How do you block spam callers and txts on the Z2? It's very easy on the galaxy note 2.

I would like to know how to bock a contact number on the Z2. On my old HTC One X it was easy, in the recent call list ust hold you finger on the contact number and select block contact. There is no option for that on the Z2
I'm using Mr number off the app market. Seems to work ok

On my Z2, I have created a contact called Zzzzz - I add all numbers I want to block straight to that contact and I have that contact set to be automatically rejected - All of the spammers, scammers and telemarketing numbers get added to it and I get no more hassle from them.
(((When in any contact to edit it, you can select the "three dot" menu at the top and set "All calls to voicemail")))

Basically I am looking for an app that will allow me to sort my contacts in groups and will block certain groups to call me for example during the night but other group of people will be allowed to contact me during the night, weekends, etc.
Nokia has this option as default but I am not aware of this feature on my Desire S.

OK my droidx there was a phone icon in the recent call log and I believe the address book that I could tap to call the person. With the gs3 I have to open up the contact first and then hit the call button. Anyway to make it call directly from the contact list?

swiping to the right on the contact will call , to the left will open messaging.
I'm pretty sure this is on by default... if not you will have to enable it.

It pauses for about 1-2 seconds which is a little annoying - seems slow, but it's definitely better than clicking everywhere!

how to hide caller number from screen
I too want to hide caller number from my screen, if I save the phone number 123456789 in the name "softheart", when she calls, her name as well as number apper in my android screen. I want to see her name only. I want to hide her number if any other member in my home watches my phone screen. how is it possible?? pls help, thanks in advance. ( other phones displays only caller name, but android shows number and name).

I've been looking for this for a long time too pal. Not for the exact same reason though, I just don't want the people around me to know the number of the person who's calling me or the person that I call. It's not good for business. But we both want the same thing. To hide the freaking number when the contact is already saved.
I hope some developer finds a way to make this mode

I wonder if is possible to have in Call History tab, small contact pictures like on HTC Sense? From what I've seen on Z2 is showing only the contact names in call history.

You might want to take a look at 3rd party apps like Call Log +.
Does the Honor 7 have either contacts favourites or speed dial? Seems to be missing!

Yeah has both
There is a star at the bottom of the contact to add as a favourite
If you hold down number 2 for example it will pop up with a question if you want to assign a speed dial for that number..
