Can not get into recovery mode - Sony Xperia Z Ultra

No matter what i do on my new c6833 ultra i can not enter recovery i did unlock bootlader with flashtool and flashed generic hk 4.4.2 ftf. But when i power on i get no led light, just sony logo, then xperia logo and that's it phone boots into stock os . I have tried everything any help or suggestions

There is no recovery mode as standard, just Flashmode (no notification light) or Fastboot Mode (Blue notification mode) both require a PC connection to install ROMs.
To get a recovery you will have to use one of the above modes (usually Flashmode Fastboot) to install one.
Instructions for getting a recovery are easy to find within the XZU section.

except that kernels/recovery are normally flashed if fastboot mode.
Have a look for jackie's kernel/root thread

[Q] How can I fastboot my XU on Mac OS X? Standard procedure not working

I'm trying to get my Xperia U into fastboot mode. I'm using a Mac. I've tried it using both standalone fastboot and FlashTool's fastboot mode, on two different Macs, but it never works. I turned off my phone, pressed down the volume up button, then connected the USB cable to my phone and the computer. Every time, instead of having the LED bar turn blue, it doesn't light up, the SONY logo appears, and I see the charging icon (i.e. not a complete boot). However, it's able to boot into flash mode using the same procedure except for volume down. How can I get it in fastboot mode?
Edit: The service menu says unlocking the bootloader is disallowed for my phone. I don't want to unlock it, but I'm guessing that's why it won't enter fastboot mode. How else can I downgrade my kernel? Can I place the kernel.sin in a FTF package and flash it using flashmode, or does flashmode only work for entire ROMs?
I was able to solve this using the two kernel FTF packages from the first quote in the 6.1.1.B.1.54 thread. I downgraded my kernel, rooted, then reupgraded it, all using FlashTool. Now my phone is rooted and Sony Bridge recognizes it as fully upgraded.

[Q] Help needed with Flashed ST15i

Hi everyone
I have tried to Root my ST15i with auto root aplication runme.bat but when it copmletes the phone was not rooted. Then i tried to unlock bootloader with SE Bootloader_Unlocking_Relocking and i sucseeded. Then i have run Flash Tool and after that the phone wont start up anymore. It can only be connected with PS over USB, and than blue and green lamp shine (vol up + USB shine blue/ vol down + USB shine green)
flash a kernel with a recovery mode and then flash stock rom ftf file or a custom rom from the recovery mode.
The blue one is fastboot to flash kernels and green flashmode to flash ftfs.
So since ur bootloader is unlocked, try flashing a custom kernel. And then flash a custim rom through recovery in the kernel
Don't forget to hit thanks

Have you installed drivers correctly? What operative system do you have in your computer?
If you have not, go to C:/flashtool/drivers and intall them (you have to check your device and 2 last options in the installer (fastboot and flashmode)

Whatever Anyway thanks for help. I'm going to leave my phone turned on all night so it will totaly discharge and then i will try to charge it and put into flashmode. Maybe this will work. I'll post the results if i'll fix my xp.
Phone is working!
When i tried discharging phone, that didn't help so i gave my phone to my friends dad because he is a good phone technican, and fixer. So what he did? That was akward moment
1. When he conected phone to his pc (win xp) the computer detected my phone (my computer wasn't able to detect)
2. Then he just flashed some files. But not with Flashtool. He used program called SE2tools or something like that.
3. The phone booted up and now is working sucessfully

I think it was a driver problem after all. Next time if you have this problem again, even if you have already installed the drivers, try uninstalling and installing again... Windows is crazy , especially win8 which I'm hating more everyday lol

If you're boot loader is lockes you can use SUS then create the FTF file to flash with flashtool next time you need it.
If it's unlocked, use PCC to repair until the stage it ask you to connect the phonem then build the firmware FTF to flash with flashtool.

1. Flash boot.img from .zip via Fastboot ---- LEFT OUT THIS ONLY STEP BY MISTAKE and done the subsequent steps.
2. Enter CWM
3. Make a full wipe:
4. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
5. Wipe Cache
6. Wipe Dalvik Cache
7. format /data (advanced)
8. format /dache (advanced)
9. format /system (advanced)

I'm unable to access CWM. I can't power off, I can only restart, but getting stuck at Sony logo everytime.

