I really want one that cycles through a gallery of pictures that you specify like I have on my Desire HD.
I just switched from a At&t Note 2 to a Verizon Note 2. I had a 4x4 calendar widget I used alot on my At&t Note. The Verizon Note doesn't have it available in the widget drawer.
Is there any way I can install this widget on my new phone?

Download Google calendar from the play store if you haven't already it has widgets....if you want a 4x4 specifically I would look through the play store calendar apps or just download nova launcher and google calendar so you can resize the widget to whatever you want
I installed Google calendar but it just gives me another 2x3 widget likt the one thats already there. There has to be a way to get the one I had.

Yeah absolutely know what you're saying....I would just download Nova Launcher because it let's you resize ANY widget to any size you want and it also let's you overlap widgets so you can maximize space on your home screen...I love nova launcher because it let's you resize any widget to whatever you want it to be without any distortion but if you don't want to use a launcher then I would suggest googling and seeing if someone has extracted that specific widget....if not...then that's what has to be done

No way around not being rooted. Imo just root and install an international based rom like ACE 4.9. Verizon butchers their rom way to much.

I like having a month view calendar widget in that size as well but also like using aftermarket launchers. The best option I have found is jorte calendar.

why? other apps have been taken from Samsung devices. aNote from the Note 8 runs on my HTC One. if TW is the issue then somebody can pull the app from the Google Play version of the S4.

It seems you are only going to get flamed here. I would see if you can find the apk in the google play edition rom for the S4 and see if someone can give you a hand porting it over. My guess is if it works on that rom it will likely work on any rom/phone

Nope. You can't pull the apk from the Google okay edition since it needs the framework from tw to function. Unless you can get it ported you're outta luck.

Might as well get used to not using it. The Samsung calendar needs Samsung framework. Its call building brand loyalty. Why do you think so many still use an iphone.

I actually prefer the look of sCalendar as well. It's missing some basic functions (like custom repeating events, etc), but I really like the look and ease of view switching.
As this is getting no where and the info is easily searched for and found.

Hi, is this good to go for stock rom g900f (rooted galaxy s5) Odex (normal). Not Deodexed (Custom).

Not to intrude on the OP's work.. but as his link is broken and he has been absent for some time..
I would just point out that there are several other XDA themers with S5 compatible black keyboard threads.
For the members posting here that they are looking for a black keyboard might like to look at one of the other threads,
e.g. Black glass S5 or Themed Google keyboards (black keyboards in S4 forum that work fine on S5)

I had to push them to system/apps. I tested them that way and they worked. Need an explorer with root access and you need to be rooted on a stock rom of course.
