X10 mini PRO comes out of the store with the latest firmware 1.1.А.0.8.
and can't be udated Over-the-air :-(
But X10 mini (may be) comes with 1.0.А.1.036
Any idea how to force update Over-the-air, if firmware already latest?
May be tcpdump of update over PcCompanion can help?
yep i know, but i we can crossflash X10 mini firmware to X10 mini pro (keyboard will not work). But now i'm searching for a x10 mini user who is making a tcpdump until i get the device to do it on my own

No way to force the update :/
SE is always using ssl-sha1 crypting in their communication with fota servers. We already tryed to guess the right chat but no luck. For now we can only dump the mainpath to fota.package and then we know it for all firmwares
PC-Comp. won't help, cause i'm working on dmclient. I think i have found the key to root a few hours ago. Now we need fota and firmware dump to roll back to the rom where fota updates from

But now it's UK firmware and loose my Russian Warranty
But OTA update not available im my region :'(
OTA over WLAN is always available, because it only knows firmware version.
Hmm if not it weird.
So you are now on UK firmware?
Try to go into OTA Settings -> Networks -> WLAN Only
Then search again, if you got it:
tcpdump -D
-> you will get interfaces
tcpdump -w dump.log -I *INTERFACENUMBER*

And quick copy 2 files between SEUS download firmware from SE and load it to phone.
UPD: But SEUS says now that Update available!
UPD2: OTA can't find network without SIM installed!

How to do that
Hi, I guess I may do what you ask for. I've tried udpated the phone using OTA. It told me I already have the latest software installed, so it OTA should be available by my guess.
What is the exact way to get the dump. I have no idea where tu put the commands in. I've left Win Mobile a few days ago (after 6 years) and I'm very new to Android

If you got this message there is not OTA for you :/
Some people here claimed that there is OTA, thats because it requested someone of them to capture it with tcpdump.

No OTA in Spain as well
Tried with Movistar, but it was already in 11A08 and said "already in latest version"; debranded to 10A136 and tried again but no luck,same message trought OTA. Update detected in SEUS from 10A136 to 11A08, updated succefully to debranded version.
Could it be that OTA examines both the Fyle System Version and Software Version? I entered service menu and the data was:

So it seems that the software version was downgraded, but it kept the 11A08 in file system. Checking it in Settings-> About the Phone it was still marked as 11A08 Compilation.
Sorry for the long post, maybe it's all a nonsense, but just trying to get the OTA info I stepped into this and seemed curious... I'll keep checking.

Help Please. 7012 stuck in fastboot. Was only able to flash CWMR 2.5.1.3, (don't ask how), and I cannot flash any other rom, zip file, update.zip, or any .img files that'll actually stick. I've used both the install from sdcard option in CWMR, and the fastboot commands. Maybe I screwed up my partitions, I have no idea. I've sucessfully rooted devices before, but the limited supportt is kicking my ass. I'd appreciate any and all help. Thnk u for reading

might be possible. All Android partitions are visible and mountable in linux. I guess you can't make changes to system partition, as android has protections in place that will revert previous system state, but I'm sure there are ways around it.
did a stupid thing, after Oreo update on my MiBox S MDZ 22 AB everything went down, wifi connection drops in every 10 seconds, so I used a version of android from a MDZ-16 on a stick and tried to flash on a tutorial found on the web. It started to flash for a few seconds and total brick!
Now when I plug it, have no signal on hdmi, no led on front, nothing. (
Can I restore the life in the box or no? Is it totally lost?
Are there any test points for MDZ 22 AB?

Your board is not mdz-22-ab, so I can't help you with that. I have tried lots of contact points before I discovered right ones. Don't be affraid to experiment, you will find correct pins eventually.

You can successfuly boot any s905x image from yadi.sk that uses same kernel version. some of them have kodi preinstalled, but drivers for wifi and sound do not work, so it's not very practical.

all information on mdz-16-ab is also applicable to mdz-22-ab, as those boxes are very simmilar.

MDZ-22 ab crashed

I new in the rforum and need support.
I think I crashed mz mdy-22ab bz upadting new version via USB, since this i cannot enter reoverz mode.
I followed the describtion to enter via UART and Putty and got the following.
Due the fact that i am not an expert i don^t know wht the puttz.log means.
Maybe some experts in the forum can help me.
