Well i wanna make CM11 for the Zoom and create CWM.
There is only one issue...i only own 1 zoom and i don't wanna brick it.
But there is a good side
S4 Zoom in my country are really cheap
3G Version is 200 euro's
LTE Version 230 euro's
I know how to port CWM and such but i don't wanna brick my only phone i have...
So what do you think guys wanna donate me some cash so i can make some roms and such for both LTE and 3G version?

EFS Backup is possible
Zoom ring as volume controller in music app (WIP and still buggy...)
EFS was not possible yet but i figure out how to do it and where the img files been hold.
EFS backup app is not ready yet because i am writing the code for it as we speak.

well that is what i don't know yet.
in terms if you flash only recovery you only need to reflash recovery.
but we talking about samsung phone's...you never know what happen

Well I had a major problem on my zoom the other day (don't even know how it happened) anyway on boot the phone just got stuck on the samsung logo. Factory recovery and wipe cache and everything didn't work. So I donloaded the latest s4 zoom firmware I could find (on samsung-updates) and reflashed the phone with odin, anyway it worked and had no problem what so ever. And it's funny now i've put another official firmware on it (Galaxy S4 Zoom SM-C101 FWD C101XWUANA1) my battery life has highly improved (almost doubled !!) and it's running smoother, and not heating up as much.

Hi Sorry if this is not the correct place to post.
I have a chinese made tablet, it id's itself as Crane BC1003,
Some how it has lost its system partition, Normal boot it stuck on bootloader,
Recovery boot i get the android robot laid facedown with a big red cross on his back, but adb will see the device
1, Does anybody have a copy of the rom for it? or a rom that will work?
2, Can i install it if found via adb, there is no system partition so i cannot use ADB shell command as it can't find system/bin
3, full instruction on how to flash/install it.
All help to get this going again will help
i am prepaired to try anything

found out pad is a flytouch 7 / supapad vii,
found a firmware download and install guide http://blog.chinistore.com/2012/tutoriel/tuto-firmware-mise-a-jour-de-la-flytouch-7-superpad-vii/ will have to use google translate to read if you don't speek french
there is a download link for the firmware also.
Try flash stock rom via odin.

I have the same issue with one of these; I can not for the LIFE of me get it to flash a new ROM, though! Can not get past the "dead" Android...

Odin is only for samsung devices.
You cannot flash other than samsung devices and even if you do so, it will end up that your phone/tablet gets bricked.

Is it really stable for one plus x E1003 without bugs
hello I'm hoping somebody out there can help me I'm pretty tech savvy when it comes to these phones but when it comes to my soft bricked Alcatel Fierce XL I'm at a loss I've downloaded all the suggested tools I just can't find any firmware or recovery files for it are the ones that I have downloaded some things always missing either the scatter file or the authentication file if there's anybody out there that believes they can help me please let me know.

So my phoen is bricked too but the difference is that I wasnt able to root my phone or unlock the bootloader, and my PC cant recognize it at all when I plug it in via USB, so Im kinda screwed but you guys seem to know a good amount of the the subject. You guys think you can help me please? I really liked the phone and its a shame to see that its bricked, so yeah. Thank you in advance and I appreciate all responses,

Have you tried doing a factory reset from the stock recovery?
If so then your best bet would be to bring it into a MetroPCS since your PC won't recognize the phone. They can flash the stock system back onto the phone.
Any time your going to root your phone the first thing you should do is anable USB debugging in developer options and make sure the drivers are installed for that phone on your PC just in case this happens.

How are you guys able to flash this recovery with a locked bootloader? Does this mean that the bootloader doesn't have t be unlocked for this to work? I remember reading from the Fierce XL thread in the early days we had issues with flashing partitions.

I was skeptical as well. But I guess all you have to do is flash the recovery image. I checked my backup location and the backup file is present. I also sucessfully flashed A.R.I.S.E and Atmos. But the question of CM came up in another forum and I'm wondering if now it may be possible to compile.

Alright, enjoy your recovery. I've yet to see TWRP 3.0 on this device. I wonder why. I built 3.x but it didn't boot, ported this one and it booted.
This is great! I had just about given up all hope for any progress on the Fierce XL and this comes along. Would be great to see a 3.0.X version but this is a start.
@kirito9, if I recall from the other thread everyone was kind of afraid to try the port cause at the time we didn't have factory images available in case things went south.

