Hey everyone, iv been a sprint user for 4 years. When i renewed my contract 2 years ago with the s3 i said to myself "im an MOD EDIT: PROFANITY REMOVED for sticking with sprint"
So many issues and terrible service and billing.
today i went to t mobile and signed up them and got a s5! glad to be apart of the t mobile s5 section instead of sprint on xda!
I am with t-mobile 11 year and I am so happy welcome to T Mobile

Welcome! I was actually on AT&T for almost 5 years.. But when Simple Choice came out I couldn't turn it down.. I now save more than a hundred a month with TMO and get much more data. Couldn't be happier with the swap.

Ouch Sprint user been there done that
I was on their crummy network 7 years , Made ATT move for 9 months which provided EXCELLENT everything except for data cap & device lockdown.
4 months ago made T-mobile move = Perfection expect for LG G2 kitkats pathetic update that locked recovery pushing me back to Samsung brand , A blessing in disguise I guess.
I was on T-Mobile with my LG G2 but switched to Verizon because T-mobile didn't have any black S5's last Saturday, and once I got my Verizon S5 I realized things that I didn't know which was download booster not available as well as some of the software that is on other carriers. Also Verizon locking down the phone which I didn't realize until later. So I went to Verizon today a week later and returned the phone as well as canceled service with them, and then went straight to T-Mobile and got the S5 from them. Now I'm a happy camper and will never return to Verizon again they will rip you off without blinking an eye.
I have been with T-Mobile for 11 years and LTE in NYC is mature. The only problem is I hardly getting signal in basement (5 years old AWS indoor repeater remedied the problem).
I used Sprint along with T-Mobile for 2-3 years and the service quality is substandard.
I'm the same as OP and im glad to moved from there services. went from 0-1 bar signal to full bars and 40Mbps 4G speeds
Been with T-Mobile for nearly 10 years now. Their service since I first got them has only gotten better and better.
Been with Tmobile for 11 years. I love the service and customer care as well. I also jumped from the S4 to the S5 and I love it! Welcome to the club!

Tmobile's unlimited data is pure awesomeness... 6 or 7 years and switchings never crossed my mind actually switch over friends and family.
I'm basically forcing myself to use T-Mobile because I use somewhere around 9GB per month. T-Mobile's unlimited LTE is $35/mo cheaper than 10GB of AT&T. I travel a lot, though, so I frequently go places where T-Mobile has either no service or EDGE only. Thankfully, that's not a huge deal for me anymore since I also have a Nexus 7 on Verizon.

Damm.... never ever realize how dramatic this change was going to be. T-Mobile internet speed are impressive woow... after been with sprint for more than 10 years i really fell i was been robbed by sprint all that time......
Just switched back
HAD TMOBILE LIKE 5 YEARS AGO SWITCHED TO AT&T AND NOW I CAME BACK AND WOW SERVICE HAS IMPROVED....AT&T WAS PRETTY GOOD WITH SERVICE BUT HONESTLY FOR THE PRICE YOU PAY WITH TMOBILE AND UNLIMITED DATA! ITS A PERSONAL WIN FOR ME OR US HAHA :good:
Made the switch
Just moved to T-Mobile after being with Sprint for 13 years. So far I am very pleased, especially this "wifi calling" feature.
Add me to the list of Sprint customers that made the switch to T-mobile as well. I switched today. Sprint in Atlanta is dreadful. I was getting 0.3 meg download speeds on LTE! My first speed test on T-mobile with my new S5, 30 megs!!! ahhh i can breathe lol
I just switched to T-Mobile from Sprint about an hour ago. I had a S5 with Sprint (was with them for almost a year) and the phone was great but LTE was terrible. I'm from NYC but travel every couple of months (Currently in Augusta, GA) and I need consistent data. I'm happy I switched, I've been meaning to do it for a while. I finally got up to do it today when I got a $500+ Sprint bill.
Can't wait to see how this goes. So far my speedtests have been amazing. 60+Mbs Down & 10 up.

