Is there such a mod or app that places your notifications at the bottom of the pull down menu? So when operating a larger phone in one hand and you pull the notification bar down, say with a gesture, you have all your notifications at the bottom. I have seen options in ROMs to move the entire bar down to the bottom but not in the way I would like it.
Hope that makes sense.

I have an application that goes full screen and the notification bar is gone. I need to get to the menu and back button when this happens. Is there any way to force the notification bar to stick on top of all windows so I can access these buttons from within the application?
I don't know, but Button Savior is the way to go for now.
I have that installed, it shows on the right, but the menu, back, search buttons don't work, the only one that works is home. Any ideas?
I'm an idiot, had an old outdated version.....mods can delete if you want.
I had an idea. Try different launchers that have the option to set notification bar on top or bottom and see if works for the NT.
Hi all.
I'm trying to the following for months now:
You know that most of the tablets with android 3+ have this large black bar at the bottom. I'm not sure how it is called but I mean this bar where the clock, back and home button and the notification icons are on.
On the middle area of this bar there is always much space depending on the number of notifications on the right.
My idea was to use this space for shortcuts to apps or tasker tasks. Just like in windows the Quick Launch Toolbar on the task bar.
But until now I haven't found any solution.
Here is what I have:
I'm using tasker scenes to build my own shortcut buttons. Then I displayed these buttons as always on top and half transparent directly on the screen in the normal application display area. It seems that tasker is not able to display these buttons over the system bar. So this isn't a complete solution of my problem since the free display space on the bar is still not in use.
On the other hand I do know that it must be possible to program apps which are overlayed on the system bar since other apps can be placed over it.
Anyway...
I'm searching for a clean solution to get shortcuts on the system bar to start apps or tasker tasks with one click or touch.
Please help if you can or just post if you are also like to see such a solution. Maybe an app developer picks up this idea.

I would also love to see this solution!
Are there any mods out there (and if not, how hard would it be for someone to write one) that vertically flip the orientation of the Notification Panel?
Right now, the typical panel pulls down with a swipe, showing the Toggles first (if your rom has 'em), then the notifications, stacked in a list, last first. What I'd like is to be able to have the panel swipe up from the bottom of the screen, with the toggles at the bottom of the panel and then the notifications stacked in a list, with the last one at the bottom. In essence a completely vertical mirror of how the panel operates.
The closest I've been able to find is with PA, but it requires cranking the DPI on your device so that fonts are tiny, and the panel doesn't span the screen completely, it's just a little popup window with tiny icons. What I'm looking for is something that's perfectly identical to the standard panel, just upside-down.
Is this possible? Has anyone out there written a mod that does this? It seems like such an obvious hack (especially in light of 4.7" phones), yet I can't seem to find anything.
When I swipe down to view the notification bar, everything shifts. The whole page shrinks and adds black bars to the side. On the video I watched about Themer, when he swiped down the notification bar smoothly came down ontop of the page. Not sure if I am missing a setting or if that is just how it is.
Screenshot would be nice

In the first image everything is fine.
Second image I swiped down to show notification bar and everything shifts and it adds black bars to the side.
Third image is when I hide the notification bar and somethings are still shifted.
We're working on themes that have the notification bar built in. Right now most of them hide it for a clean look, but you can gesture down to open it temporarily, and gesture up to hide it again

That is what I am doing. But in doing the gesture down to show the notification bar, it shifts the items on the page. I like that it is hidden and the gesture down and up to show/hide it. Just hoping it was a bit smoother and just overlapping on the page instead of shifting everything.

Looking at your screenshots, it looks like you have a modified notification bar. On stock devices, when you gesture down, the notification bar "floats" on top of the theme briefly and does not mess up the alignment. Try restoring your notification bar to stock configuration and you might have better results.

I had a mod for the status bar and I got rid of it and it works fine. Thanks!
So it looks like the G6 has an awesome button at the bottom to pull down the notification shade so you dont have to stretch all the way to the top of the device. How about moving the notification shade to the bottom? This would make a lot more sense given how big phones are getting. Really the only reason you stretch to the top of the phone is to get to the quick toggles or notifications up top. Would be great if this came from the bottom to alleviate this.
Hi
Well, that requires a software modification, but if you want that button, it can be easily added if your rom supports Navigation Bar, you can add custom button and set function to pull down notification, and even if it doesn't you can add it with xposed and gravity box app.