Yeah, I remember. A device got bricked by one of those recoveries I ported earlier. I'll try again with the TWRP 3.X.

That's great . I have a device tree I think we can use as a base for getting CM12/13 on this device.
I'm not 100% certain but we may not have to unlock the bootloader for this device at all. Well at least fastboot works without unlocking BL s that's a start.

I ported a version of TWRP for it.. now I'm sure it's been posted elsewhere but I can't find the tutorial.. the only way I can get the touch screen to work is if I fastboot boot it or flash as the boot partition... Its on needrom.com there is link. Don t bother to back up. Use flash tool remove battery wait 30sec rellace battery leave of scatter load .exe download restart.
Back to normal.
Now take the stock rom you just got and bench it an force add or flash super su onto you copy of the rom in x system and a busy box. Fastboot and go throught the motions to flashify and root.

great rugged 16 gb phone with writable quad core mtk 6737T 1.5 ghz chip that the entire mtk options are open on. you can clone and mock icc all day.
got mali t720 mp2 gpu ram id 2 gb ddr3 64 bit and 13 mp rear 8 mp front cam 720 1280 hd disply it is bad ass value!
im gonna find the engineering team and who boxed this phone and ships it to TX ill call monday and get some info

Its on needrom.com there is link. Don t bother to back up. Use flash tool remove battery wait 30sec rellace battery leave of scatter load .exe download restart.
Back to normal.
Now take the stock rom you just got and bench it an force add or flash super su onto you copy of the rom in x system and a busy box. Fastboot and go throught the motions to flashify and root.

flashing schok freedom turbo SFT5216
After following all of the instructions. The flash tool begins and is interrupted by the phone (SFT5216) powercycling. What causes the phone to reboot or reset the interface during flashing? Is this anything to do with a locked bootloader?
Are people still interested in this phone? Looked interesting to me, if you guys need anything dev wise (recovery, modded boot image for root, etc.) Let me know and ill see what i can do

i have the xl version i am going to try to root it tomorrow morning at work and hopefully it works out i will come back and update with how it went i was always attracted to this phone as a no trace option as i am against giving my name and credit card to anyone let alone a phone carrier company i am currently run a simple mobile aka tmobile network on it
Saw this phone and already thought it miht have some potential for being another Orbic Wonder. It is supposedly a phone put out by Huawei. I think im going to pick up this exact same model as there seems to be little or no dev done on it. We might dive into it.

Not a problem I understand the fustration and I know I will need as much help as possible with this phone so let's start it off right by getting everyone operational first I have not started Xmas shopping lmao out and about doing that now and then doing my daily ebike run on the trails so figure by 4 or 5pm tonight I'll be home and will get to work if anyone has the process to pull the firm ware before I get started please be in touch

Can you let me know how to pull the firmware properly for you and I will do that before I root mine and if I run into problems rooting I can maybe get ur help
Use miracle box to dump the firmware. I seriously need it please
We have full kernel source on the Freedom Turbo XL and soon hopefully the Freedom Turbo. =]
When i get a minute i will look at putting together firm or when our XL arrive we can dump it in a matter of minutes with UAT.

Sorry I meant to say we have kernel source for the freedom turbo and soon hopefully the freedom turbo XL. We have firmware together for the freedom turbo and we will soon have the freedom turbo XL firmware up here.

Please don't beg for another developer to just make something for you. You'll need to do this for yourself and learn the basic knowledge needed to create an update

Yeah i know really all Sites who someone write Cubot X20 Pro
I dont find a TWRP for this Phone, and i tried port self, but it failed.
[AOSP 10.0] [2019-12-06] Quack Phh-Treble i have now on the Phone after i found on a spain website this Tool "MTKroot 2.4.4.2-cubot-x20-pro" with this Tool i was able to root and unlock the bootloader.
At the Moment it feels like the camera is worser than before, because with the normal Camera App who comes with Treble, i looks like it wont use all 3 Cameras.

Could you please elaborate on the camera quality?
I am considering buying the phone, as it is only 100 Euros now. From what I gathered, Cubot somehow couldn't get all 3 cameras to work properly, despite using quality hardware.
But if you could just use one camera, will the quality match at least a good one-camera phone from maybe 3 years ago?
Did you try to flash AOSP? You do not need TWRP to flash system-quack-arm64-ab using fastboot.
