re-lock bootloader without root access - HTC One Max

Hi
I managed to get back to stock rom (restored from a backup), flashed the stock recovery and now i'm unable to relock the bootloader (no more root/superuser)
is there a way to lock it back without htcdev?

run fastboot comand:
fastboot oem lock
it will give your bootloader status to "re-lock"

I got relocked status, I want locked status if possible

unlock again using htc dev, then lock using scotty123's method posted here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2540004
on scottys page, look at page 7, at bottom, download link for his lock/unlock tool.

[Q] Lost fastboot and bootloader locked

Hi,
I was in stock IO limited 3.1 and flashed Task 7.1 first and Overcome ROM (latest) to give it a try.
After Overcome I realized that I had no longer access to fastboot option in bootloader, only revocery and odin. I think the problem came here:
http://p7510.teamovercome.net/?page_id=18
http://p7510.teamovercome.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/odin2.png
Also I lost nvflash posibility, getting rmc 0x4 error all the time (guess it is locked)
Is there anyway to get fastboot back? or to unlock bootloader so I can get trough nvflash?
Now I am trying this threat http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1119492
But cannot get fastboot or nvflash to work
Thanks in advance
i will be waiting for an answer as well. My bootloader was locked by the touchwiz update

AFAIK we cannot unlock a locked bootloader as of now. And why do you need an unlocked bootloader?

What I want is fastboot and not recovery in bootloader, and with a locked bootloader cannot use nvflash in case anything goes wrong.

Fails 2 boot

Tried to change rom first time and got this massage : Fails to 2 boot entering to RSD MODE.
What should I do?
The device was Android 2.3.4 from ORANGE
Is your bootloader unlocked?
As stated above you need to make sure you have an unlocked boot loader in order to flash any ROMS onto the Atrix. Here is a guide on how to accomplish this task:

My bootloader is Locked cuz I dont have any Unlock at screen when it starts.

You can have an unlocked bootloader and not have "unlocked" on your boot screen.
Please see the following thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15573674&postcount=1
The only true way to know if your bootloader is unlocked is to check /sys/firmware/fuse/ReservedOdm.

But still he will have to flash the pudding file to make work the unlocked bootloader which is given in the unlocking thread and will display "UNLOCKED" on the bootscreen. He is on failed to boot screen how can he check ReservedOdm he will find about the bootoader when he will use the fastboot command for unlocking which will display "already unlocked" if his phone bootloader is unlocked.

Relocking Bootloader V20j?

Hi, I awant to root my H901 by unlocking bootloader (V20J). However, my concern is can it be locked again as I will sell it after a month or so and I don't want any bootloader unlock alert at startup? Has anyone tried to relock? Plz let me know, thanks.

To relock the bootloader follow the following instructions:
Put your phone under the fastboot mode
enter the following commands: fastboot oem lock
Keep in mind that while your boot-loader is locked, you will not be able to root or flash ROMs to your phone.

Thanks. Yes I can unlock the bootloader again to gain root but I have read in unlock thread guide that relocking might have unknown results. Have you or anyone else tried relocking personally?

You should not re-lock you bootloader if you have root but if you are going to trade in your phone or sell it then you should definitely re-lock your bootloader after you flash a stock ROM.
Bump..... Anyone successfully relocked bootloader without any error and got rid of unlocked bootloader at startup?

Tamper Warning and Relocked

Hello,
I am not sure if I am in the correct section so please redirect me if I am. I installed CyanogenMod on my Desire 610, and when I tried to get back to stock, the .exe didn't work. I read that I needed to relock the bootloader in order to use the software so I did:
Code:
fastboot oem lock
Now I am stuck on the white screen, almost in a bootloop, like a soft-brick..
Code:
*** TAMPERED ***
*** RELOCKED ***
*** Security Warning ***
and S-On
I can't get out and I don't care if I lose data but does anyone have any ideas?!?
Thanks,
Desoto

did you try to unlock bootloader again?
So you are attempting to ruu back to stock?
Unlock bootloader again and reflash the original recovery.
The stock recovery MUST be installed before relocking or it'll lock you out.

Is it possible to lock the bootloader on that phone or not ? If yes ,how ?
EDIT : I tried with fastboot commands oem relock but it didn't work .I removed the root but still need to lock the bootlodaer
Hey, you can flash official firmware into your device and get back to the stock firmware without root. But you can't re-lock the bootloader. I have tried so many command in fastboot and any of em doesn't work.

I was able to remove the root manually so no need to reflash stock frimware, but about bootloader still not successed to lock it even via flash tool BLU option. There should be warning that you can't lock it once its unlocked damn..

Yes indeed. I've tried that too. apparently you can't relock the bootloader in newer devices. Only thing to do right now is, hope that Sony will release some kind of commands to relock the bootloader. Unless there's no other way.
