I'm looking at getting an S5 - can I just get a confirm that a custom ROM that has Touchwiz framework on it (I'm looking at Shohat and Alliance for now) will work with the Gear? It's rooted but currently running factory default.

Just so you know, you can use International ROMs. Found here in the General S5 (International Variant) I do believe all the roms there support Gear. However using international roms wont allow HD Voice and Wifi calling.
Omega works great with the Gear.

i'm really tired testing all the roms.
the roms i am stuck on are:
1 ►►s5 sensation rom
2 ►►revolutionary s5 rom
3 ►►hypermax rom
these three roms are really nice. revolutionary s5 rom and s5 sensation rom are the most stable s5 roms i discovered ( for me atleast).
:silly::silly:the problem is: s5 sensation rom is fully s5 themed. and i love it. but wifi-direct doesnt works (though a few of them claimed to be working) :silly:
and s5 revolutionary is lightly themed and wifi-direct works on this one. :silly::silly:
so i need a fully themed rom with wifi-direct support.
so is there any s5 themed roms with working wifi-direct ???

flash deodexed stock rom and flash the s5 theme over it
some s5 apps can be found here

Did you try blekota S5?
Hi guys, I flashed on my S3 a rom based on porting 4.4.2 of Note2. With this rom have also installed the emoji's Galaxy S5 (first attachment), I don't like and I'd rather get back those that were base on my S3 (second attachment).
You know if i can take off and put those S3 original?
I do not want other, I like those S3.

Try emoji switcher from PS and choose Black/White Emoji's

Try emoji switchr from PS as @KeTuRr74 said. Busybox installer is recommended.
The emojis you want (black and white) are available on any 4.3 TW based rom for s3.
Imperium rom definitely has those, I've use them.

Currently running Xposed on my Galaxy S5 with the V7 Twi5ted Lollipop ROM with T-Mobile
Gravity Box and Greenify work on G900A running TMS5 Rom. I was hoping that Galaxy S5 Lockscreen Widgets would as well, but alas... There is some sort of conflict with Gravity Box and Zedge that causes the latter to force close.
Been running Greenify, Xposed Torch, and Hide IME Icon for over a week now. No glitches.
Experimental features now enable.
All work perfectly. Also have YouTube adremover and xtoast. Xled also works.

A quick search in the Android Development section of this forum would help you with your answer.
Yes, TW MM Custom roms are in development.
There's a current problem of WiFi not working on deodexed roms. Once that's solved, development should ramp up.
There are some custom ROMs (like S8 port, Note FE port) for G9250 on Gfan, but all of them are based on Chinese S8/Note FE ROMs. Unlike HK version of Touchwiz, Chinese mainland ROMs do not contain full Google Services and the Touchwiz apps inside are quiet different than the international ones.
I notice all custom ROMs in Gfan work with haidao ("pirate") kernel. So I tried some custom ROMs in XDA and flashed haidao kernel after flashing every custom ROM. All things worked successfully except signals.
Any developer can fix this problem?

no signal is a bootloader issue sometimes, try updating it.

Hello, guys. I'm now working on my S6 edge G9250 and I'm curious about how to flash XDA ROMs? I tried UlTiMaTe NouGaT S8+ Full Port V3.1 [G920/5-F/I/T/W8/S/K/L][ARC1] in this link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...elopment/rom-ultimate-nougat-s8-port-t3681259. But after flashed to my S6 edge, my touch screen does not work anymore so I cannot carry on the installation process. So could you help me with this problem as you said that you flashed some of them in XDA with pirate kernel? What's that kernel? I cannot find one... Thanks
