Hi,
What device are you using? Also what ROM/Root capabilities/Android version are you using?

Just plain stock samsung rom 4.4.2, no root (thanks knox), GS4.
And to the post above me, that's what I'm doing.

So you're simply pasting the Themer .zip files into the zip folder? Where are you getting the themes from? Could you please provide us with the links?
Thanks!

I think that if you download the stock rom of this tablet and unrar it, you will find them. Guess in system.apk or framework-res.apk

download malladus rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2589847) which is a custom rom based on stock. Open the zip file and extract the \system\framework\framework-res.apk file. Rename the .apk to .zip, open it and navigate to res\drawable-sw600dp-nodpi\default_wallpaper.jpg

I just did what you said to anything with "framework" in it and searched all folders, and sorted the contents by file size, then looked to see what they were. But they're both on Zedge now anyway for the S3, S4, and Nexus 7 FHD.
OK this is a stupid question. But how do I install the wallpaper? Every time I try to do it, when I rotate the screen there's a black bar at the bottom or on the side. It'll be fully wallpapered in only one orientation.
I am still on a stock 4.2.2 rooted ROM and by mistake I deleted my Live wallpaper APK and ODEX files from the system/app director.
I think its just LiveWallpaperChooser.apk & odex files that make the live wallpapers be chosen and work. Is there anyone that can share these files I deleted so I can re-install them? Need be same Android 4.2.2 version.. I tried the files from other ROM of newer version and they dont work.. thanks much in advance..

Hi. Yes I think these are the correct files, thanks a lot.. but maybe I am missing something else.. not sure if there is another file related to the live wallpapers.. the SecLiveWallpapersPicker.apk doesn't show the usual image (icon) and once I place both the apk and odex in the root system/app directory and reboot, I still down have the option to select a live wallpaper.. damn.. I think I am definitely missing another file..

Thanks a lot.. I cannot imagine other files needed.. except some sort of a file related to the live wallpapers that actually shows an icon (like a red picture fram as far as I can remember), not the green default Android icon that usually means a parsing problem or a non-application APK.. thanks again
Here is my guide on how to enable the use of standard bootanimation.zip files in the galaxy s5
First you must be rooted with custom recovery. either CWM or TWRP will do.
1. Download THIS FILE Credit to anbech
(THIS FILE disables the above action.)
2. Flash the above file, reboot. done
3. Add the zip file of the animation you want to //system/media with the permissions RW-R--R-- Make sure to rename the zip file bootanimation.zip after you download it
This should let your phone use the bootanimation.zip files that stock android ROMs use (Tested on GM900f 4.4.2)
NOTE, this only covers the booting up animation. the ROM will will still use shutdown.qmg to do a shutting down bootanimation.
Again all credit for this goes to anbech the following posts ill be adding my collection of ZIPS.
Boot Animations
downloads removed until new ones found
reserved 2
reserved 3
Thanks for this! It was working great with 4.4.2 but doesn't seem to anymore on 4.4.4. The screen remains black during bootup.

I had it in the right place, system/media, but it would just boot a black screen. Idk man....I was able to change the .qmg files and the .ogg files and get it to work though, so I'm content with it. Thanks

remember the qmg files will no longer fucntion if the flash worked. so if you flashed and are somehow getting qmgs to work, then something went wrong. are you rooted?

Great work great for a sweet from Lollipop Alexander ROM BNL9 Thank
I have no SamsungSans.apk in /system/app (stock firmare)
Should I put it there instead of replacing it?
yes mate just try this put this file in system/app and set permission??
and let me know are you using lollipop? and is it odex or deodex??
phone should be rootable to use this ?? I am using Samsung galaxy s5 g900f with lollipop.
I have a Samsung Note 3 with Lollipop (Audax ROM).
I flashed the fonts file via recovery (TWRP), rebooted and in settings/device/fonts I only see the usual fonts.
I checked in /system/app folder, the file SamsungSans.apk file is there, and the permissions are correct (rw-r--r--).
What else can I check to show the addidional fonts?
Thanks.
Working great on Galaxy S5 G900F on kitkat.
only issue is that stock fonts are displayed twice, but it doesn't disturb me.
