Hey guys, i was running the latest version of Slim Kat rom for my i9100 when it turned off and then was stuck on samsumg boot logo. When i try to access twrp it just says teamwin and wont go any further. It happened once before and so i just flashed a stock rom and then went back to rooting it. However, now when i try to flash any rom (stock/custom), or another recovery with odin it freezes at "nand write start". I have access to download mode which is really the only thing i have working atm
Ive read around and done everything (eg try other usb ports/cables/odin version) but no luck. Is there anything else i could do? I dont wanna do a pit flash cause im scared ill completely screw it up.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Hi guys.
Im on coffeebeans ICS ROM on my TAB 10.1 and it worked perfectly for about two months. But suddenly when visiting a random web page the tab suddently froze. When i rebooted it it was stuck at Samsung logo and justs restarts after a while. When going into Clockwork mod i cannot get access to "install zip from sdcard" the screen is black when trying to get access to internal memory. When trying to set it back to factory settings from CWM it freezes.. Any ideas?
Kinda strange i think! Guess i have to try install a new ROM via Odin but then I need help from one of you to guide me where to start
Thanks for all help!
That's really weird. It's almost like your file system got corrupted or something.
Here's a good place to start for the recovery process

Good luck!

Sounds logical. Can you point me to a thread with a recovery to use? And also a guide maybe so i use Odin correct. I have used Odin, but that is a long time ago
Try search forums
Use the official recovery from CWM only, here: http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager . If you are using ROM manager, just download it and flash recovery from via ROM manager. If not, use Odin. It's easy, turn tablet into download mode, start Odin, click PDA, choose the file with recovery and press start. For using Odin you will need recovery in .tar package, so here you are http://dl.dropbox.com/u/23527491/recovery.tar.md5 ...Touch recovery 5.8.3.1

Don't panic,follow the steps:
1-Root e recovery with cf-root
2-download rom ( zip.packages) If you see any error messages or the procedure stops, then the packet of cooked rom may be corrupted.
Re-download and re-install from the beginning..
3-If the first boot takes more than 20-30 minutes, manually restart the phone by removing the battery or by pressing and holding for 10 seconds the power button.
If the problem persists, perform a hard reset .
4-If the phone restarts all the time, back in recovery mode and re-install, also performing the hard reset.
5-If your phone will not boot up, go into download mode and try to install a firmware via odin, performing a hard reset.
i tried installing a stock rom then flashing over that i have installed a ics one and jb one...didn't work...the problem is not with the booting itself but with the flashing like i said every rom flashes in like 5 seconds...it tells me it;s done and everything went fine but when i reboot i can't get past the samsung logo before the boot animation, so practically the rom doesn't flash...i dont know why...odin works great....but i can't flash through CWM. I wanted to try TWRP recovery also but i can't seem to find one for the international version of SGS3...Please help:crying:
Flash via recovery requires CF Root ,
ROOT
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1684535
Odin flash is much longer than 5 seconds and short flash is probably wrong file /faulty file .

I really don't think the ROM caused your recovery to not work correctly. Have you tried a different recovery, likE https://play.google.com/store/apps/...DEsImNvbS5mcmFnZ2VsLnJlY292ZXJ5ZXhlY3V0ZXIiXQ..

Use a different/older recovery..if you are using touch version use the non-touch version of vice-versa..just flash the recovery tar file in Odin..

There is some protection with some cwm that allow script only with ROM Manager
as you can see there is no error in the log, so i can't do nothing.
Now try to ADB Push a ROM to your phone.....

I tried the instruction in these threads (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457458) and (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1916331). I couldnt fully understand the instruction in this thread about the PIT file but tried to flash the stock PIT file for my device with the other modem, code, CSC files through ODIN. in all my trials through ODIN the process will finish and I will get the PASS result and then the phone will restart to the same Samsung galaxy screen. can you help me please.

Did you try flashing just the Siyah or Dorimanx kernel using Odin and get to CWM recovery? It had worked for me once. Once in CWM recovery, I flashed one of the ROMS I knew was working for me and got my phone working.

hey guys, I was running my S3 on the paranoid android(2.99) just fine but then I tried to flash 2.54 over my 2.99 install through TWRP. It flashed fine but then it was stuck on the PA bootscreen so then I tried restoring a backup through TWRP but it said no backups found even though I made 3, i later realised they were in a different folder and I couldn't get them.
Anway, desperate to get a working phone, I downloaded the I9300XXELLA firmware and flashed it via ODIN, it failed so I disconnected my phone and now it says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, select recovery mode through kies". I cannot go into recovery or download mode.
Is there anyway to get my phone to work or have I successfully created a paperweight?
The phone was bought from India. If I need to provide any information, let me know, I'd love having my phone back.
First step is to source a USB recovery Jig to get to download mode .
That fails its a service centre .

Hi
I can't possibly state how foolish I feel right now, but I accidently flashed my Samsung Galaxy S2 I-9100 with a Custom ROM made for the I-9100G version. As a result my phone is now only able to reach the Download mode; not even recovery mode. However on connecting with Odin the test is repeatedly FAILED. I am now left with a stuck phone which when tried to be powered up is always stuck in an incomplete boot cycle. Do we have any suggestions / ways to get this corrected, or do I have to order a new phone!??
Please help...
Thanks!

Not yet. I may actually be a perfect example of one who should NOT try rooting..complete newbie in this world!!
In case you have any suggestions how to go about doing that please do share the same.
I took a backup of the stock ROM using Nandroid and had TWRM installed.
Of course, these are of no use until I'm at least able to reach the recovery mode!!
Have a look at my guide here on how to use the pit files: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ivatives/mod-increase-partition-size-t3011162
Download the stock pit file
Download the official stock firmware
Flash both in ODIN (tick repartition and make sure you have selected the pit file and the stock rom to flash)
Start the flashing process
