear caches and others.
Then go to the permissions manager and trust the app.
This fix all overlay issues with MiUI.

Good job, a nice launcher for my One m7
LMT opens "recent apps" by itself
Hi,
I have a problem with LMT Launcher, since I've installed it, it opens from time to time the recent apps without any action. Even it the phone lays on the table it sometimes does. Mostly it works, but then suddenly it does it like all 2 - 3mins. I love LMT since my hard keys are not working anymore. But this is really annoying, especially when playing a game.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005, rooted, but with Stock ROM on 4.4.2 and the latest version of LMT installed.
I tried it with removing "recent apps" from any pies, but it didn't help (and actually, I want them to be accessible through LMT).
Does someone else experiencing this problem? And does someone may have a solution?
If this problem is already solved in here, I am sorry! I searched for it but couldn't find a similar issue.
LMT launcher conflict with Android 5.0 Lollipop Preview
In order to get LMT Launcher working properly with Android 5.0 Lollipop Preview you must change the SELinex setting for your device to PERMISSIVE mode. This is not complicated.
-Install the preview ROM
-flash custom recovery
-flash Chainfire's modify kernel
-flash SuperSU 2.14
-download SELinexModeChanger apk
-openSELinexModeChanger and select PERMISSIVE MODE
Now all LMT Launcher functions will work properly.
Don't bother with comments about the security risks that this creates. If that bothers you, stick to LMT's base configuration-it will work just fine.
Awesome App!
I was looking for PIE alternative and this is it! However, it's not working with android lollipop preview on my N5
The default setting work but if I put my app on the PIE slot it doesn't do anything.
Hope it's fixed when the actual release come up.
THANKS!

I don't find passive mode, only:Enforce or Permissive.
choose the opposite of ENFORCE
I think you get the point. There are only two choices on this apk, just push the button.
Where does LMT store its settings?
I just flashed a custom ROM and want to restore LMT and all my settings from a nandroid backup.
Thanks!
I was wondering why LMT needed root for the back button when the vastly inferior Pie Control doesn't?
Screen Pinning
Hi, in Lollipop there’s a new feature calls "Screen Pinning." When enabled, you can lock down your device so the person using it only has access to one app.
Exiting a pinned app requires you to touch and hold the back and overview buttons at the same time for a couple of seconds. Is there a way to do so with the Pie ? The only way I have as this point is to restart the phone…
Thanks in advance...

no work on my NEXUS4
my nexus4 update to lolipop 5.0, but is didn't work on my device!
Hi,
how can I invert the position of the items when I activate PIE from the left ?
I want to keep the order back/home/recent apps from left to right but when I activate pie from the left size of the screen, the order is recent apps/home/back.
Thanks for the answer
Is there a possibility to get back the old standard icons? In the moment I can't get used to the lolliop icons. I mix them always up. They aren't intuitive for me....
By the way I can't emphasize enough how great this app is. Using it since HD2 times....
I dont think im compatible
I don't think this awesome app will work on my Kyocera hydro
Am I doing something wrong or is it just not compatible with it
Please help, this app looks promising
Sorry to ask.. Is there plans to support one plus one device ? I miss this app..

LMT launcher(pie controls)-Huawei Ascend P6
Hello guys! Today I finally succeed to root my phone and since I am new in this field( rooting, custom roms and all the other facts that you consider being piece of cake). I came across this LMT launcher(with pie controls) topic and I tried to install it on my Huawei, I followed all the steps(downloaded the app setting the values) but my phone was not in that list(when you had to introduce the model) and I ticked "No known device" and it is still not working. I know that it is probably a stupid problem, but I've been struggling for 6 hours and I still can't find my way through this app. I would be more than grateful if you can help me! Thank you very much!
I'm pretty sure the reason why the QuickSettings option selects Notifications is because in 5.0, they are the same thing. Although, there is the ability to expand it fully, which resembles quick settings closer.
I am no longer going to make aroma installers. The zip method is very similar and should work whether or not you are flashing modules as long as one of the modules does not mod the framework-res.apk or SystemUIGoogle.apk. Download the zip installer. Unzip it into a folder on your internal sdcard. Find that folder once you are in TWRP.
This what it looks like. Inside those folders are the zips you will flash. Hit the back button in TWRP and go to the next one you want to flash. Continue until you are done then flash complete installation. Nothing is flashed to your system until you flash "complete installation".

The developer of Active edge gave me permission to use his base so that people would not have to make a choice between his and my mods. All credit for this goes to him. You must delete the active edge sense module and use one of my active edge modules. If it doesn't say active edge then it isn't active edge sense compatible. If there is an issue with edge sense after flashing, do not contact edge sense op with issues. He does not troubleshoot modified versions of his mod (and neither do I).
ADB Installer Instructions-Root is required
1. Flash one of the SystemUI Bases First. They provide the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work.
2. FLASH ALL THE MODS YOU WANT. ONCE YOU DONE WITH EVERYTHING, FLASH THE "COMPLETE INSTALLATION" Option. This will create a Magisk Manager flashable zip in a folder on your sdcard called ozop. Flash that to install your selection of mods.

2. Run TulsadiverModsInstaller.bat (Give ADB Root Permissions)
3. ADB debugging Enabled

5. Go through the other options selecting what all mods you want. It is generally best to start at the top and work your way down.

