Google released its new updated stock Google camera (the one on nexus)... and made it available on play store. .. it is for kit Kat. ..
Unfortunately we still can't download from play store unless you have a nexus. . So get it from here. ..and enjoy if you have kit Kat. .

hello,on my xperia sola running on cm11 downloaded the google camera app from play store,but on accessing the settings icon the app craches is that due to my phone dose not support HDR.
I can take a pic and video other than that i cant access other features.

I don't even get blur and panorama features, only I can choose between camera and camcorder and other options that I can access is flash and grid lines.
May be CM has issues...i don't know. .. try clearing data and cache for the camera app in phone settings... applications. .. all. ..

There's a fix out now for the camera issues on cm 10 and 11. I flashed it and like magic, no more camera problems.

Yes, I can confirm the fix for i9305 cm11 current nightly. Google camera now working quite well. If only the compass worked, been looking forward to trying out photosphere.

Download from Playstore worked for me. I'm using CM11 on my N7100. But I think the image quality is better on the previous version of the stock google camera app.

In the link, go to the first post. Download the second file. It will be fixed cam for cm 10 and 11.
Then reboot into recovery using cwm, flash the file, reboot, good to go.

That method is not working for me..
Another idea is that a good soul, set his settings to max resolution, make a backup with Titanium Backup and share the files..
@Perry2547 I installed one of fix links from thread you referred . It destroyed my original camera app . Had so much time to repair it .. please explain the link you say . put it here directly

Hey guys! the flash player in the market has been updated but if your on jelly bean it will say not compatible for your device! So I figured I would post it so us jelly bean users can side loaded it and watch flash on our super phones like we should! I tested it last night and for me works in stock browser just fine.

I installed the Flash player and went to a website with a flash enabled video and it still didnt work. Does this only work for the stock browser or is it system wide application?

I just did a test as well on the flash website, and I noticed that if I used chrome, flash didn't work but if I used the stock browser it worked fine.

I was using Chrome as well, ill have to try the native browser too see if it works for me but i would rather use chrome because its 10 times faster

I use an older version of Dolphin with a version of flash that came out a while ago do JB ROMS.. works like a charm. Works in native browser too..

Yeah flash still works on ICS but its not in the market for jb devices so we side load it adobe's not stupid...they knew android users would do that because the devices are naturally like that so who cares if its in the market lol!

Are you in stock browser? I'm getting note 2 next week! Flash better work in US version Or I'll be pissed!! does it work on other sites or nowhere at all?
so I just played with a US variant of the Galaxy Note 2. I loaded up my flash player on it and it worked in the stock browser so I feel a lot better now.
Guys as you would know verizon didnt add stock samsung photo editor to the phone and its not available from play store either. So i was able to get my hands on an apk if anyone needs.
I have tried it on my note 2 and it works flawlessly.

I have the same problem, even started a thread about this. Would love the original widgets. Now, I have my spouses S3......could I grab them off there? If yes, could you tell me how?

Yeah mine force closes to but its better than nothing. Should be fixed really soon as soon as we get custom roms.

I have the stock calendar widget APK from the Sprint Note 2. It works, but force closes a couple times when you first add the 4x4 calendar widget, but seems to work well after that. I think the issue might be that I got the APK and not the odex file. So I'm running the sprint note 2 calendar widget with the original odex file. I'm waiting for the user over in the sprint forum who provided the apk to send me a odex file. I'm not a developer so I'm not sure if this is really a possible cause for the issue. I'm just grabbing at straws.
Fixed my issues. Instructions are in the general section. Maybe it should be moved to this section. I dont know...
I installed this app just like any other APK and it Force closes. Not only that but now other apps FC like Maps etc. Any suggestions besides rooting and fixing permissions? Also I when the App does work I can only use half of the features. I really want to wait for CWM tar to root.

Was this camera pulled from the leaked 4.3 rom and is there a difference between this camera apk and the apk that was pulled from the 4.2.2 S4 GE? Or are they the same? Droidlife posted the camera from the 4.2.2 S4.
Will these apk's make us with Note 2's lose any features? Also, is it easy to revert back to the stock camera and gallery?

No. The camera will install as another camera app if you're on a TW rom and will replace the camera on a AOSP rom. As for reverting back on an AOSP rom, its as easy as pulling the camera app from the rom zip and putting it back into system/app and setting permissions.

I got that 4.2 Photosphere camera and your phone needs to be rooted. At least the article where I found out about it said so.

Menu>Settings>App Manager.
That's also a method to uninstall apps that you may have installed that were not originally downloaded from Play Store.

Thanks, I didn't notice that the new Camera app was tied to a new Gallery app. When I uninstalled the new Gallery app, the new Camera app uninstalled with it. Weird.

Yep. The cameras and galleries have been tied together for a little while now.
Is this one laggy? the 4.2.2 apk one was always laggy and switching between camera gallery never worked for me

That may depend upon your device. Take it for a spin, although all the ones that I've seen posted in the last couple days all have the same MD5 sum meaning that they are the same app.

This has been working fine on my Verizon Note 2 w/Goodness Rom. I haven't seen any lag.
I Generally use my Xperia Rom or SuperAfnan's SuperSense Rom but the problem I faceing is something weird that I feel.
My gallery Showing No photos/Videos.
And this is not for the First time , I had this Problem so many times ago also.
In 60/100 cases I had this problem on supersense Rom and I am pretty sure that something is conflicting and after this problem I need to reflash the whole Rom, that is the single solution for me till now.
Can anyone solve this ?

It's been fixed in SS 4.0, I might make a 5.0 version later.

Yes thanks to both of you it worked for me..
But after that I feeled that my music app showing 0 files, galley app showing 0 files.. screen shots are not saving due to gallery... Then whats app stoped working...reinstalling the app solved it..
Now strongly wants to know why this is happening?
Because this is not for the first time.. I had suffered this problem 15+ Time on supersense. And 2-3 times on xperia Rom.
Please let me know...because the only solution for me till now is reflash.

It's because you either aren't using the latest version like I recommended, or didn't format all partitions before installing the new version like your supposed to, that's why its happening. The previous build had a known gallery issue so the correct thing to do would be to download the new version.
As for the xperia ROM, I don't know. Shouldn't you know any ideas what you think caused it in your ROM?

Ya...I got it because I have the older version SS 3.3 so It's causing the problem.right?
But I think in my Rom It's due to delvik and buggy gallery app.
Anyway how you fixed in your Rom??
