I bought my A1 MT6517 a month ago. After detecting some problems in it like MAC adress changing periodically, null IMEI, data connection not working properly, I tried to follow some procedures explained around the internet thas uses flash tool to extract and modify the internal ROM.
Don't know how, but now I'm having a bricked phone and I don't know how to see it alive again.
Phone info extracted with droid tool when my phone was still alive:

IBall Andi 4.5Z having jellybean rom to any simply any Kitkat based rom.
I found out that this phone http://www.iball.co.in/Product/Andi4-5-K6/597 IBall Andi 4.5K6 has almost same specs and same mtk6572 chip.
I Downloaded both the stock roms so that I can try porting my self using porting guides.But most of the guides explain using folders but in these roms there are all .img files. Screenshots Below

Hey bro. If u want port jb to kk u have to build kernel first for KitKat. Generally job have kernel version of 3.4.5 and KitKat has 3.4.67. You can conform it by matching both device kernel.
All you have to do is install Linux in your PC and download kernel source from github , find kernel build tutorial and start building....:sly::sly:
And this all is very time consuming. So you better wait or contect your product manufacturer for KitKat update

I wanted to try messing with the phone since its unusable after all (Reason: insufficient storage in /data partition)
What I did :
1. Make a backup using MTK Droid Tool
2. Tried to find stock rom, but only found simillar ones
3. Tried to flash one of the simillar stock rom using SP Flash Tool, and bricked the phone
Ok, so when we all reached this point, we would try to restore the backup I made right?
And so I did, it turns out that the backup I made(directly from this phone using MTK Droid Tool) cant be restored.
Here's why :

BROM ERROR : S_CHIP_TYPE_NOT_MATCH (3168)
P.S. And I also found that only MT3571 & 3572 roms will not encounter this error, and would flash normally
How does this happen? Any suggestions or help will be appreciated.