Hey @Tulsadiver
Great mods!
I'm on the P and I do have some problems.. I'm not much of a tweaks guy, All I want to do, is to get rid of the navbar.
In aroma I do select remove navbar with 3 Titles - the first one - but the clock moves to the right. Anyway to just disable the navbar? And that everything else stays the same?
Thank you!

I will try to root it, and try out the zip after I get home from work later today.. I love the new nav thing lol, but I need to shrink it as it looks way to big for me.. Maybe even disable the whole thing and use some kind of navigation app to get to the menu.
Anyways I'll try it later today and I'll see how it goes!

Yay... I didn't read and flashed it ... fruit loops for me!
This ROM is based on Android 11 One UI 3.1 for the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus or S20 Ultra 5G Snapdragon with modified firmware to allow for a safe update while retaining bit 1 to keep bootloader unlock. This ROM uses the AIO userdata image created by @jrkruse to automatically flash TWRP, Magisk and all of the fixes that we need for our rooted devices. Link to AIO thread here
Flash at your own risk! I am not responsible for any dead device, loss of data, etc.
Requirements:
Must have an unlocked bootloader
Modified odin to flash ROM
Instructions:
Back up any important data because this will wipe your internal storage
Download rom for your device from below and unzip ROM to PC
Connect phone to PC and load all 5 files into odin. *If using no wipe userdata, your lockscreen pin will be reset to swipe so you'll just have to set that again when you boot into system
Press start
When it's finished, phone will reboot and automatically boot to TWRP to format (wipe) data. Then phone will reboot to TWRP again to flash some files. When it is finished, the phone will reboot to system
After you finish setup wizard, open rom control, allow root access and open each tab to set default values

This looks awesome! Is it 3.1 based on android 11 or 10?
Can you confirm if this ROM addresses the issue where the display dims when you are talking on the phone. It gets so dimmed I cannot even see where any button it is to get the screen back to bright. I end up pressing on the screen and many times I press a button inadvertently and sometimes it is the hang up key. The most dreadful feature of Samsung.

I haven't seen this issue. If it happens to you on full stock, it could be a hardware issue with your phone. Make sure you don't have anything covering the sensors that are up near the front camera on the screen.

It is a common issue. I don't want to clutter the ROM Q&A but here is just one of many links (https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S-Phones/Screen-dims-when-making-calls/td-p/319723/page/4). Apparently the right setting varies by phone type but I am using S20 Ultra+. I am simply looking for a ROM where I can override if the phone is active (either by touch, motion if not logged out, etc. the screen does not dim). Thanks
This seems promising, will it work on SM-9880? since its both snapdragon?

No, it won't as it is. I'd have to build one specifically for the 0 variant. I'll see what I can do after I get the U variants taken care of.

yeah I think that might be it. it's weird because I had it on my regular install of duh2
basically the screen scrolls but if you click it again after one scroll it'll stop scrolling and it includes that bar at the bottom of the screen shot
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
so this is what happens when I scroll a few times, sometimes it's 1 or 2 times.

Try uninstalling updates for screen capture app
Edit:
I was able to reproduce this. It seems that there might have been a bad update to the Samsung capture apk, but the version in the rom is good. You can go back to it using the method described above. Then I updated to version 4.8.04.2 through the galaxy store and it seems to be working well so far
@Krog18
Thanks very much for this rom, it's running without issues for me
Question...what does modded theme store mean specifically? I went looking for themes and there were paid and free ones like it's always been. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place, is there a separate section for themes that are trials?
Edit: nevermind, I clicked on one of the paid themes, and I see an option for "download trial" I'm assuming that's what you mean, unlimited trial?

I take no responsibility on what following this guide does to your phone.
EDIT:
So, I found this guide online, tested it out and it works.
Quick note on the guide. You'll want to add the "navigation_bar_height_landscape" = 0 in step 11. so it removes the navigation bar in landscape mode too.

1st. you have to have the lastest Android SDK Platform Tools and enable usb debugging on your phone. (head over to Settings > System > Tap on Build Number 7 Times > Go back to Settings > System > Developer Options > Enable USB Debugging.)
2nd. install the Shizuku App from Play Store, open it and leave it open.
3rd. Now connect your device to the PC via USB cable. Then head over to the platform-tools folder, type in CMD in the address bar, and hit Enter. This shall launch the Command Prompt.
4th. Now type in the below command in the CMD window to launch the Shizuku App:
adb shell sh /sdcard/Android/data/moe.shizuku.privileged.api/start.sh
You should now see the Shizuku is running message and we are now good to go ahead.
5th. download and install the Fabricate Overlay app on your device from GitHub.
6th Launch the app and tap on the Add overlay button situated at the bottom.
After that, select Android System from the list and tap on Add.
Then type in navigation in the search bar and scroll to the Dimen.
Now select the navigation_bar_frame_height, input 0 in the Value field and tap Apply.
Then select the navigation_bar_height, type in 0 in the Value field and tap Apply.
Then select the navigation_bar_height_landscape, type 0 in the Value field and tap Apply.
7th. Now hit the Save button, give this overlay a name, and hit Save.
Finally, checkmark this overlay to activate it.
It's fantastic Thank You very much! Works! Finally I can use the FNG. I only found the source codes that was my problem.

I still prefer for the older Android OS quick settings tiles...but this is a compromise. The new OS Notification Panel has a ton of wasted space and bloated buttons.
I almost want to remove the quick settings panel altogether....and I probably could replace it with the Tasker AutoNotification Panel I've already made just below it. More versatile, more compact.