^ Congrats! Very envious haha. When I switched to T-Mobile, it wasn't that great. LTE speeds would not exceed 20mbps and more than often, sitting on 5-10mbps. While that's not bad, it was not enough to make me give up my AT&T 60+ speeds haha. I also found T-Mobile to be so so when traveling in the car or using spotify. The signal was all over the place.[/QUOTE]

I am torn trying to decide whether it's a wise move to switch from T-mobile to AT&T to get the Note. I'd hate to switch then 1 month later the phone comes to T-Mobile. It pains me thinking about AT&T but I really want this phone. Using it on 2G won't work for me. Has anyone switched or are there other people that feel the same?
I replaced my Sensation with an AT&T Note hoping that we can get T-Mobile 3G working on it sometime soon. For the time being, it runs just fine. I am near WiFi 90% of the time anyway, and those LTE speeds aren't too shabby of a backup plan.
BTW, this phone is the best device that I have owned. Even with EDGE and Gingerbread, this is better than my previous combination of a Sensation running ICS and a Transformer Prime.
I am on the the boat... I am coming from Sprint... I wanted this phone so decided to give the 30 day trial a try... The data service is slower than the sprint service here at home... I'm running edge with at&t and its slooowww... But I love this phone... The screen is awesome... I describe it as having a 1080p tv.. I have the the galaxy sii and it feels like running 480 tv. its like night and day... Just my opinion...
If you are thinking about getting the note.. Try to get it at 50% off through the at&t website... Don't cancel your service with t-mobile... If you decide that your going to keep it then you can just port your number over to the note.. And they wont charge you if you do it before the 30 days...
Also if you keep it, and tmobile gets this phone in a few months... You can just pay the EFT of 325... and if you add the 150 you paid it comes out to 475 total for phone... thats good compared to what the retail price is... 699... just something to think about...

I was on TMOUS with my samsung galaxy tablet 7" with cell phone enabled, and rooted.
Switched to ATT for speed, and now I am using the NOTE, and it kicks all other cell phones I have had. love the screen and the response.
@towncop1978 Unfortunately, I have a family plan so ETF would be $650. Also, I tried the 50% off and for whatever reason it doesn't work with a family plan. Unless I was doing something wrong.
I think its worth the switch. That's what I did, I had the GS2 with T-Mobile and canceled my contract sold the GS2 on ebay and haven't looked back.

I switched from T-mobile to At&t for the G-Note. I have a Tmobile G2X and am test driving the At&t G-Note for 30 days. So far its a keeper. Unless T-mobile can pull a rabbit outta their hat and snag either the G-Note or the LG Optimus VU, its adios amigos
I switched I had the sensation which was aggravating after a while... at&t speed where I'm at is a bit faster than Tmobile's so I'm very happy

The Note is a great piece of hardware. AT&Ts HSPA+ speeds are surprising the heck out of me after using Verizon and Sprint 3G for the last year and a half.
If the SERVICE is good or better than what you have now, no reason not to switch! However, dont get caught up in the hardware if the network cant provide whats needed to keep it working. Just something to think about.

I switched from TMo to At&T about a week ago specifically for the Note. I loved my Vibrant, but it was ageing and I had to move on. I went from $50 for unlimited everything to paying twice as much for 450 min/unlimited txt/5g data. On the good side my company pays 75% of my bill so I'm still paying less then I was at TMo, I just miss not worrying about data usage. I never make phone calls so minutes I couldnt care less about. So far I'm happy with it, but would switch back in a heart beat if TMo released the Note on their network.
I came from Verizon had had the iPhone 4S been drooling for the note ever since I saw the international one then AT&T releases it good times got 30 days to decide but it's not looking good for the iPhone
You read the title correctly, it was leaked by tmonews and androidcentral a few hours ago. The question is would you switch to Tmobile for 4G HSPA+ data speeds with not cap or overages, I have to admit that im seriously thinking about it.

No go for me because T-Mobile is the only cellular company that does not offer a corporate discount with my job. So blah. Unless it would end up being cheaper, but I doubt it. Also we still don't know enough. Is it truly unlimited or does it get throttled?

