For the noobs
Q : I can't download the rom and gapps, help me...
A : Ask Google, don't report about it, report to me if the link is broken

Q : Why I can't install this rom, it's says status 0, 6, 7, etc
A : All my rom it's used the latest artas182x recovery, version 6.0.4.5, i never change the recovery, so make sure you have installed recovery 6.0.4.5 from artas182x or the official from Cwm(ClockworldMod), but make sure it's the the latest version.
If you're using TWRP, make sure it's the latest version...
Q : Ok, where's the recovery ?
A : Use "SEARCH", it's under the "Login" or ask Google
Q : I've used artas182x recovery, but it's can't mount my sdcard, how about that?
A : Use/choose sdcard01, it's recovery bugs. Go to recovery thread for details

I just installed this rom and for sd card emulation its disabled.
testing now will report extra later...

It's all just rom port, you can build too and it's not too hard, that's why I've made so many roms

Same like my other roms base on jb, cause it used official cyanogen rom
and bugs more less same too, cause i port from the same device, galaxy tab 2

Which device are the ported roms for? Can i just use any rom from any arm7 device to port? Which device has the same dimensions as ours?

You didn't read the thread with carefully, ok I'll explain it
1. Find device with same CPU, LG L9 have dual core CPU, so find it, for example, Motorola Razr(I'm used on Mokee n Paranoid), Galaxy Tab 2(I'm used on Xperience, AOKP, Hellfire).
2. Forget about screen size(4", 5" or 7"), the important is screen DPI, it has to be used same DPI, LG L9 has HDPI, find it the HDPI device
3. Same OS version, KK with KK, JB with JB, special for JB, see the version of JB, example JB 4.2.2 with JB 4.2.2
4. Make sure you have installed software on Windows/Mac, for porting, you may need just 2 software,
- Note++(for editing build.prop & other files like .txt, .bin etc)
- Apktool (for decompile n recompile .apk n .jar files)
5. Open mind

Porting ROMs is just as hard as compiling. Especially from other devices and trying to squish bugs.

Alright thank you! I got carbon booting. but when it does boot, systemui constantly crashes, so i have to find some way to fix that

Don't try to port the device which doesn't have extsdcard like Nexus series, you may get storage problems, and you need more times to find how to fix it

I used droid razr. and i'll try copying that lib! I ported Carbon.
EDIT: Also the home button doesn't seem to work, but the back and menu buttons do

It's yours now, I was guide you until you get success on porting, and I think it's enough.
For fixing the issues, you must do searching.
That's the best part of porting, you'll get more experience.

but be sure, you have to ask for the permission from the original developer before release it,
Just give me the link when it's done I'll put on the first pages and also I'll put your name too on the credit
