There is a battery mod in the first post HERE, it may work on other ROMs, I'm not sure, make a back up and give it a shot, or flash that ROM. Hope that helps.

Removing Transparent Pull Down

Is it possible for anyone to point me in the right direction for something like a mod or instructions on how I'd be able to remove the transparent pull down from das Bamf 1.8.6 and maybe replace it w/ the stock pull down?
As always any info is appreciated.

just find a theme or rom you like and switch out the corresponding png files in /system/app/SystemUI.apk. I can't remember the names of the ones you'd want to swap out but it shouldn't be that hard to figure out.
Actually 1.8.6 is froyo, so they be in framework-res/drawable-hdpi.

Cool thanks for the info. I'll look into it.

Yikes, I've never flashed Bamf but I suppose I should have checked the vers to prevent giving the wrong info. Been on GB since January so I'm always in that frame of reference. Anyway, thanks for catching that.
OP, if you want to do this easily on your phone check out NinjaMorph. Works fine for stuff like this when you learn how to use it.

OP, try flashing this in recovery to get your stock looking notification pull down. Should be no need to wipe anything ... but, of course, be sure you have a current backup. I am not running this ROM and can not test this .zip. Let me know if this is what you're after.

I have a post from a while back that has all of the boot animations included for the rez. I seeeriously need to update that thread but just haven't had the time to do so lately. You mind if I add this to the list when I finally get around to updating it?

which one are you referring to? Both are pretty smooth on mine but on rare occasions I notice it will hesitate. I"m guessing its just the loading of the files that's causing it.

wierd, when I restart from holding down the power button and it does the quick reboot, there is a little lag but when i reboot from the quickboot app and does a hard reboot, its smooth. (btw, I'm on nils 3.0 (no APM) give it a try and let me know if you have the same results.

[Q] SuperJelly battery icon issue

Hey guys new to posting here but I have loaded up several roms starting back when I originally had an og evo, so I am not a complete tard when it comes to this. I was digging through the SuperJelly thread in the Original Android Development forum and didn't find any clear answers and am unable to post there so hopefully someone can help me out. I installed the SuperJelly rom and got it up and running and everything looks great but I have no battery icon - which I would kind of like to have. I didn't really see anything in the superjelly updater addons/themes for a mod to add one either (in the attached image.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not too sure about downloading battery mods for other roms as im not sure if it will break anything.
Thanks in advance!
Hmmmmmm that's very weird..... Maybe bad download/flash? You s-on?

Nah, S-Off. Downloaded it through svn and compiled the rom and flashed it to my phone. My svn client isn't showing any bad files. Not really sure what happened as its my understanding there is supposed to be a battery icon in there somewhere!

If its a newer version try going to your pull down menu, click on the extended settings, then the user pannel. Toggle "status bar battery" off then back on.
Ahh..

Camera problems

I recently flashed bones factory ME7(Rooted) build everything went fine but I noticed on my camera the picture in picture doesn't work anymore. It freezes up when putting me in the stamp. Do I need flash a different kernel to fix this?
Thanks

Yeah a different kernel will fix it. Elite, faux, and KT all fix it I believe.
Hit thanks if I helped you out. Doing a little bit of reading goes a long way. Sent via tapatalk.

I cant really recommend one as I didnt do to much tweaking between them all. The elite kernel seemed to have some decent battery life tho. If you cant find them I have faux and elite saved to my phone and I can upload them to dropbox and drop you a link.
