I keep getting a notification about google calendar sync being in progress. I have sync turned of? It keeps popping up like very hour? But I don't know what its doing. When I click it the notification just disappears?

Still happening here. Can anyone help?

Maybe run this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2723062 and see if you can catch what triggers it?
Tried the event logger and shows nothing at all that points towards the calendar sync?

I just had this notification pop up on my phone, warning me that I've reached 2GB, and it won't go away. I have unlimited data, so I don't care to know this, and I can't clear the notification. Anybody else run into this and know how to get rid of it?

Never mind, solved it. Just had to set a limit and put the warning and limit up higher. Can a mod please close this thread?

Just checked phone now and out of nowhere these showed up on my home screen. They are not in the applications list, I'm wondering what the heck is going on

probably some type of spam from a previous app you have installed

Yeah I had installed AirDroid last night and that's what was doing it apparently, I just installed Airpush Detector to wipe that crap off, hopefully it's gone now and will stay that way. Damn sneaky mofos.
install ad network detector .. will be handy to detect ads in the future
I go into settings, add account, gmail. For some reason it won't let me add a gmail account. I get this error.

I'm trying to do this bc when I use my craigslist app it tries using an email that's added in accounts. It won't open up the gmail app so I can't use that. Any idea why I'm getting this error.
I'm on stock w root.

Did some searching and apparently it is a common problem
try this
http://support.google.com/android/bin/answer.py?hl=en&topic=2500700&ctx=topic&answer=2569768
Or you could use the mail app instead of the gmail app
So there is no fix? This never happens to me before.

On occasional times this happens

I'll edit it and then it will be fine for a while, then it will happen again later.
The calendar widget does it also

Click to collapse
It might be Themer related (or something to do with the theme itself). Either way, the issue will be addressed.
Hi
I've disables some services using the app My Android Tools and I keep getting the shown notification.
I assume this is due to the devices I've disabled.
I've not encountered any problems with my phone in day to day use.
I just disabled all services with 'wear' in the name as I don't have any wearables.
Is there any way to stop it?
