How to Install USB driver of any Android? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As you know usb drivers are required by every activities. But Videocon A15 & some other mobiles have not official drivers. So how can I install usb driver for those mobiles? Pls reply..

[Q] Where can I find usb drivers for Micromax A25?

I have been trying to root my Micromax A25 but to no luck. And I have been unable to find the drivers for it. So is there any kind sir who would tell me or give me a link to a page from where I can get it. And if anybody has rooted this phone, please share the procedure.

If you using windows7 then it automatically identified your mobile and download drivers from imternet connection no need to install drivers saperatly by manual in windows 7...

MTK 6577 Drivers on Windows 8 problem

Hi,
does any one has idea how to install the MTK 6577 drivers for Windows 8 ?
I tried with the Windows 7 64 Bit versions. But still SP Flash tool cannot detect the Phone (Micromax A89 ) In the flash mode( with the VOL+ and USB connect)

Thanks for the reply, But I never had a doubt about the SP flash tool ... I had the problem with **Drivers** for Windows 8
I cannot see the Device attached in the device manager !
Switch off mobile. Then connect it to pc while holding VOLUME UP button of a89.

It may only be a port of the ROM but definitely not from source since MTK is closed source.

I don't know if you guys are still interested in porting I have Liqued E2 with mtk chip set so would love a mtk based port.

With ubuntu touch/stable
It will download and start installing but after 60%
Of installation it show upgrade or update command missing installation terminated

[Q] Rooting Issues With Micromax 116

Hey Guys,
I have lost my root access on canvas HD after installing Canvas 4 stock ROM.

I tried rooting method for both canvas HD and Canvas 4 using Motochopper, in my PC it says it was successful but when I check my phone I still don't have root access.
Any help here would be highly appreciated.

Also I forgot to tell something. Once I got the canvas 4 custom rom I manually just installed su from play store, will it be the reason for not getting the root access.

Okay bro nw follow the steps
1. Install the official firmware using sp tools
2. Run the official firmware 4 som tym Nd thn root ur device using framaroot
3. Install recovery using Mobile uncle
4. Change to the desired ROM.