I'm seriously considering switching in Cincinnati...service is so bad I can't stream any music at work and it took me almost 5 min to be able to post this reply due to my 20kbps download speed.
I know its a little more considering I would need two lines but if I actually have WORKING DATA instead of paying for absolute garbage its worth something.
Listen up Sprint this is coming from a 10+ year customer...get your act together.
Yeah this news really got my wheels turning. Truly unlimited data, blazing fast speeds & looks to be cheaper. Only reason why I've stayed with Sprint this long was because of the data & they used to get the best phones but now their phone lineup isn't as strong & their speeds absolutely suck. I know people in Cricket & MetroPCS who have wayyyyy faster speeds at half the cost. With phones almost as good as the LTE. This may be a game changer for me.
Sent from my EVO using Xparent ICS Tapatalk 2
I wouldn't really consider this 'COMPETITION.' Instead, more of a rescue mission to save what's left of that terrible network.
Ok the data is unlimited... So they say... But what about everything else? Sprint offers unlimited everything for 79.99 (who calls land lines anymore and needs more than 450 minutes... Really?)
Shifted from Outer Space
Sprint fan aside, maybe, if T-Mobile had better voice in the downtown area. I would like the option of having an unlocked phone + unlimited data.
My service with Sprint has been pretty consistent & LTE work has started in my city so we should go live in November/December. Plus everything is unlimited, sans calling the office & grandma.
I've been with sprint since 98. That being said I would switch if I wasn't in contract. Sprint has had me waiting 3 years for "4G". Bought my EVO with promises of 4G in San Diego which never came true. Add the abismal 3G speeds that are slower than they where 4-5 years ago when I had my HTC Windows mobile phone. The only big thing stopping me from switching is the fact that I get a huge discount from Sprint through my employer (which isn't that big anymore since they only apply the discount on my primary line and not my wife's or my sister). That and my wife loves her Iphone which Tmobile doesn't have. Oh well...here's to hoping this vision thing works out.
I would switch if I wasn't on contract. It would be a tough decision between the one s and the s3. I love HTC but I need me a huge screen!

I am glad I switched over even though the 4G service isn't great where I live, I can sacrifice that for being able to customize MY phone/tablet/computer/anything any day. ...
If any one sees or hears anything about root/recovery for the other service providers, let them know. I know I would greatly appreciate any information to get my phone working the way I intend it to.
Thanks.

I'm with you. I had five lines with Verizon, all with unlimited data that I only paid 9.99 a month for because I got in on some discount; I switched them all to T-Mobile. It was a tough decision at first, but I had such a terrible time with my note 3 on Verizon, I just couldn't do it again.
Admittedly, the service isn't better, but it is good enough and now I can actually do things with my phone.

So true! I just left Verizon yesterday and signed up for TMobile! SO happy so far. I just feel good
I left Verizon for TMO 5 1/2 months ago, not long after the Note 3 came out. I had a Note 2, and my upgrade date was 4 months away. I was 20 months into my contract, and they used to do upgrades at 18 months. I was with Verizon for years, ever since they first came around. I called customer service to see if I could get my date moved and get a Note 3. The rep told me I qualified for something called Pre-Edge, so if I signed up for Edge, I could get a new phone that day. He gave me his name in case there were issues and made notes on my account. I went to the store, and no one had ever heard of Pre-Edge, nor did they see any notes on my account. When I called CS and asked for him, I was told he'd call back. I never got a call and had to leave the store because they were closing. I called back multiple times over the next 2 days and no one knew what Pre-Edge was or who I was talking about. Needless to say, I was angry. The same day, I went to T-Mobile and switched. I still have no idea what happened with that guy or what he was talking about.
I just signed up with T-Mobile yesterday and got the S5. I have been very interested in them the last couple of months. I have tried on them on pre-paid and its good enough. Much better with an actual T-Mobile branded phone. I am so disgusted with AT&T's BS on locking bootloaders and everything else that goes with that. AT&T is good for those who travel. I do not travel and so far I'd give T-Mobile about an 8/10.
Things I've noticed so far:
Generally weaker signal versus AT&T (most likely due to the high bands) Still works though.
HSPA+ is very fast, but when you hit -105dbm or greater it starts to go.
LTE is not as fast as I thought, but still very good.
Call quality is SO much better than AT&T.
LTE on Band 4 is pretty weak overall, but still usable.
13 more days to see if they work for me.
I hear ya OP. I have been watching here and the ATT forums. I am feeling really sorry for the guys over there right now. I am almost betting they will be lucky to get safestrap working and that for me personally is NOT enough. It feels like a ghost town. Since I have had my S1,S2, S3, and S4 there almost always have been a ROM or more on the first day I owned the devices (usually within a few days to a month of release).
I just called T-Mobile about switching my 4 lines from ATT over to T-Mobile. Checking prices and plans. Looks like I could save some money per month. Soecially if I just bring a few of my devices onto Tmobile (My daughters S3 and Wife's S4. I would pass her S4 to my son and get her the S5 while I get the S5 as well.
No guarantee yet that I will be over here though. Just weighing out my options. I am waiting for the 32Gb version if and when...