When I did Click 4, I got an error in the Flashtool saying, This action needs a connected device in ADB mode.
When I did Click 5, I got an error in the Flashtool saying, This action can only be done in fastboot mode.
When I hold Volume Up/Down key and connect to PC through USB, only red LED lights up. It is not connecting to Fastboot mode, and neither to Flashmode. Please help!

Dude your a bit confused.
The only thing you may need flashtoo is first step (Flash boot.img from .zip via Fastboot ) all the rest is done in CWM recovery.
I don't know who told you to drain your baterry, but do not ever flash anything with baterry less than 50 percent, prefferrably fully charged.
Flash stock first, copy the zip to your SD card, then follow steps 1-9+.
For step 1 you need to extract boot.img from the rom zip on your pc.
To enter CWM recovery (after you flashed the boot.img), while device is booting (Sony LOGO) press volume down every second or so untill you are in CWM.
To nevigate in CWM, select - home key or power, move down - volume down or menu key, move up - volume up, exit/return to previous menu - back key or select at the bottom of the menu.

No No bro listen, I did a mistake while installing the Custom ROM.
I forgot to flash the boot.img and did full wipe even formatted the system. Rebooted the system without installing the ROM. Now, stuck at Sony Logo. (NOTE: During this I had the battery charged full)
To rectify the above issue, I tried to flash the boot.img through fastboot mode in Flashtool and install the Custom ROM through CWM. To connect to flashtool, the device should be switched off. Now, I cant switch off. I can only restart. Hence, I drained the battery completely and tried to connect to Flashtool. When I hold Volume Up key and connect to PC through USB, only red LED lights up. It is not connecting to Fastboot mode, also when holding Volume Down key and connect to PC through USB, only red LED lights up. It is not connecting to Flashmode.
Please help!

No you do not need to drain the baterry, nor do you need to shut down the phone.
In the link you have provided it shows you how to boot into fastboot via adb (Click 4).
Recharge your phone and follow the steps given there.

Turn the phone off, no need to drain battery, just press power + volume up until you feel 1 + 3 vibrations, open flashtool and connect in fastboot mode (volume up while connecting USB)
Do you see device connected in fasboot mode in flashtool log?
Did you install fastboot drivers from flashtool?
What is you windows version?

Xiaomi Note 3 Bootloop after installing TWRP and bad flash

Hi all,
What I did:
- Install TWRP
- Installed a bad ROM through recovery mode
- #brick
Now:
- Stuck in mi logo bootloop
- I can't get to EDL
- I can get to fastboot, but I can't seem to run any commands on my PC
- I can't get to recovery mode
EDL Mode
- I can't seem to get to EDL mode where the red light flashes
- I have tried going to fastboot --> Removing power --> Power + and Power - and Power. Wait for Mi logo to flash twice, and it goes into "Power off mode"
- When I connect to USB again, it connects to the PC and charges
- In device manager, I can see Xiaomi Composite MDB Interface
- No connectivity over adb command
Fastboot Mode
- I can get into Fastboot
- Connect Fastboot into the PC, I am unable to run any adb or fastboot commands.
- Fastboot devices shows nothing, adb devices shows nothing
- In device manager, I can see Android Bootloader Interface
I've tried many soft options and have read through probably 30+ guides. I have not tried the test point method because I do not want to void my warranty.
Anyone experience this and can help?
Thanks!
Try re-installing the driver and see if those adb/fastboot commands work.
U said u installed TWRP right . Then u can go to recovery by pressing volume up+power button and then install another custom rom or stock rom but if u have unofficial unlocked bootloader then flashing stock rom will relock ur bootloader and device will not bootup. So go for another custom rom like resurrection remix its super stable n smooth too.
Follow these two tutorials.
http ://en.miui.com/thread-274589-1-1 . html
http ://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1 . html
To enter EDL mode, you need to unplug the battery, wait 10 seconds, replug it. Then, remove the USB plug, replace it, then while holding both volume + and -, plug the phone in the computer using the original cable.
Make sure to check what you're getting in device manager. If you get USB_BULK, you need to download the drivers. If you're getting diagnostics, you did the earlier procedure wrong so try it again. If you're getting 9008, you've gained access to EDL.
