I have a root device with 4.4.2 ROM and I want to back to stock 4.1.2 i9100 ROM ...
can I use Odin and the guide in this forum :

to get back to stock 4.1.2 even if I have a 4.4.2 ROM installed on my device ?

Yes, it will. Your phone will heat up to 173°C & flames will shoot out of the USB port & headphone jack. Will suck to be you when this happens (hope you're not holding it).

Also if my phone is Sim free the phone can be no sim free after flash vid odin the stock Rom?
I read in the guide that it can happen , is it true?

whenever im getting bored to custom rom i had flash, I always go to that link to flash it again to Stock ROM 4.1.2
and it goes well.

And how to go to recovery?
1)Shut down you phone.
2)Hold down POWER+HOME buttons together, until you screen blink once and then comes GALAXY ACE....(not just SAMSUNG logo). Now you can release the buttons.
Now you must see the RECOVERY menu. Use the steps, in that thread, what link I gave you.

cooper.ops is same for all

Sorry I have another question. Do I need to unlock my phone in order to flash into KPH? As you can see from my first post my firmware region is not from Europe and the custom rom I wanted to flash requires me to flash KPH first before flashing their rom. And also if im using CWM v4 in KPH, do i need to flash back into v3 before flashing back froyo since froyo still doesn't support CWMv4?

Hey!
You mean UNLOCK or ROOTING. I think you mean ROOTING? If yes, then you dont need to ROOT, before FLASHING to KPH(with ODIN).
If you FLASH custom ROM, they are all ROOTED already for now!
And for second question: you not need to FLASH CWM3. It will be removed automatically, if you FLASH to KPH with ODIN!

I mean unlocking because I heard that some people said that one need to unlock his/her phone before he/she can flash firmware of other region's. Base on your first answer, do you mean that flashing firmware and custom rom do not need root? Because I think I need to root before Flashing custom rom.( Anyway I have already rooted my phone.)

Hey!
You not need to ROOT, if you FLASH new FIRMWARE with ODIN(ROOT after FLASHING, because you LOSE you ROOT, if you FLASHING). And custom ROM-s not need to ROOT, they all ROOTED for now!

Easiest way to root is to flash a rooted kernel, such as CF-Root kernel.
Here is the thread => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399&highlight=CF+Root
In Post #8 you will find CF-Root-SGS2_XW_NEE_LPG-v5.5-CWM5.zip which will work fine for your ROM.
Just download this kernel and flash it with Odin to your phone - as described in the first post.
If you want to remove the yellow triangle and reset the flash counter after flashing the CF-Root kernel, just use TriangleAway app from Chainfire (there is a link to it in the first post).

also if you are planning to use other carrier make sure you have an unlock phone. If not, go to PLay Store and download Galaxy S2 unlock app.

That's not true. You can just flash the stock kernel without flashing the entire firmware.

Yes it's a great chance that the phone is still working but don't know how to root it cause odin stuck at get pit for mapping
Is the phone working after the failed flash, or not?
you can also flash cwm recovery(only) from odin separately and then superuser.zip from that recovery.

My phone still working it turns on all good god bless and hope my phone will not brick cause I know what it is. I have bricked my galaxy note several times and the last time was really bad cause I have done with factory reset and it hard bricked. The Galaxy s3 is an amazing phone love it so much I really want to gain best out of it too. Hello guys, i found the Android Revolution HD rom pretty awesome,it fits my style(stock, fast etc) but i don`t know how to flash it, i have Galaxy s3 i9300 International version Unbranded never locked on any carrier, firmware 4.1.2 i9300XXEMC2 stock kernel, my phone isn`t even rooted...i had a galaxy s1 and s2 before but im not so experienced with rooting the galaxy s3, in that ROM section how to install it tells me i need Custom Recovery, and now my questions are :
1. how i flash galaxy s3 i9300 ? i found chainfire method but i read that it doesn`t support custom recovery ... so what`s the method?

you can flash via odin i think. otherwise, use cf method then flash philz in recovery

One more question stock is installing recovery too? because i upgraded the recovery to cmw 11 or what every it called (for kitkat).