...yeah, Verizon user here
I hate being locked down by Verizon. I have a T-mobile sim that I used to test T-Mobile(prepaid) in my Verizon Note 3. T-Mobile LTE is fast, but coverage is pretty sub-par compared to Verizon. When my contract is up in July I am probably going to sacrifice coverage for freedom, I mean come on still no KitKat, Verizon sucks.
I don't know about Verizon but I just left at&t for T-Mobile this past Tuesday and couldn't be happier. Their LTE is averaging about 30MB down where I live, work, and all points in between. With at&t I was averaging about 3 or 4MB on LTE at home. I'm loving this S5 but I think I'm loving T-Mobile even more. I checked the at&t forums and it is really quite over there.
TL;DR Recent family Sprint convert and so far we couldn't be happier with the S5 and TM!
I just switched my whole family (me, wife and two kids) over to TM from Sprint... we'd actually been happy with Sprint for about 6 years, weird as that may sound, but they were now trying to force us to change plans and not give us any deals on upgrades and basically it was going to cost more to stay with them monthly and we wouldn't be able to get reasonably cheap upgrades like before... for the past few years, because my kids' phones were bought almost exactly a month after mine and my wife's, we'd go in once a year, swap our phones to the kids and me and the wife would get new ones... well, they said no dice to this now. Sure, we give up unlimited data (sort of- TM is technically "unlimited" if you don't count throttling) but as it happens, that's a total worth it tradeoff.
After looking at all the options, I could have gotten away a little cheaper with Verizon (surprisingly!), and AT&T wasn't going to be much different than Verizon, but TM made it a deal we couldn't refuse: pay the Sprint ETF's, everyone got S5's financed, and we actually walked out of the store with the phones, Otter Boxes for three of them (I keep my phones "naked") and we actually had a $16 CREDIT on our first bill Yep, no money out-of-pocket whatsoever!
So far, we're loving it... had a minor snafu getting one phone switched over, but that was fixed quick and easy... the S5 itself is of course fantastic, which is no surprise... but so far, for the first time ever we actually get GREAT cell reception in our house even without IP calling (which we do use though), and it's 4G no less! (of course we're on wi-fi to save data, but still, we could barely get a Sprint signal before let alone a strong 4G signal like now). I also love that we get Hotspot for no extra charge, unlike Sprint... call quality thus far has been fine, though we frankly only use about 20 minutes a month COMBINED talk time so it's really not important anyway... coverage seems no different than Sprint so far overall... 4G speeds have been very good, about on-par with Sprint, maybe a hair better even. We only got the 1Gb plan because in looking at the past year with Sprint, only my son and I have ever gone over that line, twice each, and only once was more than a hundred Mb over... so 1Gb should be fine 99% of the time... we'll take the throttling after that if need be but no overage concerns is sweet.
And, of course, I rooted all four phones (screw the warranty, JUMP includes the handset insurance anyway and even though that costs something it makes the warranty a moot point to me) and I wouldn't give up that freedom for anything, so Verizon was a non-starter anyway (which is a shame really because we have FiOS and Verizon home phone and it would have been nice to have one provider for it all)... gotta have my root for Greenify and the mod to make the SD card writable!
Yeah, absolutely nothing to complain about at this point. I suppose things could go south at some point... until I see the ETFs paid off and the first bill to make sure nothing got screwed up I'm a little concerned... but assuming no surprises with either of those things I think this has been the best decision we've ever made WRT cell service (we had previously been on Verizon years ago, and AT&T before that, so we have some experience with all of them).
Verizon has never been a terribly bad deal for big families, but they hate single people with a vengeance

So did I! But I made sure to get an iPhone 5s from Verizon the day before so that I could sell it and get reimbursed from T-Mo for breaking the 1 day old contract. Also sold my S4 and bought a junk phone to use as my trade in to T-Mo. Now the money I made off the iPhone and the S4 will pay for the T-Mo S5. So got the S5 for next to nothing.
I am on ATT - but starting with my NOTE 3 and now my S5 - I don't buy ATT PHONES. I buy TMOBILE PHONES and use them on the ATT Network. They work beautifully well.
I actually signed up for TMobile for about 2 days - but I was so dissapointed with the speeds I got - compared to ATT they were horribly slow - ATT gives me phenomenal speeds around town and inside my house. The final straw was that I found the only way I could make calls from inside my house is if I used WIFI CALLING. I started thinking the reason that TMOBILE Came up with WIFI CALLING was because so many people had trouble getting signals in their house. I don't know if that is why they did it, but It sure seemed that way to me.
Anyway - I have never been happier - I get the best of both worlds - an ulocked device I can use - and a network that provides lightening fast speeds..
it works for me - and I hope whatever you guys are doing works for you as well...

