Extreme Battery Saver..? - AT&T HTC One (M8)

Has anyone managed to get this working on any GSM models from the US?
They have it running on the Verizon version and even with the new OTA that just rolled out.

For some reason it was removed from the US models. I have it on my AT&T model using a custom international rom

When I was trying out ARHD and Viper it worked. So I would assume that if we can't get it onto the stock Rom I would think it works.

AT&T One already getting software update

The HTC One on at&t already has a carrier pushed software update for it... I wonder what was changed.
Current software:
Build 1.26.502.6 Radio 4A.13.3231.20_10.30.1131.05L
New software:
Build 1.26.502.10 Radio 4A.14.3250.13_10.33.1150.01L
Hopefully it fixes the bluetooth A2DP issue I was having... the phone was skipping with Spotify in my car over bluetooth on my pioneer headunit. My Galaxy Note II works just fine in my car.
Isn't the international one on 1.28, and a leaked 1.29 build is out??
And how did you get an AT&T one?

Nice, didn't notice they made an AT&T specific forum, I had this one bookmarked . Either way still seems kind of pointless as the hardware is exactly the same. It isn't like some other devices that are changed for the USA market.

It's typically in the downloads folder on sdcard

Its probably that camera update that the international got, along with the typical performance improvements and what not.
Its probably bringing the phone to retail software. Don't think it will fix the bluetooth issue its the LTE interfering I think. Turn off LTE and see what happens.
I received the update too but It's not in the download folder. Battery life is amazing though.

Need AT&T radio.img from one of your devices...

Guys, I'm working on a mod to flash radios without actually flashing the radio partition: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2249573
This mod should work on all versions of the HTC One so feel free to try one of the other radios to see how it behaves on your phones.
Anyways. some users want to try the AT&T version of the radio. Can I please get someone to send me the radio.img? I can be created by running the command in the FAQ in the link above.
Thanks

Carrier IQ

So I switched back to my nandroid after coming from android revolution and the radio acting all wonky and was thinking of something. Does my stock rooted rom have carrier iq built in? And if so where can I find it to remove it? Curious to why we still haven't had a stock rooted debloated rom yet uploaded...oh well
There doesn't seem to be any insight on any specific Roms for us yet dedicated just to our device forum... Seems only option or the route people are taking this is to go to International forum and use them roms...
Hopefully this forum picks up on android dev soon.
Att has blown up huge already

This update (1.29.1540.16) is for the Dev edition. The at&t edition is not getting an OTA

Yep I believe I got it because I'm running dg's cognition...in his thread there are already folks reporting about this...and it's not apliable unless you do it manually...or just wait for dg to update his Rom which just might be past this update already...I'm choosing to sit and wait

you know there is an ATT ruu now which is newer than all of the att software that was shipped. Hoping scott or one of our ATT devs uses it as a base soon. DG stated he thought this ruu was the ATT update that they will be pushing out soon.. I locked and installed it to get any new firmware that it might have, stuff that doesnt come with custom roms. I do not know what the changes are with this ruu, there isnt a change log yet. I wasnt having any issues to start with and i didnt see any changes. That doesn't mean it wont fix your particular issue..if you have an issue that is.. Just thought i'd mention it b/c you guys seem interested in ATT updates..If you already knew, disregard. If you didnt, then here you go http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2287036
And just because this is a lower number than the dev and international phones, that doesnt mean its older or doesnt have the same bug fixes..

On top of my not knowing what RUU is, I doubt it applies to me anyway. I am completely stock not rooted and bootloader locked. This is the first phone that I actually like stock and don't feel like messing with.

[Q] Where are the ROM's?

I just purchased my S5 yesterday (April 17th), but I regret selling my M8. I thought the S5 would have more dev support and more ROM's than M8, but I guess I was wrong. On the T-Mobile M8 Android Dev section there is a GPE ROM and a RUU to covert the M8 to stock android.
I was expecting like 5-10 ROMs on the S5 already (as was with the Note 3), but I guess I'm wrong? Or can I flash ROM's meant for the non T-Mobile S5?
That's my main question.
Where are the ROM's?
wow really?
Impatient much?
You do realize that this phone came out less then two weeks ago.
And I am sure that not that many people have jumped to this since there were so many people that develop that are already on the s4 and the s5 is not that much of a upgrade for them to switch.
Not to mention that the AT&T and Verizon cariants are not rootable yet and more developers are typically on those networks to begin with.
Give it a little more time for the others to get root and developers to move over and get used to the different setup and roms will come.

You can flash the international ROMs but you'll lose WiFi calling. Remember that this device has barely been out a week and already on back order for many potential purchasers. Be patient, custom ROMs will come soon enough.

Haha I could care less for WiFi calling, my DSL is 2MB/s anyway, so its not like calls through WiFi even work.
That was my question, so now I will begin downloading Echo ROM.
Last question, will I lose 4G LTE flashing these ROM's?
Thanks!

Well just saying the M8 has more ROM's and even stock android flashability (made that up )
Seriously though, there is a GPE ROM for M8 that allows you to flash back to stock still, and the RUU Google Play Edition, which essentially converts the M8 on T-Mobile (and other carriers) to a GPE version of the M8 permanately.

I haven't tried it, but I would assume it works fine as long as you keep the T-Mobile firmware. There is some discussion in the general thread about people running the international ROMs as well as in the international forums, look around. I think we'll start seeing custom ROMs built from the T-Mobile base sometime next week at the latest, I'm content with root for now.

I agree, but the M8 Android Dev thread still has more threads, when it had a locked bootloader! You can argue since its easy to unlock etc, but come on. I remember when the S4/Note 3 had dozens of ROM's in like 2 weeks.

I'm thinking of upgrading as well, but coming from carrier specific devices (the Samsung Infuse, ATT only, and the Nexus 4 on Simple Mobile), there hasn't been different variants. So the T-Mobile devices is compatible with ROMs built for the international variant? Would the kernels for it be compatible as well? The only thing that would be lost would be the carrier specific additions such as built-in VOIP? No differences in partition layout?

It did flash? Wonderful! Please let me know if the issue with 4G is kernel/radio based, or just due to a missing/selected APN.

APN shows T-Mobile, so I believe its just a kernel/radio issue. It's up to you if flashing a custom ROM is worth no LTE.

You need to verify the T-Mobile APN. Maybe the settings are not for T-Mobile LTE. I had the same issues after my flash but I am on AT&T. Just make sure the APN settings match that of T-Mobile LTE. Carriers have more then one APN.
