Found it strange that I was perusing the HTCDEV site and it looks like the RUU's for the M7 are gone (ATT, and Dev Edition) the GPE is still there. Makes me wonder if they will actually post any for the M8. And why would they take them down? Whatcha think?
well i think htc is very developer friendly and will continue to be. so they will release them.
HTC will release them or someone will leak them..
HTC is obviously developer friendly so don't expect them to hold anything back.

We have flashable wwe firmware that can fix partitions, then you can just load stock rom. This is all you really need unless you just want the att ruu.

That's awesome. When I had the ATT M7, I loved going back and forth with the RUU's.

So I was aware that you used to be able to get RUUs from HTCs website, but upon going to the website I don't see them anywhere, at least for the DNA. Anyone know where to get them?
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 2
They are not out yet for the DNA, dont know when either. HTC releases when they want too. Just keep checking the forums, we would probably have it here as soon as its out...

Thanks for the response. My worry is that HTC isnt going to release RUUs for the DNA. I need them because I cant get otas because im not on Verizon.

I don't think he needs the hboot. I think the radio is a must, the jury is still out on the ota kernel (boot.img). Some people say battery life is worse and others say it's better.
Go to the link below. Its the new place that has all the ruu.exe. The DLX folder on that site is the one for the HTC Droid DNA. They dont have the one with the latest OTA yet but they will soon.

Supercid will likely come at the sametime s-off comes which defeats the purpose anyway. Cid partition now has the same power-on wp that the security flag partition has always had. Needless to say, the old HTC exploits are closed and we are starting from the ground up.

in all fairness the att bloat is really unnoticed on the htc one. atleast to me anyway. since I am on int there is none. but I would still like a RUU. in the international section there RUU's started popping up already
Saw this FB feed yesterday but when you click the link, file name shows Europe. Will watch out for Att RUU.

Ok now you're scaring me. Anyone want to point me in the right direction? I would like to download that myself. Forgive me if it's right under my nose. I know nada about HTC but I already had to have my other 2 AT&T devices replaced so I am insured and down to test if needed.

It's the file you get in an Email from HTC after you submit your phone's unlock key.
I know it's been answered, I know there's a thread but I cannot for the life of me find it. So can you?

No. You need stock recovery for an ota. I THINK

Since it's AT&T, I doubt there will be a flashable RUU. I tried the T-Mobile, no luck.
Quit posting there's no ruu. There is one. It's for an unreleased version. 12 vs. 10
Here is the stock RUU for tmobile HTC one. It's breaks your ability to s-Off with revone and moonshine. Enjoy!

Correct (since the end of July), not to mention we already have a thread for it that has been going for that long, found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44486865
Plus, HTC themselves have it posted on their support page, so no reason to download it from a third-party source.
Here is the support page:
https://support.htc.com/en-us/030-H..._Maintenance_Release_Instructions_|_7.23.2013
Here is HTC's direct download:
http://dl3.htc.com/application/tmo/....20_10.40.1150.04_release_324846_signed_2.exe
Always go to the source when you can! No reason to get others involved.
You can download this from the official HTC website...
This thread already exists here HTC M7 (HTC One) Shipped Roms (RUUs). Please do not start like threads, in the same section. Your thread has been moved to the General section.
Thank you
I just wanted to say hi. I can't wait to start ****ing with this phone. In coming from an lgog so I'm doing my research since I haven't owned an HTC device in a long time n it's a different world from Samsung b lg that I'm used to

there is a couple things I miss from my lgog. The lgog IPS screen is much better. I also liked having an external sd card. I've been busy lately but when I get some free time I can't edit to dive into the kernel source n see what I can really make this phone do

I have the og pro and this device and I like the slcd3 better. As for the phone, I would s off immediately and throw a custom rom on.

See I like colors better and with faux gamma control I was able to make the colors more vibrant n make the screen pop. As far as s-off that's a plan since I'm a dev. I haven't decided on a Rom yet but most likely anything aosp as I prefer to play with aosp source. My goal is to port my kernel for the lgog to the one.

I'm still trying to figure out how roms n kernels work on a HTC device. I've never had an HTC device. I'm unlocked, rooted, s-off, newest twrp, hboot 1.44. I'm still on stock 4.1.2. Before taking the jump to aosp do I need to do anything?

For LG and Samsung. I've never worked on a HTC device. HTC is it's own beast. My first android device was the HTC evo on Sprint . That was my only HTC device. I've ever owned. I remember then certain it needed certain hboots n radio's. For certain roms. especially when it came to aosp. With Samsung and LG all you have to do is unlock the bootloader and have a recovery.

No it's not. Like I said I'm already rooted, bootloader unlocked and s-off. I had some people recommend supercid so I'm currently looking into that. Idk if anything else Is required for pa 3.99. I'm hoping I have some time this weekend to start on a kernel. Allot of the changes I made to the kernel for the lgog are universal for the s4 snapdragon cpu. I can't wait to see how the m7 reacts to this changes

If I were you I'd wait until the 4.3 ota hits. Based on all the near final leaks recently, I'd say it very well could be only 1 or 2 weeks away.
That's what I'm doing anyway, that way ill have updated firmware without needing to s-off, but then again s-off might not be possible for a while on the new hboot.
So maybe don't wait if you want s-off right away haha.
beamed from space.
Glad to see you here, ME. I loved your kernel, and stock based rom, over on the LGOG. Can't wait to see your work on the HTC One!