This actually is the first time I had to buy a TMo version to use on ATT due to the locked BL in nature...If you can afford it, then its the best way to go in regards to the S5.
Guess I'm lucky, T-Mobile is awesome in my area. Slightly less coverage than AT&T, but the data connection is very stable and consistent.

Here was my post over there cause I donated too... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52145012&postcount=60 I have Verizon and T-Mobile so I grabbed the M8 on Verizon and the S5 on T-mobile. Best of both worlds, although the M8 is waaaay snappier in pretty much every task. I wish Samsung would slim this damn TouchWiz down. Look at your available ram and tell me that this baby don't NEED 3gb of ram like the Note 3. WoW! Anyways, the more devs we all have the better if you think about it. Look how many roms and mods get ported over from different carrier variants. Yes, I am a crack flasher for sure. Glad to see you donate too though. :good:
I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile the week before the S5 came out, I was paying $125 for a single phone on Verizon with 4GB data. Now on T-Mobile I get the same 4G coverage (in come cases better) as I did with Verizon, yet my girlfriend joined my account and together we get 3GB high speed data per month each, and its $100/month plus paying for the phones per month, I got the S5, she got the Note 3. Verizon is too expensive and controlling. I am very happy switching to T-Mobile.
Those who got the TMO S5, can you comment on performance? One guy on here feels it is not optimized for AT&T. He said it can be stubborn and prefer H+ in LTE areas.

No idea if he has a S5. But since he's posting in a S5 forum, it's a distinct possibility that he may have an S5 from his previous carrier.
And the suggestion may be in interest to others who subsequently read the thread as well.

I switched to T-Mobile over a year ago from Verizon.
I was on Verizon for 6 months but couldn't stand the high prices for data.
I paid the etf of over $300 and never looked back.
I knew I'd make up the $300 in 6 months with the money I'd be saving. Everything after that would be gravy.
This is what I did:
- I had the S3 with Verizon for 6 months
- I went to the T-Mobile store across the street
- I checked out the S4 and signed up. I was issued a new phone number because I didn't want to port over from Verizon yet as I wanted to see how the reception was in the areas I frequent.
- I had a 14 day trial period.
- I still had my S3 active.
- After 2 days, I went back to Tmo and ported my number from Verizon.
I never looked back and have saved a ton of money, and continue to do so.
I have Unlimited LTE data, and never have to worry about data overages or throttling.
I even got reception with my S4 where I could not with my S3.
I don't know if this was because the S4 had a better antenna than the S3, or if it was because Tmo had more towers in that area. I think it was the latter, as the Tmo map showed I'd get reception and I did.
I now have the S5 with Tmo and am really satisfied with the S5 and the Tmo network and service.
I'm on Jump 1, so I can upgrade my device every 6 months no matter what I owe on the device to be traded in.
Jump 2 is now available, but I am grandfathered into my original Jump 1.
Lol.....love it....and thanks

I just switched to T-Mobile from Sprint....and compared to Sprint's horrible service in the Denver area the service improvement is HUGE!
This is what I did (may not be entirely ethical in the grand scheme of things, but is legal)
My 2 year contract with Sprint was due to be done in August of this year. In June, Sprint notified me that I could get a new phone and renew a new 2 year contract early.
I signed up online for the tmobile try before you buy plan. I'm not a fan of the iphone but it was cool to verify the service was better than what I had and worked everywhere I needed before making any commitment to change. 1 week was long enough to know (actually 5 minutes was long enough but I took the entire week).
Kept an eye on techbargains.com for a free or 1 cent tmobile sim card....to avoid paying $10 for one in the store.
Bought a cheap SPRINT smart phone on ebay for around $15.00 (I think...although it may have been $35...)
Went ahead and renewed my contract with Sprint and paid $199 for a brand new HTC M8.
Signed up at tmobile, ported my Sprint number, used the sim card I paid 1 cent for and traded in the cheap smart phone I got on ebay. My next bill from sprint had a $350 early termination fee which I paid and then submitted to tmobile as they will pay up to a $350 early termination fee.
The parts I'm still working on are to receive the $350 etf reimbursement from tmobile (they say up to 12 weeks) and to sell the brand new HTC M8 and my old, still working, Sprint S3 on ebay.
My bill did go up about $30 per month but I have the jump protection and I'm paying ~$27 a month in a payment plan for my new S5.
Long story, but so far one with a happy ending!

