Thats what i said lol!!
Supposedly this will never be officially released to the public. It's for OEMs and the only way to get it will be to buy a phone that it comes preinstalled on.

As long as its not tied down to the OS like sense or tw, im sure it can be ported.

^^^ LOL right on!!
Wow, SPB sure has gotten fancy. Looks nice, but complicated.
I disagree with that guy who said it would be an OEM thing, and that it will only come pre-installed on phones. SPB does most of it's sales to end-users.
That's actually the reason I never used SPB on my HTC Wing - it's payware, and I generally pass on that.

damn the iphone, and anyone who thinks my vibrant IS an iphone just because of the similar body.....it is blasphemy
------------------
This does look quite sexy, it would be great if when it is released we could get it on our phones....at the least, just to toy around with it, even if it does end up being a little corny
Looks like it will be pretty good. Only thing that I don't like is the 3-d seems to be tacked on for a "look what we can do" factor and provides no added functionality.

Why does everybody assume that the big two will get it first? The Vibrant was released first on T-Mobile, it might just be that case this time around too.

correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't T-Mobile USA just bought by AT&T? just sayin'
You think they're going to let an 80 million subscriber company swallow a 30 million one? And plus, that doesn't get in the way of phone releases. There's still a year to go: plenty of time to sell a variant of the SGSII on T-Mo.

Alright so I was off on the subscriber numbers. That still doesn't change the fact that this deal right now is most likely not going to happen. As the articles you posted say, removing T-Mo from the picture would relieve the pressure the carrier puts on the others with its low prices not to mention a significant amount of people that are against the acquisition, including several members of the FCC.
EDIT- Fixed a few grammatical errors.

You are right. do not know why you are being harassed here
TMo will be doing its own business for at least a year.
It will release its own variant of SGS2. I would not be surprised if ATT again has a unique to it shape.

Why bother waiting for a contract-chaining, feature-deprived, update-delayed, support-deficient, bloat-filled, subsidized version? The international version is 100% compatible with AT&T.

Oh I see your point. But "att already has it" is not correct, speaking your language it WILL have it on May 1st.
And to answer your "why bother question" - because it will be 3.5x cheaper subsidized, it can be freely swapped at AT&T if anything is wrong with the set, and it will carry a one year warranty. Some people prefer this to having no bloatware .
And I HOPE since there is no more exclusivity to iPhone, AT&T won't be maiming features of its android phones.
That said, if I hear that AT&T is releasing at end of July, I will probably buy an import
Wow... quite descriptive.
Ultimately, you will enjoy this device more as how Samsung envisioned it. Although, if you cannot afford the international rates, then the ATT / TMO versions will not differ to much aside from the Software. That can always be modified later on.
Does anyone know the reason that the specs listed in this forum for the LG Optimus G indicate that the OS is Android 4.1.1, instead of 4.0.4?
Are you referring to the AT&T version or the international version? I'm on my mobile so I can't see the description.

Both AT&T and Sprint forums have the OS version as 4.1.1
Wishful thinking.
In all honesty, I don't know. I've noticed it almost since day one.
My guess is whoever set up the description read it was supposed to get the update to 4.1.1 and interpreted it wrong and or/didn't want to have to change it later.

Thanks again. Better than the S7, but still kind of high (2.4 used up by the system) in my opinion. Guess it doesn't matter as much if the phone is really fluid and runs smoothly while managing memory well. Seems to me the S7 has some stutters/hesitations that I have not experienced on my LG phones.
Good luck with the root, keep us updated.

Does the phone come with an app drawer out of the box or do you need enable EasyHome or a 3rd party launcher to get an app drawer? If you could answer this as soon as possible I would appreciate it. I have 3 days to return my other device and wait for this one, but if there is no app drawer out of the box, then I'm not getting it. Thanks @G5root

I don't think your troll tactics worked on him. I think the app drawer is a silly reason to pick one phone over the other since it is easily added back. Amoled vs LCD, removable battery vs nonremovable, front finger print reader vs back finger print reader, wireless charging vs non wireless charge, USB type C vs Mirco USB.... all these are good reasons to decide which phone to keep but not an app drawer. Enjoy your sammy device

Re-read all his comment, it was all sarcasm about the lack of app drawer. He has made it clear in other forums too that he hates that there is not an app drawer.... Not a big deal to me I just think out of all the things to hate about a phone that is just weird. Considering it could easily be added back in a future update or just like the last 2 LG phones I have owned... 3rd party launcher all the way.
Either way I'm excited to see it in person

Still doesn't belong here does it? I could post my Verizon model here since it's Sim unlocked and works with T-Mo, so this thread should really be in the general Note 7 area.
So when you say compatible - has anyone put together a list of frequencies for the various models? I'd like to find a Duos model to use with T-Mobile/Bell Mobility (Canada) with the maximum network compatibility. Really excited about this Note 7 - except for the non-removable battery.
