So I was wondering is there any way to remove this zoom in/out button on LG P500, it really bothers me cause it has mulltytouch and a zoom in/out option. It will be great if someone can post the removal process from every application (Gallery, Browser, Facebook etc.) I was searching but I found no help at all?
Dont use the default browser but change to f.ex Opera Mobile. You could also change to a diff. picture browser.
Yea, I purposely use dolphin HD and file managers like OI file manager to view images just so I don't see the zoom buttons. Normally I don't mind, but with a small screen, and it might be just me, but the buttons are surprisingly big and cover a large portion of the screen.
Your fingers must be very huge :!
Big hands hahahahahahaha
So there is no way to remove this... cause I dont like other browsers like Dolphin or opera or what ever. And what's wrong having a "small" phone haha
i found a way to make them smaller
Great ciolnadu can you tell me how is this made, with some kitchen or ???
first i created a theme with round battery icon with UOT kitchen
replaced zoom icons with those smaller ones in framework-res.apk
signed zip created with kitchen with signpaktic from market
and flashed it in recovery mode.
ciolnadu if u can help me only this time.
So I have cooked my own UOT file and when I tried to flash it it gives me error like E:Error in /sdcard/UOT ....zip. What have I done wrong is this familiar to you
Hey all, I'm hoping you can help me with something.. I'm running Cyanogenmod 10 on Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 International version. When I call someone the call screen will have a huge photo on it and my photos are all small so they look terrible. I had it before with certain roms (not cyanogenmod) that the call screen would have a few options on it (like Gingerbread rom) and a small window for photos which meant the pictures were a decent size and looked great.
My question is, can I change settings in JB that will allow the small window to appear or do i have to install another stock dialer or such.
Sorry if I'm not explaining myself well...
Kindest Regards

Jelly support hd contact photos (256x256) which is pretty cool.
All you have to do is update your contact pictures manually or do it with this app, HD Contact Photos
Thanks for your quick reply. The app will be a big help, but we're would the photos be stored, since I've added the photos I've since forward the phone.
I'm using an International S3 in the US. I updated it to the Official JB via Kies this morning.
Everything is ok except the Gallery.
The Gallery doesn't go to full screen like in ICS, it now has the notification bar on top.
Even when I'm viewing individual photo in full screen, a black dead space is still on the top (like a place holder for the notification bar).
It means that I can not use the whole screen to view the photo. I tried zooming in but the black space is always there.
Do you guys experience the same problem?
I'm thinking of finding a new gallery apps, because it's pretty annoying (missing the whole purpose of owning a big screen)
P/s: the screenshot of that black space are in the attached file.

yea I have it too.. would be nice if someone could fix it. Tried to use quickpic but its just not quite that good.
I think it's not a bug. Samsung has changed that in JB. I don't know why.
Hello as the title says, when I try to set a native resolution wallpaper on a lockscreen of my SGS2(i9100), I am forced to use a crop. And this is weird, because I see no reason to crop such a small image as 800x480 pixels, also I can clearly remember that there was no croping, at least with native resolution pics, on ICS.
ROM - Omega 19.2 (based on stock Jelly Bean for SGS2).
Is it possible to solve this problem and how if it is?
Any help appreciated.
I suppose you already solved this problem by now, but for the benefit of anyone who might land here from a search query (after all this IS one of the clearest wordings of the problem I've seen yet) - just use the app from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2222518
It installs as an alternative "cropper" and it lets you freely select the area to use as wallpaper, including the whole image if you wish. The phone itself indeed is simply unable to "not crop" even a properly sized image otherwise, ever since the JB update (idiots...). Unless one wants to install a fancy wallpaper manager (some of which can also handle this) or start appending large empty frames around wallpapers just to be able to crop them back to proper size, this small app is just the ticket...
I'm not usually one to start threads but this has gotten to be quite the nuisance. I'm coming from a Galaxy S3 running AOKP 4.2.2 (I was kinda spoiled by the near Vanilla Android♥), and have never used HTC sense.
On AOKP stock android galley I could share it after selecting "View Image" in aviary.
Problem. I can't find my photos that I've edited with Aviary and saved.
What I do, how to reproduce.
1. Take a picture
2. Find it in your albums(which are a cluster**ck if you synced all your photos from your old device)
3. Share it with Aviary(may work with other photo editors)
4. Edit it somehow, then save it.
Here's where sh*t gets stupid.
5. A popup comes up saying where the photo was saved, with the options "View Image" or "Close"
6. Select view Image. YAY I found my photo that I just edited.
7. Look for the share button but only find "i" for details.......
8. Go back to the gallery and hopelessly search for the edited photo.
Thanks in advance!
