Guys i have searches the forums before poating..i am a newbie.
Today i rooted my karbonn titanium s5 plus...by directions from this website....now i want to upgrade my stock jellybean ro. To kitkat or something better like MIUI OR cyanogen.......now tutorials for titaniums s5 for installing clock work mod are given ....but for s5 plus..there is nothing...
So i request u guys to please guide me easily...i am really new.........and suggest me some good looking roms for ex ios theme or something......please reply i am very excited to get new os....... I will wait for reply

And the link is for rom.....i dont have recovery so how can i install it? I need to know how to install cwm recovery on my device ...or should i go with twrp?

I know it's for S5 but I believe it will work on S1 too? My device is rooted, I've followed every process but when on the step of restarting, I do but there comes the screen of Android Reboot and it has several options, I click on Reboot but there's no change, the decide and the theme remains same, no update to Kitkat theme. Any idea?

How did you flash the ROM and what happens when you reboot!?
Even though i have heard that s1 and s5 have lot of similarities, I Don't think they support each other's roms.
You can try porting this ROM for Karbonn Titanium S1..

check out this zip....just go into recovery and flash it and your device is now rooted.....if any questions please ask..:angel::angel::angel::angel:
I have s duos still it is not rooted and it is out of warranty so I was thinking to root and get 4.4 or 4.3.I have not done any customization on it. As 4.0.4 now about get outdate and offical update of 4.1 is not released I am bored of its ui is also boring so if you give any good ui that would be bonus. Please give the direct download links of rom, rooting app, bootloader, ui and what is necessary. I am at the starter level so try to explain detail as i know very less of all these and if possible do it as early as possible because I already wasted my 2-3 days in search about the rom I could not find any proper site. I would be grateteful to u if u will do just that work for me.

I undterstood to root and installing cwm recovery. But i am confused about how to get 4.4 and the ui can u explain it here rather than giving another link. Please say me what is difference in this rom and which will give me nice ui and latest android.

If you only need ui you can always install a "launcher" from Google Play.
If you want also to have the latest android and its functions then you will need a ROM.
The only rom found about your phone is HyperX
If you have rooted and installed cwm recovery then you will install the ROM.
Each rom has individual instructions.You can take a look at HyperX thread to see the procedure of how to install the rom.
I can't give you instructions through a post I'm sorry .Check out the HyperX Thread

Search more for roms...I can't find anything else than the one I sent you :/.If you don't find then you will need to install CM if it is available for your phone or else you gotta leave it

Hi friends. My mobile model is 507s. Xtouch website was already an engineering mode code.'m Using this code to access the engineering mode and mobile phone settings from the default and Mobile Speaker, I have a problem. Now this code has been removed from the website xtouch and I do not have access to this code. Mobile speaker is also my problem. The code starts with * # * #. Who are all these codes?
Still wanna try a custom rom .... which asks for a rooted device ... which brings us back to the topic , ANY ROOT SOLUTION PLEASE ?

You could try porting ROMs from other devices
Make sure to backup first though (learnt that the hard way...)

I flashed mine with a new rom from the device's website (xtouch x718), didnt know how to backup. Ended up with the touch screen not working

Try porting ROMs or if that isn't possible,
boot into recovery and perform a factory reset. That should fix things but make a backup of important stuff on your PC first..
oh and @B4nGaR4nG you don't need root to install a custom ROM.

I have Karbonn A12+ (4.2.2 Jelly Bean, rooted) and I have downloaded Karbonn A12 star stock ROM (4.2.2 Kit Kat).
Now my question is that can I flash my A12+ device with A12 star stock ROM to get Kit Kat.
If so then please help me to the procedure.

1)Just move zip file to /sdcard .
2)Go to recovery (cwm, twrp etc.)with specific key combination of ur repective phn.

3) Select option for selecting file for installation zip.
4)navigate to the file.
5)flash it.
thats it....!

Oh, so u want to try a A12 stars rom on A12+ !!
My suggestion is NO !! NEVER !!
Because kernel matters a lot !! and its kk rom so whole new framework ! never try ! u may search xda abt porting roms. but acc. to me , its impossible to port kk rom to ics...
Even I havent used any rom of galaxy y varient on my Galaxy Y Lite...

But if u are eagered , you may do that on YOUR OWN RISK !!
Again , Completely on your own...
Dont hold anyone on XDA responsible if u hard brick ur phone...!! its XDA rule !!
btw always take nandroid backup using cwm before u mess something...

Never ever flash a ROM of another device.
My flashed her s4 with a stock ROM of a s3.
The touchscreen was completely ruined.
It wouldn't boot.
And made image burns.
Dont try doing this unless you're a developers who really knows what you're doing.

i have a samsung galaxy j100h .
my phone is running on kitkat .
its recovery is twrp (team win recovery project )
my phone doesnt have any custom roms so i decided to make a rom myself
so finally i managed to make a rom based on the stock firmware
i tried installing my rom through twrp but i ended up getting an error
: ERROR EXECUTING UPDATER BINARY IN ZIP '/EXTERNAL_SD/TR3_ROM.zip
ERROR flashing zip '/external_sd/tr3_rom.zip
can someone help me fix this error ??
or telll me what wouldve caused this error ??
could it be an error in the rom ?? if so how to fix it ?? please help

Take an updater-binary from a roms META-INF that flashes without any problem, and for lollipop ui well that's going to be long as you'll have to mod a bunch of system apps.... you have to theme and mod most system apps to match lollipop style, here's a good place to start:
