ok, i downloaded the file but from a different site. but according to the instructions on the thread, it says i got to rename the file to: gmail.apk in system/app. but when i looked, i couldnt find it. im using rot explorer and i cant find it anywhere. where do you think its located?

Okay, first my base that I am flashing this from is a MJ 6 firmware and baseband which I received after I restored to stock but then I restored my system, data, and cache only from a previous Android backup and everything was working fine with my new firmware from this as a starting point I then flashed this kernel it installed fine & booted fine but no data and the user interface is extremely laggy some things were even in operable with my launcher which is apex
To further clarify, my BUILD is still Ml5, but the firmware and baseband versions are MJ6. This is what I had when I flashed beta 4. So I dont know if I needed to be on BUILD MJ6 or not, if that would affect kernel...I can't answer, just trying to be as clear as possible on what I had as a starting point, before I flashed this.

I was able to download and install. However, I lost all the cell radios after installing. Not sure what's going on there.

Yes. Like I said I joined private beta. However, when I go to his kernel file host the hltespr directory has two folders.....beta and jb4.3. Beta folder is empty and jb43 folder only has a changelog.
That is NOT where it's at. You need to find his direct link post.
HOWEVER, you probably don't want to try this version. Myself and multiple other folks have reported a pretty major bug.
Us version .tar stock Rom please? I can't find it anywhere either broke downloads or wrong kind thanks its bricked
