app or xposed module with working CRT animation? - AT&T HTC One (M8)

I'm running skyfall and it's not baked in. Gravity box CRT doesnt work. Has anyone used a different app or module to get CRT animation working? Thanks!

I used this early sense 6 toolbox for xposed here on my VZW M8 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2705270
and under Various Mods there is a CRT animation and it is working for me.

[Q] CRT Animation on/off on SG2

I just installed the Litening ROM for my Galaxy S2 I9100...
It has the Gingerbread CRT off animation, but it doesnt have the ON animation!
That kinda feels unfinished; and I saw videos online of how the CRT animation works BOTH ways! Is there any way for me to get the animation for /on as well?!
Please let me know!
Cheers!!!
Hmmm.... I didn't see CRT ON animations yet. CRT off animation was in Nexus S first of all and that doesn't have CRT ON animation even. Actually, that animation is like a fade out transition and won't seems nice to be a fade in animation.

Naw mate; there "IS" a CRT ON animation as well!
Search "Android CRT Animation" on youtube; (Cant post links yet coz I am new here)
Thats the one I want as well... Could anyone tell me a way around this?
CRT on animation was something you could switch on in Cyanogenmod settings iirc.
Not sure if it relies on the CM framework or anything though.
yes CRT on animation is part of cyanogen ROM. just have to wait till that ROM is available for the SGS2.

The Cyanogen mod IS coming for SG2 though isnt it?! I did see the thread on development...
But I'm quite happy with Litening... Lets see if its there in the next version
But there's no OTHER way to?
Development of CM7 for the Galaxy S II is underway. See the thread in the android development section for more details.
not sure if it's possible to enable it via another method... depends if the CRT on animation depends on the CM framework.
The stock android has just a screen off animation. And that's realistic i think. I can't remember that our tv had this effect when we started it. Just a long time black and then the picture appeared emidiatly

Xposed for Vzw

Has anyone tried the Xposed framework with any mods found on the ATT forums
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2285074
Just wanted to see if anyone tried it and if it was working properly
Tons of us have tried it and it works fine.
The only thing I've tried that didn't work was hiding the wifi connected notification, but there is a flash for that somewhere around here. I've also noticed my statusbar hiding and coming back quickly occasionally, but I'm not sure that's Nottach Xposed related. I'm also using the Xposed no increasing ringtone and multi window mod. Both seem fine.

Ditto. hide wifi was the only one that I wanted that didn't work. Beans rom has that covered though so don't need it from Nottach.
AT&T WiFi nag is different so it's not that it doesn't work, we just don't have the same notification. We have a constant notification telling us to turn on WiFi where as theirs only comes up when they connect to WiFi.
are you guys on stock rom? or custom roms cause i'm on stock

[Q] How to turn off CRT animation [Hyperdrive ROM]

Used to love it back when I had my HTC thunderbolt but it has really grown old and I don't want it on my galaxy s4. I love the ROM I have but I want to get rid of the TV animation when locking my screen.
Can anyone help?
Go into hyperdrive control, Advanced Mods, Xposed Tweakbox, CRT effect. Enjoy.

That's one of the more desirable features for most, but can't please em all. But without knowing what phone you have, what update it's on, if you have a custom rom or recovery, etc, there won't be a way to even point you in the right direction. There isn't a generic setting to just switch on or off to change this feature as it is themed in the SystemUi.apk and / or framework stuff, depending on what you have.

Well, then that should be fairly easy, as it has the Theme Chooser built in. There are hundreds of themes that will work on that, including ones for CM10, and many have solid status bars. Another option, if you don't want to theme anything else would be using something like this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/app-gravitybox-v2-9-1-tweak-box-android-t2316070
It needs the Xposed Framework:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/framework-xposed-rom-modding-modifying-t1574401
Keep in mind, using ART instead of Dalvik runtime will cause Xposed not to work properly.

I installed it, but I don't see any tweak related with that...
Ok, after you install Xposed, you have to install Gravity Box (KK). You can download from inside the Xposed Framework under Downloads. Once you have the framework and GB installed, you need to make sure under Modules that GB (KK) is switched on, then reboot. After you reboot, everything will be activated and you can go into the Gravity Box interface and under Status Bar Tweaks > Statusbar colors > You can click to enable and set your colors.
There are lots of other cool tweaks that GB has too. Not all of them are compatible with every set up, so make sure you remember what you are trying to enable, so you can disable if it doesn't work the way you are looking for.
If you want to disable GB, if it does not fit your needs, then you can just uninstall the app and reboot, or just uncheck the box in the Modules section of Xposed in case you want to try it again later.
If that doesn't work, there are some other modules that might, like the Xblast one (also in the Download repo for Xposed).

I did that, but just the icon color changes, but the statusbar is still translucent.

Yea, sorry, I guess mine is doing the same thing. I just tried the Xblast Tools though, and that one worked for me.
Edit: sorry, wrote ^ that before I saw you figured it out. Glad all is well now.
Hi! Is there a way to disable the traslucent status bar on android 6.0.1 (samsung galaxy s6 edge), the black bar was soooo useful to me, I don't want to install any theme, thanks!!

What tweaks do you use from Xposed?

Just curious to see what everyone use Xposed for! So far, I personally use g
G3 tweak box for pretty much everything. I tried to use the Lockscreen Tweakbox but haven't really found a good use for it. What are some things you guys couldn't live without?

I don't really like using Xposed at all, I like running a custom ROM that has the features built in... That said though.. Here I am using Xposed until the bootloader gets cracked hopefully.
I keep the number of modules to a minimum. What I'm running for modules are G3TweakBox , XToast, and Greenify.
XToast adds some fairly cool customization to your toast messages that I think looks pretty cool. The other two I'm sure you already know about.
- Tapatalked from the G3
Xblast, and Gravity Box are my go to, modules, but I also use Android L Navigation Bar, Android L Theme, Disable battery Full Alert.
I have several modules:
Android L Nav Bar
Android L Theme
App Settings
Boot Manager
CrappaLinks
Disable Location Consent
G3 Tweaksbox
KitKat SD Card Full Access
Root Cloak
Tinted Status Bar
Xposed GEL Settings
Xposed Preference Injector

I have froze most of the VZW apps. Other than the defaults apps that added, I have it just incase I run into an app that does not play nice with a rooted phone.

There's also a thread on XDA in the G3 (non-carrier specific) general forum. In the thread the beta 1.2 is available for download which wasn't on the Playstore yet. Just FYI. The dev is awesome about feedback and taking requests. I, like most others, basically opened the app and bought the full version almost immediately. Don't know what I would do without Tweaksbox!
Xposed modules I'm running: (quite a few)
Android Tuner Free
App Settings
AppOps Xposed
Disable Location Consent
Fake ID Fix
G3 Tweaksbox
Greenify
LG Pie Support (along with Tweaksbox gets rid of Nav buttons for more screen real estate! Plus a fan of Pie when there are no hardware buttons. Using PieControl and happy with it)
Master Key Multi-Fix
MinMinGuard (ad remover)
Network Speed Indicator
Xposed Wi-Fi Deep Sleep
