[APP] Cantata
This is the Ubuntu version of Cantata, a Qt based MPD client.
Before this port, Cantata has been available on Linux, Windows and Mac. Now you can as well run it on your Ubuntu phone or tablet.
According to the official MPD website, "Music Player Daemon (MPD) is a flexible, powerful, server-side application for playing music."

Hi everyone
Important!
I will abandon this project in favor for a new calculator I'm working on (apcalc-qml)
The new Calculator will be a simple frontend for apcalc (with some extra features)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Original Post
So I was toying around with the core apps and when I was looking at the calculator I just thought "well this is useless".
So I thought about what I want from a calculator. This is what I came up with.
The math parser is based on owenge's parser, but his only supported basic math operations like +,-,*,... so I expanded it. Now you can just add new "advanced" functions like log, sin, sqrt,...
You can find the latest version on Lauchpad:QmlCalc
If you have any thoughts or ideas I'm open to suggestions.
Update:
For easy installation you can now use the ppa:
Update
Added some kind of landscape support.
Installtion
Code:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:hansueli-burri/qmlcalc
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install qmlcalc
And here are some screenshots:

Nice work!
Have you considered joining the Calculator core app team? I'm sure the team would benefit from your experience with QmlCalc. Feel free to get in touch with me directly if you're interested.

Major Kernel error found... Need time to fix it
The goal behind this project is to make a Cheap and Fast computer for Android Developers in hopes of inspiring more ROM development. I really need help to make this a reality my goal is to make at a Pi based desktop (maybe down the road a laptop). My idea is to have a 3D printed case and the pie preinstalled with the latest version of DevBerryPi.
IT IS NOT MY FAULT IF THIS BREAKS YOUR PIE(S)!
Nice to see this development!
Excited to see this, did you ever get time to fix the error you discovered?
I'm also interested. Any updates? Will there be images for both the RPi and RPi2?
Thanks
You can develop on the PI depending on the OS but hardware limitations will never allow you to make it "fast"
