is it a normal problem that when we flashed a Custom firmware on s5830i , Download mode ins't working ?
i tried flashing a custom rom on my s5830i DDXLA2 Basband version DXLF1 Acecream and razodroid , upon flashing both custom firmware everything works good but when i tried to go to download mode all i can see is BLANK SCREEN . i already tried the volume up + down + power then insert the battery but still it doesn't work . my phone also is not detected in any odin . my odin version is 1.85 and Odin3_V3.07 .

Your problem sounds similar to this one. I assume when you say 'blank screen' that the screen is powered on?
Power off the phone, hold down VolUp + VolDown + Power for 4 to 5 seconds. Then release ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Now press Volume Up. Now hopefully you will be in download mode even if you can't see that you are. If it doesn't work try it again a couple of times. The reason that you have to press Volume Up is that a warning screen is actually displayed before the phone lets you into download mode.
The phone will give you no other indication that its in download mode and won't 'recognise Odin' when not in download mode. Make sure you have Samsung USB drivers (comes with Samsung Kies) installed on your PC.
Oh yeah and by the way the thread I've linked to suggests you have to reflash the bootloader to fix the 'blank screen' problem.

Do you really have S5830i? Or is it S5830? Because Ace-i, cooperve doesn't have jellybean. But to the question, install the drivers again until it works.
Download mode : volume up + volume down + power.
And there is any jelly bean rom for cooperve as mathm2013 said

yes its really a ace s5830i. I got this jellybean from samware.com or something lyk that site. But i want to know why [volume down+home+power] key doesnt work for to go in download mode. i have to press [volume up+volume down+power].. my phone is connected in normal mode for mass storage but wont be decteted by odin in download mode. So i think its not a driver problem.. I m really freaked.. Plz help me.

Volume up + home + power = recovery
Volume up + volume down + power = download mode
Volume down + home + power = nothing.
There is no JB firmware for this phone, you've probably Download a moded 2.3.6.

my ace not problem

i have a problem here my ace not boot right
its recovery plays crazy
cant boot in download modus
The correct combination is Volume Up + Volume Down + Power.
Even if it appears as just a black screen, it is Download Mode
Flash stock ROM through Odin
Flash it!
1.Pull out the battery!
2.Now keep pressing Vol down+vol up+Power
3.Insert the battery after the second step! (Use another person's help if needed)
4.COnnect to system!
5.Flash Stock firmware

Try rebooting your PC
Sometimes it takes 2-3 attempts to install the drivers for making Odin recognize the phone

Device not booting, screen stays black

Hello,
after rooting my S2, it is not booting anymore. After the i9100 logo the screen stays black. I did everythin from the description.here with Samsung Quick Root: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...t-app-updated-13-09-12-samsung-quick-t1125414
Do I have the wrong Kernel? If yes, were can I get the correct Kernel?
See Attachement.
[Edit]
I found following working kernel: Siyah-s2-v6.0b4-CWM.zip
you should have rooted using the odin method as it the most safest and noob-proof method .. try booting it in the recovery mode /download mode .. if you boot into recovery mode , wipe data and caceh and try rebooting system .. if not booting in the recovery mode , try download mode and if you do boot into it , flash stock via odin .. .. also , before trying these steps , try holding volume up and power button .. you might as well boot up ..
imp .. recovery : volume up + home + power button
download mode : vlume down +home + power button
all the best and hope i helped .. visit http://www.gokhanmoral.com/?cat=5 for more info on rooting ... download the .tar file attach .. select it in pda and flash via odin while phone i download mode .. hope i helped and all the best .. Happy Flashing