I've had Verizon and sprint, my data speeds of 1.5 Meg finally did me in, couldn't take it anymore, T-Mobile has been great for me, they paid my full Etf (1800.00) and my data speed on lte are averaging 55...well worth it for me..

Five lines, renewed contract in March so they were all at 350 each still for the Etf... That was sprint, I live in Washington state and calls were great but the data sucked ass, T-Mobile is pretty damn good up here, the fastest test speed I have got is 107 Meg... Best on lte with sprint was like 2.7 Meg... What sucks though is with sprint you have to pay tax on the Etf which T-Mobile doesn't cover, so came out of pocket for taxes on almost 1800.00... But well worth it in the end.
I've moved my personal lines to T-Mobile from Verizon here in Cincinnati. Right now, the jury is still out on the move. The main reason for switching is the international plans T-Mobile offers. I went to a concert at Paul Brown Stadium and couldn't get service.

Thought I'd share my experience, had an VZW S4 (GPE ROM via SS), and used the TMO Uncarrier deal to break it off with VZW. I live in Jacksonville, FL, and I never once got LTE at my home, or on I-95, now with TMO, I have yet to drop from LTE once.
Went into the TMO store with my family in St. Augustine, told them I wanted a Nexus 6 and to get rid of Verizon, the guys were great, they told me that a shipment of N6's had just come in an hour ago and that they had two left. I handed him my S4 (Which I decided to keep laying around for now ) and he switched the number to the Nexus 6 (Took maybe ~15 Minutes) while I signed the papers for the phone and a new Unlimited Data Plan (for $80 less than my family paid for 3 lines with VZW).
I then started messing with my N6 while the guys were finishing up, now, my father and mother had planned to keep their phones and just migrate to TMO, but after seeing my N6, my dad said he wanted one, so the guys went in the back and after another ~15 minutes, my dad was set as well. My mothers iPhone 5s took all of 2 minutes to switch the new SIM into it and activate. Then, on the spot, my dad asked for a 4th line and new Nano-SIM, then my dad popped the SIM into his old iPhone 5 and handed it to my little sister and said "Merry Christmas", made her whole year.
Literally, ditched Verizon, had the cancellation bills paid, and walked out with 4 lines (1 Line of Unlimited Data, 2 Lines of 4.5 GB Data, 1 Line of 2.5 GB Data) for $240 a month and it only cost $100 up front for two new N6's and 4 Nano-SIM cards. ALL WITHIN ~45 Minutes.
The N6 has been great, I've already rooted it, installed TWRP, and enabled double tap to wake, and other than that, this thing is near to perfect stock.
Moral of the story, to anyone wondering if they should take the plunge, do it, you will not regret it
this is why the world needs more t-mobile coverage. in my area, verizon and at&t seem to be the only networks that have decent coverage, tmo is just crap here. but its funny how in jacksonville, a major city (kinda, i mean i live in FL and like.. well they have an NFL team there they must be big), it's the other way around.

It isn't. That is what has me scratching my head. I think you had a phone issue, I work near Philips and Southside and live practically on the fl/ga boarder and tmobile is crap.

I live in St. Augustine, work in South Jax, if you venture down to St. Aug beach, you'll find LTE almost everywhere. Do you have T-Mobile? O rave just heard from people? They recently rolled out LTE-A and a few other bands, so maybe things have changed since you last heard.

Phillips and Southside... I was at the Dave and Busters just south of there with my Family yesterday and had LTE as well, what device are you using?/ What bands does it support?

Unfortunately T-Mobile isn't an option in my area either. Hell, even Verizon coverage can be shaky sometimes. I've heard from loads of people who only just switched away from T-Mobile that their coverage was terrible in my area. If they can beef up coverage I'll change carriers in a heartbeat.
I tried to do this with a new iPhone 5S last summer. I lasted two days on T-Mobile in Boulder, CO. Sucked bawlz.
Returned the 5S, canceled the tmo line, bought a Galaxy S4 for less than half the price. Yeah, still on VZW, but the LTE unlimited keeps working.

Just to let you know I am using my Verizon S4 on TMo and getting LTE on prepaid. Unlimited text talk and data. The S4 is a global phone it'll work on almost any carrier lte and all

id love to switch but tmobile has terrible signal where i live (middle of nowhere) at least according to their map. i need to find some that has tmobile in my area and have them come over and do some tests.
I kept my i545 when I switched to t-mobile. I use the Verizon radios and use the i9505 or i9505G roms with no issues at all.
