Maybe first try to flash stock .54 FTF file then custom kernel and try again flash it with 3 wpies.
Cheers

ok i'll try this.
i through about a cwm version probleme too .. don't know, i'll make some test.
thx

Try flash stock ftf file. Then flash kernel from the rom's zip (there should be boot.img) and then flash the rom via cwm
Cheers

ok i did this, flash tft stock, reboot and flash boot.img from the rom, then install the zip.. but still the error, i think i have the correct error message (hard coz whit on white..)
finding ypdate package...
openning update package...
Installing update...
format() expects 5 args got 4
it's strange, in the topic of the rom they don't talk about sush error, so i think the rom is ok..

Sometimes some files in zip might be corrupted or u r zip can corrupt when u transfer it from PC that is due to faulty USB cable or faulty USB port so just download again and try or try a different USB cable and see

its not akernel.its a zip that you put a kernel inside and can flash it.
you open his zip( not exctract).delete the boot.img that is in there.there drag and drop in the zip the boot.img you want to flash(for example my boot.img fro my tar file.)then flash it from skin's CWM recovery

[WT19i][Tweak] Enable Dual Speakers in LWW for FXP CM9 [LWW]

For all who want desperately to make the Dual speakers of LWW work in the new ICS Roms (FXP Cm9) etc, Please REPLACE or ADD the following files (attached) in the zip file of the respective Rom that you are using in the CORRECT PATHS, before flashing that Rom in CWM. The paths are already given in the "RAR" archive, but for your convenience, I'm writing them once again.
For a CWM Flashble Zip (Dual Speakers and X-loud) For FXP CM9 Check ATTACHMENT....Flash It After flashing CM9....in CWM...
File Paths for Dual Speakers :
/system/bin/mediaserver
/system/lib/hw/audio.primary.default.so
/system/lib/hw/audio.primary.msm7x30.so
/system/lib/hw/audio_policy.default.so
/system/lib/hw/audio_policy.msm7x30.so
/system/lib/liba2dp.so
/system/lib/libaudioeq.so
/system/lib/libaudioflinger.so
/system/app/AudioEffectService.apk
/system/etc/audio_effects.conf
/system/etc/permissions/com.sonyericsson.audioeffectif.xml
/system/framework/semc_audioeffectif.jar
/system/vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf
Hope this makes your ICS experience even more 'bug'-less.
CREDITS :
Lasan(FrogyFurnetal) (For the files) , Expeacer (For telling which files to replace or add) , ramezzidane (For the zip) and obviously to all the other Developers for making the amazing builds in which we can try this.
This is experimntal....Dont try if u can't take risks...
Confirmed to work with FXP cm9...So, it does not work on MiniCm or ExMIUI due to different building sources...
For a CWM flashable zip by 'someguyfromhell' check THIS out and post your findings and issues with different Roms. This zip is confirmed to work on GB CM7. The flashable zip in not for ICS Cm9.
Are you tried it with MiniCMSandwich or ExMIUI? Because when we tried last time, the phone don't boot...

Should I create a CWM-flashable .zip file?
Also, your first post says to replace these files before flashing the ROM. That will not work, because ROM installation replaces these files, causing the dual speakers to not work.
These files need to be replaced after ROM installation.

[Q] FLASHING CUSTOM ROM FROM nTWEAKED

Hi guys, Xperia sola is my new device... the firm ware was updated by PC companion to 6.0.B.3.1.188... i have unlocked the bootloader via sony and flashboot.... I DID NOT ROOT MY PHONE...
I want to flash the custom rom from thishttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901075..... But i really cant understand what the installation guide says... Im new to android and sola is my first device... i downloaded the flashtool from herehttp://androxyde.github.com/..... and downloaded the rom files from the nTWEAKED thread....
The downloaded file contains A zipped File Naming : nTWEAKED beta V2..... After Unzipping 3 folder appear naming ''CUSTOMIZE"" "META-INF"" and ""SYSTEM"".....
can any one guide me on how to :
1. BACK UP MY CURRENT OFFICIAL ROM?
2. NOOB PROOF STEPS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE ROM FROM THE nTWEAKED thread?
3. IS ROOT REQUIRED FOR THIS ROM? IF ''YES'' THEN PLEASE CAN U ADD PROPER STEPS FOR ROOTING AND THE BEST AVAILABLE AND STABLE KERNEL??
4. WHY ALL THE ROMs aRE BASED ON .184?? Isnt .188 is the latest????
Please help me with this.. im really new to android and xda.. culdnt figure out it by nyself....
Hi. The rooting guide can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849030
Basically you need to have clockworkmod (aka CWM) up and running to be able to install the custom rom you're referring to. Because you've already unlocked your bootloader, you can now begin rooting your device. Follow the steps indicated in the rooting guide.
DONT DO ANYTHING after that, just finish rooting your device. I'm going to try installing this CWM-enabled kernel from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1897908, and see if I can boot into CWM to flash the nTWEAKED rom. I'll let you know how it goes.
Il Help Ya Out

first of all your on stock (official) rom and didnt root your device ???
so for flashing this rom you need to root your device and have recovery mode too for that check the development section for custom kernels with auto-rooting and CWM too personally i think you should use this one over here :-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1897908
instructions given in the thread how to flash kernel through fastboot mode, follow them ...
after you sucessfully flash the kernel you will have root and CWM...
now to the flashing part :-
1) copy the downloaded nTWEAKED beta V2.zip file in the root of your internal memory
2) boot in recovery by presssing volume +/- when sony logo appears with a vibration and red led glows
3)choose option update from sd
4)choose the file in your case nTWEAKED beta V2.zip
5)installation will start an aroma installer will pop up follow instructions and your done
PS:- cant get simpler than this
Managed to install nTweak rom using Clie's CWM kernel. Dont forget to give us an update

All ICS FTF no need to check final verification ! May your ftf corrupted ! Try another one and always remember not to choose final verification !
I loaded the .ttf files should i check the boxes where the kernel and system is writen or should i just leave it like that

Dont exclude anything ! And besure to select wipe data and user
If its ftf file of a firmware u have to check no final verification then only ull be successful in flashing a fw. Nd download ftf files from ghostfreak or madfysh's thread.

Even I faced this problem once and I tried lashing with different versions of flashtool...
But I later realised that this as due to wrong version of ftf...
Try different firmware....or download the ftf again.....
That should work....
