Hi everyone,
Lately when i receive messages/calls, or when i play music on my phone, the audio doesn't work unless i plug in the earphones.
When talking to the phone with someone, everything works fine, but when it comes to media, it just won't make a sound.
I tried doing a factory reset, but nothing changed. Is this an hardware problem? Is there anything i can do?
Thank you
(Sorry for my poor english)
I found the source of my problem! It's related to the battery charger. What could it be?

hello, i think the problem is caused by the minijack "socket" in your phone. i had the same problem. the phone is simply acting like the headphones are inserted. you have to fix the minijack "socket"
P.S. sorry for my english
try to disable the keypad tones, from settings>personal>phone
and on Keypad> choose OFF.
I've tried that too many times and my phone didn't went silent again.
Please try and feed me back.

Hi all,
Since yesterday my phone no longer lets me hear the other speaker. They hear me, but that's it.
All other services are working fine (data, SMS, ...)
When I use a headphone it's working fine, same when using the external speaker but the ear piece in the screen produces nothing.
I thought it was due to a software failure , so I reverted back to the original ROM from SE (2.1), but the problem remains.
Oh, it's not the in-call sound, I checked and it is at maximum volume.
Anyone know if there is on-board system diagnostics which can detect hardware failure ?
Anyone else experienced the same problem and found a solution ? Been looking but so far nothing.
Currently back at MiniCM7Pro V21 Rom.
Thanks for any feedback
Hi all,
I looked everywhere but could not find a solution to a problem I've been having for a long time now.
I apologise if it's inappropriate to open a new thread but I cannot find any other solution.
I've been using AOKP milestone for some time on my I9300 (S3) device and am very happy with all the features and battery life etc.
I've been having one problem with the bluetooth and am unable to find out the solution or root cause of the problem.
Recently I have even tried a factory reset and flashed the milestone 2 latest rom but still am having the same issue,
Here are the details of the problem;
During a call using bluetooth handsfree car kit or earpiece it's not possible to resume / direct / transfer the call to the devices internal or external speaker.
Once I turn off the bluetooth due to arrival to destination and having to leave the car or battery dying in the earpiece I can hear the person on the other end for 3 seconds and then total silence but the other end can hear me clearly. Once I turn on the BT or external speakers on / off I can hear for 3 more seconds and so on,
What am I missing.
Please help.
did you find a solution to your issue.
I have the exact same, but running on CM10.2
Issue is when I am on a call with bluetooth I can't switch to speaker, or phone while in call. If I do so, they cannot hear me and I cannot hear them. If I switch back to bluetooth everything works again... Anyone else know a fix for this?
I cant find any solution for this? anybody know..
no solution yet
I looked all over and tried different roms and issue remains the same.
I used Omega based samsung and only then it worked fine but I do not like Sam. Based roms.
Please keep me posted if you solve this.
Also another problem I'm facing is, if capturing a video in a concert / club, video sound is very nosiy and un hearable, picture is ok though
Can you verify this too please?
Hi Guys.
I have Sony Xperia z ultra and after the last update i have a strange bug.
when ever i connect my headphones it works fine but when i unplug them the speaker is just mute the loud speaker works fine it is just like i have never unplugged it.
The only way to fix it is to turn the phone off and on again and it works fine until i plug in my headphones.
Have you ever experienced this problem? and if so how did you fix it?
If you haven't do you have any idea what could be wrong?
Sorry for my misspelling and bad English, Thank you
I honestly do not know about thhis problem. For me all it works.
If you do not have a lot of important files or do backup. You can restore the factory settings or the flash latest system into Flashmode.
If the is problem OS this should help.
hello guys. i hope that you can help me with my problem. overall phone is very satisfying. but it has problem with playing multimedia eg:commercials in games, netflix, ringtone, sometimes music, youtube -everything seems to be in slow motion. when I call somebory its all god, but when i try to call somebody on facebook i hear somebody in really deep voice so i cant understand a single word. on the other hand the person i talk to me hears me in really high voice. i googled this problem and somebody solved it with changing nu player to awesomeplayer in developer options under label "media" but i dont have this option. i tried factory reseting, i installed new soft using odin. but still i dont see this option and it didnt fix my problem. from time to time it works just good. and when i connect headset it works very good. also via bluetooth it works perfectly.
does anybody have an idea what can i do ? can i install debranded soft on this phone?
thanks
