Hey guys,
I desperately need your help :/
It looks like that I hardbricked my tf201.
I guess I kinda messed up the wrong recoveries with wrong bootloaders.
And what I get now is that I can switch on my prime but have no chance to enter fastboot or recovery.
It does nothing when switching it on while holding down the Volume down key.
It only says bootloader unlocked on the left top corner and thats all. From there its stuck.
I looked up some tutorials for unbricking the tf201 but there is always one file missing which all the tutorials uses and that's the "blob.bin".
Should I have extracted that blob.bin from my device before unlocking it and rooting it? :/
I appreciate every help I can get.
Thanks

I have just managed to unbrick my Prime.
I spent about 3 days doing this.
One thing i was really happy with is the blob.bin made with NVFlash about 2 years ago.
If you dont have that then i dont think you can get into APX mode.
Did you make a NVFlash backup or not?

If you can't get into either android, recovery or fastboot and you don't have nvflash backups then you are hard bricked sorry.

I did some searching around the forums and couldn't find anything specifically addressing how to use NVFLASH. Is there a special function it serves? Is there a guide detailing how to use it?

"For those of you who don’t know about NVflash this is the ultimate tool for recovery and flashing roms. This tool can bring your device back from the dead in most any situation, even those hard to fix corrupted bootloader issues. It will allow full recovery of device, backup of all partitions on device and individual flash of partitions."

Thank you. Although, I was looking for an explanation for the Atrix.

It's a NVidia tool and is used for devices with NVidia processors in them. Not specific to the Atrix.

Well actually you can't use it because you probably don't have SBK (Secure Boot Key), nvflash crypts comands whit SBK and if the SBK isn't provided it terminate session and shutdown your atrix.
But if wee could get SBK from Motorola then all hard bricked atrix can bee recovered or maybee wee can port WINDOWS 8 RT to atrix.

Ah OK. It would be great to be able to do that. I always wondered why we haven't been able to but I suppose that it's Motorola's lockdown and NOT an Android thing...

Hi guys, I'm a new user here. I've tried to install a new cyanogen rom on my ATRIX and for some reason got stuck on the main Unlocked screen where it keeps looping over and over and it doesn't go anywhere. I've tried to enter the ANDROID RECOVERY mode in order to swap and reset it, but it doesn't allow me to. Can anyone help me, please? I don't really know what to do. I hope I can find some clues here, it is my only chance.

I really hate to be writing this but could someone help me with restoring recovery? I successfully completed backing up with nvflash and have blob.bin, bricksafe.img, unlock-token.img, factory-config.img, recovery.bct, etc. I then tried following the instructions for Androwook JB and got to the point of flashing the official update when it froze up and now it is stuck in a bootloop. Holding power+down gives me
Code:
AndroidRoot 9.4.2.26r01
Android cardhu-user bootloader <2.10e> released by WW_epad-9.4.2.26-20120525 A03
Booting recovery kernel image
and holding power+up gives me apx mode. In apx mode I restored blob and bricksafe, but I am not sure how to go about restoring recovery with only apx available. I have tried using fastboot commands, but of course they don't work in apx mode. I know my way around this thing usually and was read up on issues and procedures but the crash during install really threw a monkey wrench into things...
Any help would be greatly apprciated!

Yep! Didn't see your post, but that is exactly what I did, except I used the twrp.blob from team win's site. From there I was able to get back on track and successfully got Hairy Bean installed. Forgot though that it would completely wipe the tablet X( Oh well... Thanks for your reply. There is very little on restoring nvflash backups.

Agreed. I was stoked when I used NVFlash to backup required files but when I had to recover my prime I thought "What do I do now, where are the the instructions to fix this?". Good to know it works with the twrp.blob file as well, I'll have to add that to my personal howto.
I was on rooted stock jellybean with jellybean bootloader and tried to flag twrp recovery with terminal emulator way that they describe in their page but didn't recommend. Anyways I've done it like that every time a new version of twrp comes out, anyways now I restart and it gets stuck at first screen where nvidia logo is in bottom right and device is unlocked in top left.
It will not go into fastboot or recovery, I did do the nvflash thing when I was on ics and have all my back up files for nvflash and my computer is picking it up in nvflash mode, if someone would please help me get this thing up and running iv would greatly appreciate it, maybe even donate, I just don't know the steps or nvflash commands to get it right. Thanks in advance.

Cool, as soon as I read your post I said thank god he got nvflash because you was hard bricked otherwise
So i was messing around with my prime. trying to regain root access after the 4.1.1 update, but it seems i have somehow deleted my recovery.
The Bootloader is unlocked, and I can still put it in Fastboot mode, but trying to select recovery just gives me an error like this (see here: http://i.imgur.com/mpYCd.jpg)
If I try to boot Android, I get the Asus logo in middle + nvidia logo in bottom right.
Is there anything I can do here, or am I completely screwed?
(sorry that this thread gets posted so often, I searched, but I couldn't find anything specifically relating to this issue.)

I dont think he did that
yea, no nvflash
So, now it has caught me. Been careless when flashing the new version of TWRP and I've shot the Prime. Googled 6 hours and read and it seems indeed to be a hard brick. I'm not into recovery still in fastboot. Only the APX mode and it is also recognized by the PC. But I can not communicate with the PC with the Prime to revive it. All rescue proposals Netzt go with me not because you need to either fastboot or recovery. Also, I have no backup on NVFLASH because I did not know. Should really be the only way fit on Asus for 300 € a new motherboard if it were to allow the well worthwhile anymore. Since the device has a hardware defect but yes it is a software problem, yes, there ought to be some way. But unfortunately I have not found the solution.
follow this thred. You can download factory blobs and restore the 4 main partitions.

Gophix, I have read you post the same sort of solution to what you think is the same problem on a few threads in the last few hours and you are wrong mate.
These people do not have blob files created by doing the nvflash process while on ICS. Using a blob file from a stock image is not the same as you need the boot.blob created by doing the nvflash process to even access wheelie and use nvflash.
I think you need to read up a bit more before advising people or at least test it yourself first.
