[Q] No Lockscreen Music Control, need help

So recently I updated to v20f on my P769 using the kdz and I noticed there is no audio control on the lockscreen. What is wrong? I think it was also a custom made kdz and not stock and it also removed my Root access. What do i do? should i just get a 3rd party lockscreen widget or is there another way?

Why dont you just flash back to v20d and update ota to v20f. And then root back by using LGpwn.

Updating to Jellybean

I bought a Lg Optimus G and its on 4.0.4 but its unlocked and using it on t mobile. When i go to update it it shows and error. Is there anyway to get jellybean with the phone on t mobile network? Please Help
You probably need to flash a custom ROM that's already on JB. Trying to update most likely won't work due to switching carriers. Hope this helps.

Verizon note 2 update question

So I have a note 2. It has 4.1.2. I unlocked and rooted with team win recovery tool 2.5.0.0 using odin. Now the update is out and I keep defering cause I dont know what to do. How do I update to the current version without bricking the phone?

You grab up one of the OTA based ROMs without the bootloader and flash it. That way your bootloader remains unlocked.

If you're rooted then flash 4.3 with odin and you can also look into Sophisticated Rom v3.1 for the note 2. it has a stock look and feel to it

Root , unlock bootloader, install recovery, and pick a rom. U have quite a few options in roms. It depends on what you like, I like stock based so I used ArtMod

Wrong. Before using a 4.12< based ROM he/she needs to update to official 4.12 or flash teenybins patch http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230994 using lgnpst. There are theads on lgnpst throughout the forum but if you need help finding them I will post links.

ZVA update notification

What app or process can I freeze to remove the notification? Thanks!
Sent from my LGLS990 using xda premium
You can try one called SprintFOTA. I deleted it along time ago, still get notifications. I updated to ZVA, problem solved, just make sure the boot section is not flashed, or else you'll loose root and the ability to flash bump'd roms and recoveries. ZVA boot loader blocks bump'd software also. Engine95's ZVA stock odexed rom does not include bootloader.

Thanks! Wasn't really worried about updating since it's still 5.01.
