Hello all. I am rooted, running xposed module (stock otherwise), and twice now my phone has developed this problem.
With the screen unlocked, it seems to randomly jump to the call log screen.
The First time this happened, I tried disabling xposed module, clearing the cache, etc. Problem persisted. I factory reset and it seemed to clear everything up. Installed xposed again and no problems for a few days. Then, about 4 days later, I'm experiencing the same problem again. Didn't seem to coincide with installation of an app, enabling a feature, etc.
Any way for me to diagnose this or any experience with a similar problem?

Ok. Problems I have encountered the 2 days I have used the phone:
Constant freeze. The first hour I used the phone it froze and rebooted 7 or 8 times.
Missing SocialLocation.apk. This caused a problem for the GPS in smart actions to work at all. Rooted phone and installed the app, and problem disappeared.
Tried to hard reset the phone because of all the rebooting problems. Guess what, on the first menu coming up where you can choose language, the phone froze and rebooted again. Now still it is constantly freezing and rebooting.
The freezing issues does not really have one specific app causing it. It can happen whenever doing whatever!
Anyone got a solution for this? Maybe a OTA update for Norwegian model?
Well, as my dad's phone is still fine as of now with not a single reboot in 2 days, I'd suggest you get in contact with your carrier and ask for a replacement. This seems to be a phone defect and you should be able to get your replacement easily. Be sure to not mention rooting and installing SocialLocation.apk though!!
You rooted and removed some files from the System, did you not?
Has anyone encountered problems with the dialer?
I can punch in a phone # and press the green button to dial, but it doesn't dial immediately. There seems to be a lag sometimes of up to 30-60 seconds.
Also, sometimes I cannot hang up a call. I press the disconnect button and it just doesn't do anything.

i think that the same happened to me. the problem that I am having concerns the phone app on my razr. very, very often when I try dialing somebody, after hitting the the dial button, the screen where is shown a larger photo of the person that I am calling appears then it flashes and disappears (saying <call time 00:00>, something like when the call is terminated) then it reappears by itself after 2 or 3 seconds and the call continues smoothly. this is a very annoying problem, not being able to have control of my calls.
i don`n know what could have started this problem because everything was working fine, and still is apart from this issue. i`m not a skillful android user but i managed to root my phone (making all the necessary backups), then using some specific apps for rooted phones (like titanium, motomizer etc.) and every thing was OK. Lately i`ve installed a navigation program for android to my phone (iGO) but i`m not sure if by doing this, the problem appeared.
to solve this, i`ve tried everything: uninstalling all the suspected apps, factory reset, rolling back my system to a previous backup, updating my system version from 651.73.30.XXXXX.en.EU to 651.167.19.XXXXX.en.EU, cleaning the cache/dalvik cache. the problem still persists...
if you guys have any idea what could have caused this please guide me through a solution.

This is really annoying and quite random, but my S3 will randomly reboot after installing new/updating an app from the play store.
After the reboot, it installs/updates just fine until a later time, where it will reboot again.
I've re-installed the ROM/kernel, wiped both caches, and checked for this thinking it may be the culprit but found nothing so far and the issue still persists.
Did anyone of you guys ever come across this?

factory reset from recovery and flash a stock firmware via odin. (facebook and chrome apps sometimes causes freezing issues..read somewhere on the internet).
Recently, my GS4 started having occasional freezes where the screen will still come on when I press any of the buttons, but it will not respond to any touching of the screen, or responds incredibly slowly. The only way to solve this is to pull the battery and reboot. To try to solve this, I did a factory reset from my phone settings menu, re-rooted, and restored my apps from a Titanium backup, but the issue has re-occurred in the past few days. Is there any way to avoid this? Having to pull my battery multiple times each day is not ideal.
Uninstalling both Cydia Substrate and Xposed seems to have solved the problem. I uninstalled both at once, so I'm not sure which it was, but if anyone else runs into a similar problem, you could try that.

I got a problem after upgrading to Marshmallow,
Facebook messenger is disconnecting after switching to another app then back to it and its connect again
Is it a problem in Marshmallow multitasking or what ?
Any solution ?
Uninstall and really install it, I haven't had any issues with it. Also could try a different kernel
I had same exact issue with Facebook/Facebook messenger. Did couples factory resets/ wipe cache procedures, replaced the device through Verizon and never worked out. Finally I found the problem. I used to turn the power saving mode ON, and that was the problem, since the last factory reset I have done which was 1 week ago, I haven't face any problem with Facebook/messenger so far, because I haven't been using the power saving mode again.
