Not a pro here. but my advice. you should flash your stock firmware and root again. if you have unlocked bootloader. you can flash kernels with recovery to install supersu
Related
I have Xperia U awhich i had rooted with Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18 withouth unlocking the bootloader.
Recently my phone failed to start at the screen got stucked on the Xperia logo so i had to repair the installation by updating the phone with ICS from update service.
After that my phone seems to be half rooted, it installs the root apps like SuperSu , busybox but it has lost the su binary files.
The SuperSu gives the error 'Su binary not installed and SuperSu cannot install it'. I know this is a common problem i searched a lot on it and the best solution i fiund was to flash the SuperSu zip file from Clockwork Mod recovery.
But i dont have CWM as i didnt unlock my bootloader while rooting and i tried to install it but it didnt get installed as there was no su binary.
I cant un-root my phone i cant re-root it. I have tried everything but nothing works.
Is there no way i can have root access again?
] PLEASE HELP!!Su binary not installed and SuperSu cannot install it.

you will stuck at the boot image cause u need to unlock boot loader, for the root, you need to aware that the ICS 4.0.1.a.0.283 easier to root but 4.0.1.b.0.112 and above most root software cant do the root, u better install those rom to root, and after you root, just install x-part and u will install the CWM easily through the apps, hope is help for you

Sorry i cant understand what you are trying to say. My problem is i am already rooted and i can install SuperSu but it gives error that su binary is not installed. I tried to unroot and re-root from 'Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18' but the process gets stuck midway and nothing changes.
The only possible solution i found to install su binary was from CWM but i dont have cwm and there is no way to install cwm without supersu permission.
Is there any other way to install su binary?
Or is there any other way to install cwm without it needing su binary?

It gets stuck at the reboot stage. It doesn't reboot the phone when i restore the Root Me file.
When i rebooted it manually after waiting for a long time, it corrupted my phone with icons turning black and phone slowing down. So i had to repair the insatllation again with update service.
If i re-root it with some other method or maybe with 'Bin4ry v31', do you think it will work?
.

ıM Using .314 android 4.4.2
I tried NUT Installer after Rooted the device .
Then When I try to reboot to primary recovery doesnt open phone starts normally
thanks,
Did you install busybox from play store? Installing that causes the recovery to fail. If you did install busybox you will need to uninstall it & then run the dual recovery installer again. Dual recovery installs a specific working version of busybox that works with the recoveries, installing any other busybox means you can't boot into recovery.
So, here I'm stuck with the z3v after my 6plus sold to my uncle. Running E.44 and the root method seem not working, I already install the king root and can't replace with the superSu, keep saying "fail to update, reboot"... and trying to degrade firmware and the flash tool keep said "can't reconize device, check the driver....." Saw topic with instruction to kkng root temperary and "dual recovery" what's the dual recovery is it?
Is it possible that verizon will open bootloader for z3v??
install kingoroot and then recovery and then install prerooted firmware through recovery
no need to unlock boot loader... it's direct method

Follow my guide as worded. You've done the first step in rooting it with Kingroot. Now you need to use the dual recovery installer to install the custom Android recovery, TWRP. Then you flash my prerooted Lollipop.

You should just install TWRP with Odin and use TWRP to flash supersu zip, that's more or less what cf auto-root is doing anyway. Boot your phone into Odin mode (home, vol down, and power), connect your phone to PC with USB, and install twrp-3.0.0-0-klte-klte.img.tar with Odin (AP button, auto-reboot option disabled). When the status bar is filled, you need to immediately boot into TWRP without rebooting system (this is where you hold down home, vol up, and power). In TWRP, install supersu zip file.
If you reboot to normal android before booting into TWRP and flashing the supersu zip when TWRP is first installed, the operating system will overwrite TWRP with the stock recovery, and you have to try again.

You said you installed the supersu zip in TWRP, are you able to run the supersu app in normal android? Because if so, you're rooted

when i run supersu a message appear that there is no su binary installed, and supersu connot install it. if you just upgrade to android 4.3 you need to manually re-root.
the current version is 4.4.2 bn3
