Hi All,
I would like to install a brand new custom rom on my desire x dual SIM phone. Do we have any custom ROMs that entirely change look and can be installed on HTC Desire X dual SIM.
I've installed MyOneDSX, MySenseDSX by following instructions in the following thread. But I don't like those ROMs as they are not much different from stock ROM

As the development forums are only for posting development work, questions do not belong there. Please be sure to post threads in the correct section in future.
Also, I'm closing this thread as we don't allow best ROM threads. To find to "best" ROM to meet your requirements, the best option is to test some of them out for yourself. Relying on answers from others is never ideal because different people have different favourites so you won't get a truly helpful answer anyway.

hi guys i have a new today hero sim free and was wondering how to flash different roms to it and what would i gain by doing so.

well the modaco2.5.1 is very fast
rooting your phone help install some specific app or remove system apps add custom localisation fonts
but there is no heavy mod since you stay with rosie home
please ensure this type of question is posted in the Q&A section, NOT DEV!

Hi there, please accept my apologies if this topic has been posted (many times) before, but I am having trouble wading through the excellently huge amount of info on XDA-Dev, and am finding myself more confused than informed by the time I have gone through one or two threads Roms.
So, may I ask some very simple questions about what is a Rom, what it does, what information will be specifically interesting for me, what 'Flashing' does, a simple step-by-step ABC of how to 'upgrade' my HTC HD2 with a new ROM to make it work better, and what you may need from me in order to be able to focus my query in the right direction.
Again, apologies if this is a much hacked subject, as I'm certain on such a forum, with the very knowledgable and creative developers it has, you have been approach more than once on this very subject.
Any help is most apprecited.

Anyways, I am looking for a decent ROM for my i9300 (currently running ParanoidAndroid).
I would like a ROM that has:
- Samsung camera
- JB style (preferably no TouchWiz at all)
- extended Power Menu
Anyone know if a simple ROM exists with these features?
(I have had a look but I find these forums too difficult to sift through now, there is too many things going on and the new UI is irritating when trying to read- I can't concentrate)

I m currently using it .
It is definitely worth trying it.

Samsung camera requires touchwiz rom.

Best ROMS/kernels are not allowed on XDA.
Please test these things for yourself.
This is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion,and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.

Plzz its a kind request to developers & moderators to develop the separate thread for the DESIRE XDS/T329W so that everyone one can start porting roms from Original DESIRE X & post it to this new thread. I know there is not any modded roms for our model but making a separate thread will encourage the development of roms & also avoid breaking of our dual sim mobile(DESIRE XDS/T329W) when we blindly look for roms & try to install the Roms meant for single sim version(Original DESIRE X).

Hello. I recently got an m8 so i was wondering if there were any custom roms that keep the gesture when the phone is locked but also gives vanilla android experience. Also can you list a couple of good roms to use. Thanks

Enter a Rom thread and if what you read is what you think you might like than give it a try.
Please do yourself a favour and make a backup before you do anything ?
