Search on these forums for the app called bloater. It's also in the market. That app will install it for you.

Erm... are you saying you're trying to use the touchwiz camera on miui? Because that's not possible nor will it ever happen since it requires touchwiz in the entire rom framework which any CM7 based rom does not have.

Hi
I bought the device 2 days ago.
I installed Cm9 the stable ver. And i noticed that some S III features are missing.
For example the feature you can switch to the desktop while watching a video.
Is it possible to roll back to the rom i got the phone with?
Thanks

Yes if you saved your original firmware .
If not use CHECKFUS .
jje

But regardless of rolling back why can't i find the feature i mentioned?
Thanks.

All the samsung features like popup play, smart stay, motion controls, etc. are all heavily integrated into the TouchWiz framework. Only Samsung based roms can have those feature. CM9 is an AOSP based.
Thank you daka
I didn't save the firmware.
What is CHECKFUS and how can I use to roll back?
Thanks

CheckFus is an apps for searching/checking and downloading firmware.
To roll back, download the firmware for your phone and flash it with odin. Remember to backup.

Okay, so I just got my GS4 and installed cm10.1 but I was wondering, is it possible if someone uploaded the apks that I could install select apps like the camera app and watchon?

The short answer is no.
These apps both requires additional pieces and code from the stock ROM in order to function properly.
Hi, did anybody try flashing on the latest CM 4.3 nightlies both the Samsung Apps and ALSO the Samsung Camera?
The main thing I'm interested in is the samsung camera app, none of the camera apps on the market were up to that!
You can't get samsung apps or camera on AOSP. They need samsung framework to function.

They can work on AOSP. It takes a hell of a lot of work. But it can be done.

I'm running CyanogenMod 11, and I wanted to remove the stock camera, I found alot of links on google to do it through Terminal Emulator but It never works. also I want to replace it with the camera from the stock rom, and if I try to install that the app never installs properly. Any help would be appreciated.

You won't get a Sense camera to work on a non-sense ROM, just doesn't work, so you won't get the stock Rezound camera to work on CM.
If you like a different camera app, just install it, and if you REALLY want it in the system, use something like Ultimate Backup or Titanium Backup to make it a system file, and associate camera with it. You could also remove the stock camera app if you want, but why?
I don't like the redundancy, and it saves space on the the device. Its frozen for now but I'd rather exercise my android more than that.

Fair enough... You can remove a system app with either of the two programs I mentioned above as well.
